I needed to get sugared and decided to give this a shot because of the reviews, location, and deal where you get two Brazilians for $49 Parking: Parking was a little tricky, but I was able to park on one of the side streets. Make sure to read the signs! Location: I loved the location. It is near many good shops and restaurants. The waiting area was very clean and well decorated, which made me very comfortable before my service. Service: In terms of the actual service, I was a little disappointed. The person who gave me a Brazilian was very nice, but this was my first time going to a chain(I have previously only gone to one woman operations) and really noticed the difference. For instance, the woman went really quickly through my sugaring, she did not have me breathe or pause, which made the experience quicker, but more painful. She also did not go over with a tweezer after and go over everything as careful as I am used to. A week later, I already had hair coming back even though this was my fourth Brazilian and I waited 6 weeks before I came here to ensure my hair was as grown as possible to promote a more even result. Overall, I will give it another shot to see if the result is smoother, but I may continue going to small businesses to get the more detailed result I enjoy. read more

I love it here. It's chemical free, smells good, it's clean, and they do a thorough job. I'm really glad I love nearby. Also don't feel gross or covered in yuck afterwards - yes there's some bronzer but it feels totally fine on the skin. You can rinse after a few hours too! The staff is professional and they do a great job. They have good attention to detail and appointments are always on time. I like the subscription service model and the app, which makes it easy to book services. One thing though, is on the app it's hard to see appointments beyond the next one made. If I want to book multiple appointments ahead of time I can't see all of them on the app. However, any time I've had to call in for questions or booking concerns, the staff has always been super helpful. I have also been to the Beverly Hills and South Bay locations when I can't get the appointment I want in Santa Monica and the service is high quality across the board. No funky lines and it faded down, beautifully, I've been back for two more, since my original, and I have been nothing but impressed. The last two tans, the girls took MUCH more time than the original girl. Both girls were nothing but sweet and made me feel completely at east. I cannot say anything bad at S+B! I got my first spray tan two weeks ago at the Santa Monica location and it was quick, easy and WORTH IT! Jennifer talked me through the entire thing and answered all of my questions. She made me feel very comfortable given it was my first time and she had the best advice on the color and care. I walked out feeling like a bronzed goddess, ready for my Cabo trip! it's been two weeks now and my tan still looks AMAZING. no splotches, patches, streaks, nada. I got an early morning appointment which is so awesome they offer such early times. They were very Covid safe and conscious. My waxing lady was named "Cat" she was amazing. The best waxing place I have been to. Cat was amazing and let me know how it all works since it was my first time there and I really enjoyed her hospitality and warmth. She was so great, made me feel comfortable and had amazing energy. This place is great I highly recommend this place and I recommend Cat. I had never done anything like this before and was anxious to be vulnerable but they are so kind and professional here and the space is so clean and well-kept! Know before you go.... 0. It is upstairs and the stairs are hard to see. They are just across from Jurlique. 1. Wear flip flops! You need to step out of the booth onto them and you sure as heck are not going to want to put shoes on after being sprayed. 2. It is ok to shower, wax, shave, etc. the day of if you have to. Just follow the instructions about products etc. They suggest you don't but you have the option. 3. The spray mist is cold. Not freezing, but cool. 4. I had my contacts in and had no problem. 5. Do a pre-tan before whatever you are going to do, so you know how dark you want to go and if you have any challenging areas. I am so glad I did. I am going to leave the solution on longer next time for my trip. I was plenty dark, but for my vacay I want to be really dark. read more
