I had a last minute appointment and Elena is awesome! The atmosphere is so calm and chill. Elena makes you feel some comfortable. She finished so fast and she's very detailed with her work. It was my first time at this location and I will be coming back! Just leave some time to find parking especially on the we. I've been coming to Angela for close to 4 years now and I can't recommend her enough!! She's the best! Always makes me feel relaxed and comfortable, and does such a great job on my legs and Brazilian, I don't know what I'd do without her! Sugaring gets my skin smoother than shaving and the hair that grows back is softer and never prickly, and Angela does such a great job getting all the hair, when I shaved I always missed a spot and now I don't have to worry about that anymore! I never write reviews but had been struggling to find a decent hair removal place that would accommodate my schedule and standards. I've had some pretty hairy experiences (pun intended) with other local salons in the area. I live in Hollywood but work in El Segundo and have always had a difficult time finding somewhere that a) stays open late enough during the week b) offers good quality services (careful and hygienic) c) is affordable and amicable Sugaring LA in MB hits all of the above points! They're extremely professional, clean, well-lit and friendly. I've been to Angela twice now and she always makes me feel comfortable and at home. She's quick, efficient, and thorough. I went in for a Brazilian during my first visit, but after talking to Angela (who's just a lovely human all around) about sugaring my underarms, my interest was instantly piqued. Bonus about this place: There's a parking lot located across the street and I usually only need to put in one quarter because Angela works quickly. They make rebooking your next appointment extremely easy (and offer a discount for every time you rebook right then and there), which was great because after how well my first appointment went, I immediately knew I wanted to come back again. In preparation for my second appointment (which was initially supposed to just be a Brazilian), I grew out my armpit hair just in case I wanted to try getting sugared there. I am so happy I listened to Angela! I love the results of the underarm sugaring! My skin there is as smooth as a newborn's bottom and the dark shadow is gone. Apparently odour and sweat will decrease as well. It's the perfect prep for summer! And it's not expensive! Looking forward to many more sessions to come! Angela OMG! full disclosure, I'm a dude, so most of my grooming has been done with a razor. I had my eyebrows waxed once and i swore I'd never do it again. That being said ingrown hairs suck, so when i was introduced to sugaring my thought was ,"well, shit, this can't be nearly as painful as waxing. So as you can imagine My first (of many!) experiences with Angela was insane. She let me calm, made jokes and overall just made me comfortable. I've been going to sugaring for a while and can sing the praises of the process, the place and the aestheticians. First, the process. After getting rounds of ingrowns and subsequent bumps from waxing that started to look like they needed explanations to dates (as if dating in LA doesn't suck enough on its own ), I was in desperate need of a change. My body reacts much more positively to sugaring - less bumps and ingrowns, if any - and the time in between appts is comparable. Next, the place. It's super clean, adorable and across the street from the parking lot in El Porto. Finally, the aestheticians. I've seen a number of folks over the years and everyone is professional, talented and lovely. I do want to give a shout out to Angela, who has been doing this a while and is not only personable and funny, but pretty damn good at this whole sugaring thing.
