It' hard to tell from a thin strip sprayed and other scents in the store...coffee beans really don't help. But I'd spray a bit on my skin and ask the other sales ladies what they thought. The one's I bought I liked and they loved! I bought 3. They were authentic (not fake like a lot of those booths are in downtown fashion district. Look for a metal stamp on the bottom of the bottle next to another stamp. If it doesn't have a metal stamp or engraving in the bottle, it's probably fake. Mostly men in there. Vicky even showed me how to get a bigger discount and asked me if I wanted bottled water. I took two. With all the booths in front of the stores in that area it's hard to find but I did. Parking is a scam...they wave $3 or $5 signs and point you to building parking and then when you get there it's $20! She said the $3-$5 was weekdays. But I felt safer there so I paid the $20. But I really just wanted to compliment Vicky for her patience with me. Give her a raise boss...or at least kudos. Many kudos. Thanks Perfumes LA...I'll be back.

The 2nd time I went there, a male supervisor intervened rudely into our conversation. I didn't make a big deal about it since he was not the one helping me. However during my 3rd visit there. I spoke with an assistant supervisor names Amelia who put to the side the last bottle of fragrance they had left for me. I was driving through the horrible traffic in LA and Amelia somehow had to go home. Unfortunately, the same Hispanic male supervisor made me feel like I was a burden. He must've stopped helping me at least 3 times to go help other people. His excuse was there were short of staff. By the time he called Amelia and located the fragrance she put aside for me, I was over it. Not to mention the fragrance had no plastic on it, which tells me that it was used. Honestly, I went there not because they have the best price, it's merely because I don't have the patience for shipping. Nonetheless, if you are looking for authentic fragrances you can go on Jomashop, or Fragrance net, Maxaroma or Scents Angels. Needless to say I will not be going back!

Plus there's footage being recorded at the store which can take care of that. Of course his employees are going to object any wrong doing to protect his image, please check the other negative reviews about his conduct as others have similar situations as well. I can't sit here and not respond to this as he is lying, I did not waste my time nor my 2 hour drive to see the owner Jamal specifically. It's unfortunate how he blatantly lies to cover up what really happened. This is not the kind of person you want to do business with. But regardless of how someone is dressed, looks, or presents themselves, every customer deserves to be acknowledged and treated with basic respect. I had an especially disappointing interaction with an employee named Cami. I was standing directly in front of her and asked for her opinion on two foundation shades I was testing--one on each side--and which one looked better on me. She completely ignored me. She did not acknowledge me or even look at me, despite the fact that I was clearly speaking directly to her. Thankfully, another employee noticed what was happening and immediately stepped in to help me. I unfortunately did not get her name, but I genuinely appreciate her kindness and willingness to help. I also want to give a HUGE thank-you to Natalia. She was an absolute sweetheart. She was kind, welcoming, helpful, and had such a great personality. She made me feel comfortable and helped turn an unpleasant experience into a much better one. If you come to this location and need assistance, I highly recommend looking for Natalia. She treated me exactly how a customer should be treated. I also want to recognize the gentleman representing Dior who was working in the store today. I believe he mentioned it was his first day. He had black curly hair, and unfortunately I cannot remember his name, but he was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful as well. Thank you for treating me with respect and helping me. As for Cami, I really hope she reflects on how she treats customers. Working at a high-end location does not make anyone better than the people who walk through the door. You never know someone's background, what kind of day they've had, or how much money they have based on their clothes or appearance. Ignoring someone who is standing directly in front of you asking for help is rude and unnecessary. Everybody is different. Everybody is unique. And everybody deserves to be treated with respect. Thank you again to Natalia, the Dior representative, and the other employee who stepped in to help me. You three showed exactly what good customer service should look like. Unfortunately, Cami showed me the complete opposite.

I was really excited to learn that Ulta offered their own beauty services. I made an appointment for a "Everyday Makeup Application" session -- 45 min for $50. I had been to this location several times in the past but had no idea they had a full salon downstairs! How cool! I'm not going to name the stylist because they were very nice, but we started late which I didn't mind. They were energetic and fun and we got along great and I was sharing why I needed the appointment because the makeup I was using seemed to disappear on my face after a few hours so I needed help with everyday makeup and then the ability to punch it up if needed. We were talking about all sorts of different products so I mentioned how contour in my pics came out looking really bad so they applied some without really showing me but I did take notes on my phone on the order to do all of the makeup stages and which brushes. What I didn't write down was the name and shade of each product which is a bummer because I def wanted to purchase some products after if it "survived" the day. The appointment was for 12PM but we started more like 12:15/12:20 (again I didn't mind that) but when the next appointment arrived it became a mad dash to the finish. When I got rung up, the total became $70 instead of $50. I explained I signed up for the everyday lesson for $50. They explained that once they did contour it became a "Formal application" at $70. I wish that had been explained to me because I really didn't need time focused on that and regret bringing it up in a lighthearted fashion. I wound up paying for it because the service had been rendered and I tipped because I liked the artist/stylist. I later called asking if I could please get the name/shades of the foundation, concealer and blush used and they said the stylist was with another client -- totally fine. Around 4ish I called back again because I was worried their shift would be over. The colleague said not to worry the stylist was aware I called and they would call me back during their lunch break. The call never happened so I don't know what was used and felt that although it was fun talking about makeup for 45 min, it was basically a pricy throw away session where I'm still left trying to figure out the best way to keep my own makeup on my face. I'm glad I tried it but I won't go through this process there again.
