She orientated us to the space and offered us beverages. The waiting area was intimate and welcoming. Amanda & Kimberly came out to greet us shortly after we arrived. They were both affable & personable. Once they assisted us to the space we briefly went over massage type & pressure preference. We enjoyed the intimate space and lighting. We were able to enjoy some much needed time just being present with each other as we sipped Prosecco during our foot soak. The local toffee we had were divine! The robes they provide are comfortable & great quality. I enjoyed my massage with Amanda. She had a great balance of fluid movement with firm pressure. We both thought the temperature of the table was just right & relaxing. I definitely felt myself falling asleep. My husband fell asleep. My husband enjoyed his massage with Kimberly. He said that she is skilled & worked out knots he didn't realize he had. He appreciated the amount of firm pressure she applied. He said he felt like he could do gymnastics afterwards & was pleased that he could feel the difference hours later. Our entire experience was rejuvenating. When I came into tan the door j stayed open and the girl at the counter asked me to close it because she wanted to keep the air conditioning inside. I told her the air conditioning hasn't been fixed in years. I looked down the hallway and saw that the back door was open with this big fan blowing in (she was also wearing a zipped up sweatshirt at the time) She then said that she has been keeping the doors to the rooms closed to keep it cooler. I asked to go red lighting and tan afterwards. She put me in to red light room when I went in there the door was obviously closed, as I entered it felt like a sauna compared to the rest of the building. I went back to her and said the door should not stay shut, your customers are going into a sauna it is staying way too hot and not getting a chance to air out. Obviously she did not care because when I completed my tanning portion, I walked out all the doors were still shut, and you could tell they were not all occupied. Not very smart. I know that they get young people to cover these spots, but they should be trained better I even had someone the other day that could not even start the tanning bed correctly in both the red light and the gold bed I had to go out both times and let her know the bed wasn't on. I also witnessed her doing the same thing as I walked in with another customer. I guess with this kind of business you are going to get kids as employees but train them better. The people that patron your establishment pay good money. They can go join a health club and get the services and more, thought about it myself when my healthcare providers assistant told me that's where she goes and paying the same amount as I am right now. If this keeps going on, I may definitely take her advice.
