A nice afternoon to spend at this winery , especially after doing a hike up the mountain. Plenty of outdoor seating, the place looks and feels very inviting AND a major plus - they allow dogs so bring your pupper and enjoy ! They also allow you to bring your own food so we had quite a party Their wines are good too! You can either enjoy selected wine flights, choose by the glass or just get a bottle . Sooo many delicious wines to choose from and they were really nice and accommodating to let us taste some We bought a bottle of their white blend which we chose over the viognier ( which was also good when tasted ) to share plus extra glass of Cabernet Franc. Highly recommend! Just go !

The weather was quite cloudy but we still had an amazing time here! It was great to catch up with my friend over the mixed flight (though we preferred all the reds to the whites and maybe should have just gotten the red flight). I liked that we could bring our own snacks and also how dog friendly it was. The best part was probably the live music -- it was AMAZING! Incredible performance.

Early Fall Weekend Winery Excursion Late September to early October, I decided to go on a ride into the countryside. I was searching for this farm stand with heirloom vegetables. Unfortunately, the stand was no longer there and I did not find the multi-color pumpkins I was seeking. You see, when you go to the grocery store, you only find the standard orange pumpkins. Determined, to have a good time and fruitful excursion, id pick a new destination. I decided since I was only a few miles away from the Sugarloaf Winery, I go there instead. Lucky for me, they had a tasty food truck serving food and a vendor fair going on that day at the winery. Also, there was a singer playing music on an outdoor stage, sing cover songs charming the crowds. I enjoyed a glass of smooth white wine, and the service was exceptional good. I had such a good time, I intended to return for Halloween but maybe another time. This is definitely a fan favorite and I'll return sometime soon.

Bought a bottle of rose after a tasting!

After enjoying a tasting of the Rose Wine, I bought a bottle for $25. The sangria was fun to try, but I prefer the Rose. It was crisp and not to dry with a subtle sweetness. I took a peek outside and there was a food truck, live band, and nice views - good fun! Will come back again with hubby to enjoy the ambiance and try more wine.

Excellent place with good wine and music! Service is also top! We will come back soon!

When I went, I had a mixed flight. It came with 4 tastings for ~$25. I had a 2023 VIOGNIE, 2023 ECHO, 2023 Cab Fran and chimera 5th ed. The wines that I had were pretty good. I loved the outdoor seating; however, be mindful that tastings occur only on the upper level. Also there are limited seats.

Just love this place! Great people, absolutely nice scenery, good wine. Their Cabernet Franc 2022 Reserve is so good.

Beautiful setting. Wheelchair accessible. Good prices. Great wine options. Small but ample snack options to go with a flight or a glass. I hope to be back one day.

With covid times they are only offering flights which was $20 a flight. But the wine was so good and as I was with a fiend we did 2 flights and were able to try all 7 wines. They were delicious and Gouda is the cheese to my heart so of course we got some of that. I am glad they figured out a way to stay open during covid times. Everything was compostable or recyclable which definitely made my environmental heart super happy.

    Nice view with wine bn

A large vineyard with lots of outdoor space, picnic tables, and room for your chairs and blankets. Bring your food or order from a food truck.

We stopped by this place after hiking at sugarloaf mountain. They practice Covid 19 Safety guideline. This place has huge open place and so many picnic tables. We sat down a table to enjoy wines. We enjoyed mulled wine, Chimela, and Cab franc. We enjoyed the view and wine.

Not family friendly. If you have kids, just don't bother going. There are better options and the staff is extremely rude. And wine is meh.

Let me first add the context that I don't really identify as a wine drinker, but will still occasionally visit vineyards because I think the experience is nice. 61 vineyard was a cool spot for sure. They have a nice open location with tons of space (I think they said around 40 acres) and they've been expanding their main location for the four years that they've been open. They have a main tasting room, an expansion seating room, and an outdoor patio area that are all well maintained and great for parties of all sizes. I partook in the wine tasting which was very good and the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to (which I find often makes or breaks wine tasting experiences) The wine itself does seem on the pricier end for what I'm used to where I think the average bottle here goes for over $20. But there are also member and subscription types of services to take advantage of discounts. I'm not entirely sure if they have relationships with food vendors, but they didn't have many food option in the main location itself when we were there. The food options that I saw were prepackaged charcuterie packs, so I would keep that in mind for your visit. All in all a very nice winery spot and would recommend even if wine isn't typically your drink of choice.

I paid a reservation fee of $112 for 4 people, which includes a welcome drink (champagne) and 3 hours to drink & dine. Not sure if the recent hype justifies the reservation fee, on top of what you're already paying for the food and wines. Excellent service & friendly staff from the welcome at check-in and throughout the experience. Cute touch with the Polaroid picture they took of us outside at the beginning to commemorate our time there. The lounge area is beautiful; loved all the overall style and vibe. They mentioned they will add seating outside in June, once the weather gets warmer! They also have farm animals roaming in the grassy area in the back. Food: the menu for lunch was pretty limited to some salads, small pizzas, a charcuterie board, and a few other small bites. We ordered the margherita pizza (made with sourdough focaccia) & the charcuterie board, for which I selected salami and several cheeses. Decent food, but not filling for a real meal. I assumed there would be more menu options after reading about the chef's tasting/kitchen. The wine: for the first bottle, I ordered The Stonehold, which is a red blend. Our server told us that it was one of their newer wine offerings, limited to only 100 bottles or so and once it's gone, it's gone. We all enjoyed this wine, so I highly recommend if they still have it available. For the second bottle, I ordered our server's favorite, which was the Fieldborn (another red wine), but we all still preferred the first bottle. At $88 a bottle, although they were good, we weren't particularly blown away by the wines. Overall, 4/5 for price to value ratio and limited selection for food & wine, but 5/5 for the service and ambiance.
