Great Friday night fish place. It has a limited Lent Menu during this season but I think it is one of the Best!!! The fried pickles are a MUST appetizer!!! They have good fried fish on Friday's. Don't recommend the pork steak, it'll be cooked dry and you will have to choke it down.

Came here with a group and everything we ordered was great. The fried chicken and sides were delicious. Mac and cheese bites appetizer had a kick and was very tasty. All the food we have tried is great. Fried chicken is the best. Barbecue pork steaks highly re on end.

The food was delicious. The pulled pork sandwich was supposed to be 8oz, but it had to be more. Potato salad and beans were both excellent. I do wish they had brisket. Brisket would make me want to definitely return. read more

I went for the golf, tried and was surprised by the burger, so much so that after 18 holes I went back in and got the ribs.

My first visit was on Mother's Day. We had a group of 20-30 people, so we were sat upstairs in what looked to be a banquet area. The view from the room out onto the course's pond was nice. I don't think the staff was expecting a group as large as ours on this holiday, but they handled it well, in fact I think they called someone into work to help. We had two waitresses handling our group, and they were very polite. On time with taking orders and good with refills on drinks, which can be a pain with a large group. I ordered a full slab of ribs/no sides. I was really wondering what to expect. The price was $23, which seemed a bit high, but I really wanted ribs and I was really hungry. When the waitress brought my food, I was dumbfounded. I've yet to see a restaurant serve so many ribs. They could feed a family of four easily. I finished half and took the rest home. They were just as good left over. My second visit was lunch for Memorial Day. Only a party of 3 this time, so we were sat downstairs in the dining area across from the bar. Good view again of the lake. They offered a special of a half slab and side for 9.50. Excellent deal. Food was great. Ribs were again delicious, and half slab was enough to feed more than one person. To close, I haven't had anything but the ribs, but I don't want to. With Mr Bbq, Shorty's, and Wicked Smoke, Waterloo has a few options when it comes to bbq. For the price, quality, and amount of food, this place wins though. read more
