I really liked my wax from here would definitely go back for sugaring again and all the staff was super nice and professional and made me feel as comfortable as possible being naked in front of a stranger. I don't like my spray tan it's just way too dark, I said I wanted a subtle glow and for such little color that nobody will be able to tell I got a spray tan. Everyone can tell I got a spray tan, I'm about 10 shades darker than my normal skin tone and orange because my natural skin tone is so fair spray tans all tend to look orange on me. I'm still in search of a place that does good spray tans for people who are naturally really really fair and don't want much color. read more

I got my complimentary custom airbrush tan a week and a half ago and it was perfect for my vacation! I went with the level 3 tan and the color came out perfect and lasted longer than I thought it would. The girl (unfortunately forgot her name) who did my airbrush was so friendly, outgoing, and professional I will definitely be sure to ask for her the next time I come in! I had such a positive experience. I've had airbrush tans before, but this was by far the best one yet, with long lasting results. Booking online was easy, and I took advantage of the first time customer's buy one, get one free deal. I arrived a little before my appointment time and was able to be helped and get started right away. I got to pick from four shades (1 being the lightest, 4 being the darkest) and chose 2. It was the perfect shade for me - looked very natural, not orange or streaky at all. And above all, the spray didn't have a nasty smell like the other tans I've gotten in the past. They even offer complimentary masks to wear if you don't want to breathe in the product while they spray you. Very thoughtful. The best part was that they had a self-dryer, so I didn't have to wait around for fifteen minutes like I have had to do at other places, or stand in front of a noisy fan. This one was warm air connected to a hose, and I could go up and down my body until I was dry, which only took a couple minutes. I slept in my tan and nothing rubbed off on the sheets (although I did wear a long sleeved shirt and pants, as recommended.) When I took a shower the next day, some came off but I was left with a glowing tan that looked very natural. I got so many compliments! It lasted for a good few days (and would have lasted longer if it weren't for my hot yoga classes) and didn't appear spotty until the very, very end. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high quality, reasonably priced airbrush tan. read more

I went to Sugared + Bronzed on Montana Avenue after reviewing multiple different locations and seeing my friend's spray tan results. I am so happy I did. I absolutely love the technician Ellen, she is my favorite Southern girl with the best spraying skills, but all the technicians are good and every time I am so pleased with the outcome. I don't sunbath, so am white....and the tan looks so healthy! The location is convenient, there is parking onsite or on the street, and the service is swift with minimal wait. The staff will answer all your questions, explain how to prolong the life of your tan, and have your skin glowing as if a natural tan. Best spray tan ever!! Not only are the staff wonderful, but the owner located on the East Coast is lovely too. Everyone is so accommodating, and they are knowledgeable about the product and process, so will make you feel comfortable and ensure that you have a good experience. They were not accommodating at all! Due to a terrible traffic jam and what seemed to be a lockdown on the street, I was 10 minutes late for my appointment and they told me when I got there since they were booked all night I only had 10 minutes of time left so she would have to spray me quickly. The British or Australian girl in the front was telling me this. This didn't seem right to me so I just left. I live right down the street from this place and they will never see me again. read more

Very impressed by the technician I used last week. She did a fantastic job and even wiped each and every one of my nails after she sprayed me to make sure it was a perfect tan. I did the express version and loved it. I showered after 2.5 hours and woke up very tan the next morning. It's a bit shocking right after they spray you because there is makeup in the initial solution, so you leave looking SUPER dark before you rinse it off in the shower after 2-4 hours, and then the solution continues to develop for 10-12 hours.. I made sure to exfoliate the day before, moisturized twice per day starting the second day, and it lasted 6-7 days. Heading back soon, awesome experience! read more

I moved from the Eastside to Santa Monica a few months ago and found it much too far to drive to my previous waxer in Glendale! I Googled a bunch of places, looked at Yelp -- I wanted something close by, convenient, and not too pricey! (Santa Monica can be very expensive, especially for beauty treatments!) I'm so happy I discovered Sugared + Bronzed. It's fast, easy, the girls do a terrific job and doesn't break the bank! Sugaring is a different method than waxing, but I find it to be about the same (in both discomfort and results). You can book online (which I LOVE), and they only take credit cards, which makes tipping hassle-free. The Santa Monica location has free parking in back and the salon itself is neat and clean. I'm always in and out under the 20 minute "window" for my appointment. Everyone there is very nice and put me at ease, which is great considering sugaring is kind of "intimate"! LOVE this place! I always get spray tans for special occasions (or when I need to look "toned")- and have pretty much tried every location on the westside. This place is top knotch. The staff is friendly, the tans always come out perfect, never orange. I also love that I can get an "express tan"- which halfs the time I have to wait to shower after the spray (all spray tans leave you sticky and can stain fabrics before you shower- meaning no sweating or tight clothes until shower).
