Pulled pork, coleslaw, and house potato chips

Really solid BBQ joint that lives up to its motto of having the best pulled pork, west of the Mississippi! Their pulled pork sandwich is awesome, but they e got a lot of other great options too, ranging from smoked chicken burritos to smash burger tacos to ribs. All are great and the vibes are too, as it's a pretty humble experience in the back of a gas station. Definitely your classic, old school bbq taste and feel.

I had ordered a ton of food for an office meeting. Unfortunately, the owner fell ill so my order was forgotten about but I did follow up on it in the staff was so kind and apologized immensely letting me know that the owner has been in and out of the hospital for the past couple months. I have no idea what's going on nor did I ask, but if everyone could please show some love to this business and help them and support them through this difficult time and show the owner some love I think it would be greatly appreciative and a way to give back. You will not be disappointed with your order. I had ordered the mother Clucker, a bratwurst, sauerkraut, a cheeseburger, ribs, and smoked brisket for the meeting. Everything was absolutely incredible and delicious meat had such great flavor, and it was so tender I was blown away. I also love that they went above and beyond to label each box of what each item was, and the sides. Brian was so incredibly kind and kept me informed throughout the entire process. He was such a kind and generous person. Brian made sure we were completely happy with our order even though our catering order kinda fell through the cracks. Regardless, I would order from them time and time again.

    Pulled pork nachos

Saw an ad in our local paper for this BBQ place that is in the old service bay of a gas station. Had to try it out, I had the pulled pork nachos and it was excellent. They make their own chips for this dish and they were some of the best I have ever eaten. They give you are very large portion of food, and the pulled pork was really tasty and the bbq sauce was great. It's a fairly small place for eating in ( like a two car garage size), but it was very nice and very clean. The service was exceptional with every employee ( including the owner Rick) stopping by to make sure everything was good with our meal. I will definitely be back and recommend you try them out.

Great BBQ in an unexpected place! My mom suggested we go grab some BBQ from a new (to us) spot, which I obviously obliged to. We pulled up and to my surprise, it was located in the same building as a gas station. No judgement from me, I have just never seen a set up like this for a local spot with raving reviews! It was unique so I automatically liked it! We stood and ordered in line, and I got a pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese. The pork was super delicious- it wasn't too fatty or dry. It came on a bun which was pressed/ grilled which I think is always a great touch. The 3 Bay Mac n Cheese was delicious and flavorful. Sometimes (for me) Mac n cheese can need some salt... I was fine without it! They sell bbq and sides by the pound, which is a great option for larger groups. They also offer a ton of different desserts, as well as desserts by the pan. Next time I return, I want to try the smoked pulled pork nachos! This spot is definitely worth checking out!

The crispy shrimp lettuce wraps with cashew sauce...AMAZING! Pork chop was delicious and so was the crab, shrimp &!lobster bisque. The second time, I had the trio of medallions, ordered medium rare and the steak was overcooked, I could barely chew it. Last night was the most frustrating. My boyfriend made reservations, we got there on time to a pretty full (as usual) restaurant. They sat us in a little booth right by the kitchen and the waiter's station. I could understand doing this if we walked in to a full place with no reservation, but in my opinion that booth should be used only as a last resort. There was also an open booth behind us which would have been preferable to the one right by the kitchen. It was really disappointing because we both really enjoy nice food and restaurants, and we couldn't completely focus on each other, totally relax, and I didn't get to enjoy any of the ambiance of the restaurant because I was sat facing the waiter's station and kitchen all night. For people who really take pleasure in good food, service, and the style of a place it was very disappointing. I got the spaghetti and meatballs which was described as having burrata and basil, the main selling point for me, and all I got was a little hint of cheese around the meatballs instead of the glorious ball of cheese and cream I was expecting. The main flavor I got from the spaghetti was red pepper flakes, no basil and no balance of flavors. The saving grace was our appetizer of calamari and the pitcher of sangria. To sum it up, the focus is more on the wine than it is on the food, and their menu is a little too ambitious. If they pared down the menu to focus on quality rather than quantity of items available they could deliver some really excellent food to accompany the wine. I really wanted to like this place but at this price point, I won't be returning for an experience that is just okay.

The waitress also told me to save room for apple pie and their special cinnamon ice cream. What a nice treat! It was delicious. But then again everything was delicious. We had the smoked seafood appetizer- wow !!! Loved it. For my meal I got one of their seafood specials: grouper served with green beans and mashed potatoes. Fabulous! My husband loved his meatloaf. Personally I would prefer a PBJ sandwich over meatloaf but hey, his meal. I hadn't noticed previously that they have 2 bars. They are back to back. One can sit at bar for dining too. A benefit of sitting at a table is the ability to talk freely because tables are well spaced with substantial dividers between them.
