I had the best experience with sugaring at this location(I have previously written a review about the Santa Monica location). Also I would like to add that the customer service for this corporation has been amazing. Location and Parking: The location was a little hard to find. It's not facing the street, and is actually in the back. There is a small parking lot, but it only has about three spaces. However, when I went(around 2pm on a weekday) there was plenty of parking in the neighborhood and on the main street. If you get lost, feel free to call them and they will be more than happy to help you. Service: The woman who was my sugarista was fantastic. She made the experience quick and comfortable, but what really made her great was the attention to detail. I truly felt that she wanted me to get my best results. The best spray tanning place around! They give flawless air brush tans that you can rinse off in 3 hours. I've been going here for years. The staff is always so nice and professional and they're open from 9am-11pm during the weekdays. For someone who doesn't work traditional hours this place has been my savior! I've been here twice for both sugaring and spray tanning. I was really intimidated walking in because of how unwelcoming the girls at the front desk are but on my second visit they were nice so I guess it depends who's working. The first time I came in, my hair wasnt grown out enough for a clean Brazilian so we agreed to just do a bikini wax. The girl doing it for me was nice and explained the process since it was my first time. Unfortunately she got some of the sugar on my leg and neither of us noticed until I was getting my spray tan right after. They cleaned it off and re-sprayed me but there were other spots that didn't end up getting clean so I had white spots all over my leg lol and one side of my face ended up being way darker than the other The second time I came in to redeem my bogo yelp deal and I got a full Brazilian this time for an additional $10 since I was only able to do a bikini wax the first time. I forgot who helped me but she was sooo sweet! She made the experience so much easier by talking me through it and telling me when to inhale and exhale. I asked for a 1 on a scale from 1-5 for darkness for my spray tan and still ended up so dark and really orange. It looked nice after like 4 showers but I was really orange for the first 3 days Overall, I would come back to get sugared but probably go somewhere else for a spray tan read more

I have never been spray tanned before so it was intrigued. I figured it was my birthday weekend/Easter weekend so why not! The place is above the juice spot. There is an entire parking lot you can park in so no hassle with street parking. The front is a cute small area and if you walked further in, there was a waiting area with coffee and water. I was immediately greeted by Mikaela, who would be the one doing my tan. She was incredibly friendly and sweet upon meeting. She walked me into the room and explained the process to me. She was very professional and made me feel really comfortable considering this would be my first spray ever! Mikaela made suggestions on how long I should keep the spray on for and gave me instructions on what to do after! I wore the spray/bronzer on for about four hours before I rinsed off. I did notice that the color developed overtime and I loved the results. Only thing is you will have that "self tanner" scent on your body for a day or so. It didn't bother me though. I needed a last min spray tan and chose Sugared + Bronzed due to their great reviews and after my first visit, this will be my forever go-to whenever I need a spray tan! I was able to easily make an appointment through their website, and also noticed that they are open until pretty late at night which is so convenient with my work hours. All of the girls that work there are so sweet. Courtney did my Custom Airbrush Tan and was so helpful in talking me through the process since I don't get spray tans too often. I chose the Express Tan for an additional $10 and strongly suggest this option to everyone! The Express Tan allows you to rinse 3 hours after your airbrush tan (versus having to wait up to 12 hours or so so that it doesn't fade). I loved that I was able to rinse so soon after my tan - yes some of it rinsed off in the shower but nothing to be afraid of - from there, the tan develops overnight and the next morning, my tan looked amazing! Beautiful and bronze! It has been over a week since my appointment, and I still look tan and it hasn't faded nearly as fast as I thought it would. I loved this place, love the staff, and LOVE my airbrush tan! The quality is so much better compared to other places I have gone to in the past. Highly recommended! read more

Just started getting sugared last year in the summer. Amazing results for people who are prone to ingrown hairs. I have been coming to this Newport Beach S+B for over 4 years now! I cannot emphasize enough what a clean and professional business this is! Today I was sugared by Kimber (I hope I spelled her name right!) and she was just so amazing that I had to finally leave a review. The girls here are always so upbeat and friendly while always keeping it so professional. They are always respectful of my time and I'm usually in and out of there within 10 min (for a Brazilian) and I've never had to wait over 5 min for my room! What I can't believe most is how comfortable they make it so it never feels awkward or unsanitary. We always get very chatty during our session which seems to be great for distracting me, since I feel pretty minimal pain/discomfort each time I go in (no matter which girl is sugaring me). The only tricky thing I would say is the parking, but I've never had to do more than a couple u-turns to get a spot. There are only 2 allocated parking spots for you in the actual lot. Street parking is really straightforward, but just watch out for the street sweeping days (if they're even still enforcing that...idk?). And sometimes it could get busy with the school up the street... Do that note that I think they do an automatic 18% gratuity, but honestly I think they deserve it. Their service really is that great imo. Oh- And scheduling/rescheduling with them is soooo easy with their app. Man, I swear I'm not paid by them to say all this guys, though it may sound like it lol read more

I received a underarm sugar from them during Covid and it was one of the worst experiences with sugaring in my life. when I entered for my appointment both of the girls at the front did not acknowledge me and were extremely rude. also, I did not have childcare and they made my baby sister go sit outside at 9:30 in the alleyway. When we got in the room the girl continued with an attitude and I received the most painful sugaring. I have been sugaring consistently for the past year at a place called BEE SUGARED in Newport and have never encountered any of these issues with the staff nor the products. the worst part was after a terrible service 18% gratuity was mandated. SUGARED: Never shaving again! My friend finally convinced me to try sugaring and now I've been about a handful of times and I don't see myself shaving ever again. Not gonna lie, sugaring is a little painful. Well, depends on your level of pain tolerance. It definitely isn't easy for me, but the results are well worth it. I'm converted! I just had my 3rd sugaring appointment at the Sugared and Bronzed in Newport Beach. I have been thrilled with the results and absolutely recommend it! The ladies who provide the service are Amazing! They are all lovely and so good at putting clients at ease. I have had such a great experience each time. Yes, it's pricier and more painful than shaving but the results are incredible and last so long!!! After each sugaring session a less hair grows back. My only disappointment is that I waited so long to try it. The salon is super cute and in a lovely part of Newport. Also, I love how late in the evening they are open. I can get an appointment for when I get off work and then be on my way home 20 minutes later. GUYS READ THIS - I was on the fence whether I should get a spray tan before a family vacation. I thought it was just for women and I could get over being super pale at the pool.
