Outdoor. Main entrance. I liked the jobs sign, but now I have an earworm. Lol.

Lovely shopping center but very well hidden. There is some outdoor seating, about 10 tables I think? Although it's in the middle of Arnold, completely surrounded by shops and roads, it's actually quite secluded and quiet due to the elevation. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helped me choose my lunch. I really wanted to try the PBLT, but apparently that was recently taken off the menu at all of their stores. He offered that they can definitely still make me a BLT and I could choose my own cheese. I opted for no cheese. I went with roasted Brussels sprouts as my side, and ordered a pint of Mac n cheese, bbq chips, and cookies for my sons to have later. The BLT was AMAZING. The bread was so crispy outside and soft inside. The bacon was thick and meaty and had a hint of sweetness. The tomato was beautiful, the lettuce was decent. I loved it. I know I should've gotten burnt ends or something, but nothing beats a good BLT, and this was a good BLT. The Brussels were delicious. I'm going to crisp them up in my air fryer later because they got soft on my drive home. The macaroni and cheese is... typical buffet style Mac n cheese. Very saucy and creamy and soft. My kids will love it. The chips were delicious, crunchy and well seasoned, though a little on the pricy side. No verdict on the cookies, I'll leave those for my sons.

Went on Friday around 1:15 pm for lunch because someone wanted ribs. Dining room was mostly empty; I think 2 tables occupied. My teen ordered pulled pork plate with fries and mac & cheese. Girlfriend ordered 2 meat combo with ribs & brisket, cornbread (grilled) and baked beans. I ordered salmon sandwich with coleslaw. We shared the starter pork belly hushpuppies, which were good as usual. The pork minus fries, and 2 meat combo w/ 2 side were given when we paid; the rest was to be brought to our table later. My teen and girlfriend had no serious complaints. He had to put alot of sauce on the pork, and the fries that were brought later with my order were just meh. My salmon and coleslaw was not worth the price. Aoli came with it but I added Carolina sauce to the other side of the bun. If I had seen a photo of it before, I probably would not have ordered, but I didn't find any review or photo. So now I'm adding one. When we lived near Valley Park we went to Sugarfire 44 every now and then, and it seemed better. We now live near Sugarfire 55, but probably won't be going often.

The brisket melted in my mouth and the loaded potato could have been a meal all by itself! Servers were nice and catered to my needs. Will definitely be back!

Smokee Mo's BBQ - Don't Judge the Parking Lot…read more Hungry and tired after a long stretch from Chicago, a stop at Gateway Arch, and still miles to go toward Arkansas, we landed in Arnold just needing food and a place to land. From the parking lot... I'll be honest, we had doubts. The kind where you look at each other and silently ask, "Are we sure?" But we walked in anyway, and that's where the story turns. Inside, Smokee Mo's is all easygoing, country charm. Welcoming, unpretentious, and full of that "you're gonna be just fine here" energy. The service was friendly right away, no fuss, just good people doing their thing. Then the food showed up, and any hesitation disappeared fast. We shared pulled pork and brisket, with sides of broccoli casserole, beans, and potato salad, plus cheesy garlic bread because... obviously. Everything was flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what you want when you've been on the road too long. No frills, just solid, comforting BBQ that hits the spot. Lesson learned (again): don't judge a place by its parking lot. Sometimes the best meals are hiding behind the most unassuming doors. If you're passing through and running on empty, this is the kind of stop that resets your mood and fills you up in all the right ways.

This review is for the new location in Farmington MO. The…read morewife and I looked forward to trying this new BBQ in Farmington,...but both of us were disappointed. The Good: The Brisket burnt ends were very good with good flavor. The service was very good and the food was delivered very quickly. But that's the extent of the good.... The Bad: The "Pork Steak Burger" was a major disappointment. It was served with nothing on the bun. No Onion...No Pickle...No lettuce...Nothing. Dry ground meat on a cheap hamburger bun. The burger did not have the flavor or moistness of a pork steak. It is pork run through a meat grinder with no seasoning added. VERY Bland...and at $7 was overpriced. I was amazed that there were NO Pork Steaks on the menu...! That is a fatal flaw that will prevent us from ever returning. The slaw was flavorless with too much vinegar and large chunks of cabbage that should have been ground or cut into smaller pieces. It was closer to a cabbage salad with vinegar dressing than traditional "slaw". My wife could not eat more than 1/4th of her serving due to the taste. The sides were substantially more expensive than the local BBQ competition. Standard sides like potato salad/beans/ slaw were all $3 for an average serving. Sides at competitive BBQ in the area are $1.89-$1.99 for better tasting food. A slab of ribs with (2) sides was $24. A slab with (3) sides at the competition is $2 cheaper. The only water they offer is bottled water for $1 a bottle. The BBQ sauce is served in bottles that have no labels. You have no idea what you are getting. They need to install a fly trap. We had pesky fly's competing with us for our meal throughout dinner. If you want excellent BBQ...Including Pork Steaks...Caledonia BBQ, Bailey Jo's in Ironton and Dexter BBQ are ALL better BBQ and more reasonably priced. When the new Sugar Fire BBQ opens in Farmington I will be surprised if Big Dick's in Farmington is still open a year from now.
