Came here with a few of my Elite All-Star friends after an event and I must say, I fell in love. I love the cozy, dimmed light atmosphere. The lights, the roses, the greenery and candlelight were simply beautiful. I love the feel of the space, you could have a nightcap, intimate date, friendly meet-up or night out with the girls. The drinks were amazing and beautifully garnished. The "Bam-Bam", inspired by The Flintstones, had fruity pebbles in it. How cool and colorful was that? You could enjoy the beautiful ambiance inside or sit outside under the stars and night breeze. I can't wait to come back and try more items off of the dinner and drink menu.

Quick drink after an event led us to sugarvale! We each ordered one cocktail, the bartender was great and we quickly had some delicious drinks in hand to take outside and enjoy the night! I thought they were a little expensive, each was $15 which is a little higher than I'm used to, especially since one was a smaller cocktail. They had indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. Overall would go try more!

Sugarvale was so cute and just what I needed to end the night. The had food but all I got was a drink. The drinks had cute names and were so pretty. I tried a drink with rum called the "Beach Dip" . The inside was dimly lit with a small bar area and seats around. They also had benches outside.

I've been to this venue multiple times over the years and they never disappoint. This basement restaurant has a very cool urban atmosphere and you don't feel like you are below ground. Since I'm not much of a cocktail drinker, I can't comment on the drinks from here other than to say my friends appear to enjoy their cocktails very much. There's also a ton of seating outside, and I love taking advantage of those seats when the weather is nice. My past recent visit, I got a slice of the Damn Good Pie...not sure what I was on that day, but that pie is named properly. The buttermilk tart gives a cheesecake vibe and texture and the crust was a nice finish. Definitely an enjoyable visit!

Sugarvale has some fun cocktails and drink options. They have both indoor at outdoor seating. The drinks were great, everybody enjoyed the cocktail that they ordered. I will say it took a little bit time to have the drinks prepared as there was only one person at the bar. They have some small bite available as well. I would not order the Mac and cheese as it barely had any cheese sauce. The kfc buns however were delicious. The pie was also a nice sweet treat.

I really enjoyed dropping by Sugarvale recently! The ambiance is very intimate, with the door feeling slightly hidden going down to the basement level, and dim lighting plus candles lit at every table. I went in on a Sunday so there was all-day happy hour, so the drinks were very affordable! However, the food options are very limited on Sundays--I was excited to get the Spicy-G Mac and Cheese (the same one from Dooby's I think) and the KFC Buns, but will have to come and get it another day. There usually is Guacamole and Yucca Chips on Sundays, but unfortunately they said they were out of food for the weekend when we asked about them. There was seating both at the bar and at a few tables on the sides, but it probably would get filled up quickly with much of a crowd. The service was quick and great; we were given water as soon as we sat down and also handed menus. I'm not really great at ordering cocktails, so I asked the bartender for his recommendations for a drink that is sweet and fruity, and he suggested the Amaro Daiquiri. I thought it was delicious and hit the sweet and fruity notes while still being pretty strong. My friend got the Mezcal Paloma and she liked it as well. Something cool to note is that all the shaken drinks can be made into mocktails upon request too. It seems like a great place for a small catch-up with friends or for a date night after dinner. I definitely will be back for happy hour, but probably wouldn't come on Sunday just because I want to have a chance to try out the food menu!

We walked down after leaving another packed bar not too far away. Super intimate bar with unique cocktails. The Kapaa's Cup I order was spirit forward, but a bit salty for my taste. I ordered the Hurricane something (the featured cocktails change) was delish. It was a guava tiki style cocktail that drank really easy.

Sugarvale is one of those places that you know is going to be a good time and the perfect place to set the tone for the night. I always know I am going to get a good cocktail with good service and be met with good company. The interior is cozy and warm and the staff is so attentive and creative with the drinks they create. Normally I'll do a menu drink then go to one of my typical bar drinks but here I always want to try everything they create. I always know its going to be a good night when we start here. On the other hand their bar food comes over from doobys so you know its going to be good. Last time I came I got wings and I wanted to stay longer just to order more! so come for the drinks, stay for the vibes and get food!

Sugarvale has a calm ambiance with a floral and fairy light ceiling. My favorite food were the KFC buns and the all the drinks were well balanced. The bartenders were friendly and great to chat with.

First stop on our pub tour. Got the really fun guy and alien love call cocktails. They made the drinks fast and yummy. The really fun guy is a great combination for the more bitter flavors and the alien love call was yummy with a bit more sour. Not margarita sour, it's great.

This was the first stop on a spooky pub tour. Imagine my surprise walking into this swanky establishment expecting a pub. The drinks are very unique and yummy. Our group had four different beverages and enjoyed all of them. The drinks do have an elegant touch, so this would be a great place for a date night. Highly recommend!

Went on a whim to try this place out and I'm glad I did. I came alone however I had good small talk with the bartender. Their menu changes based on the seasons which I enjoy. I tried the Kuromi Koffee which is their flair of an espresso martini. The flavors were amazing as It reminded me of a salted caramel drink. I'll definitely be back

Great atmosphere and good wine. A great new spot in Mt Vernon. The cheese is very tasty but a bit pricey for the amount you get.

I asked for it extra dirty and I could barely taste the olive brine, I actually had to have him pour more in front of me lol. Also service was a little slow. So for grabbing a quick drink with the girls sure, but staying as a regular nah.

I also wish more of the wine selection was available by the glass instead of only the specialty wines by the bottle because we ended up choosing from the house wine options. I did have a glass of sparkling wine, which was really good. I'm planning to come back with a friend to give it another try. It's considered a Baltimore classic, so I'd love to experience it again and get a little more context on what keeps people coming back.

We sat there enjoying our drinks, the cheese board, and watching the Blue Angels fly by. Great atmosphere. When we asked for the bill it was $73. Keep in mind, that's for four drinks because everything else was given to us for free. We never asked for the peach drink or the cheese board--he offered them. We paid the bill and left a good tip, but come on...$73 for four basic drinks is crazy. Just be aware if you're stopping in. The drinks are not cheap. Even with the free extras, it didn't feel like a good value.

My friends suggested that we dine here for restaurant week which was a sweet idea. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly hostess who took us to our seats. Then our waiter explained the menu and gave us some time to decided what menu we wanted to order from (Restaurant week brunch menu or regular menu). We chose the brunch menu. For the brunch menu we were able to choose a appetizer, entree, and a dessert for $35.00. Not too bad. For drinks I ordered PIRATE PRINCESS which was Ron del Barrilito 2 Star Puerto Rican rum, passionfruit, miso honey, lime, and togarash. It was a perfect balance of sweetness and a little bitterness. For food we ordered the shrimp and corn patties, and the pan roasted salmon. The shrimp and corn patties were delicious. It was packed with multiple flavors and it was seasoned really well. The pan roasted salmon was cooked to perfection. It was flaky, and seasoned very well. It came with Ramen noodles that I thought were going to be temperature hot however, they came room temperature which was fine. They were seasoned very well. The ambiance was very nice. It gave like 1950's/ 1970's vibe. Old marble tables, antique pictures on the walls. It seemed like the building use to be a house prior to it becoming a restaurant. It was a great time. The valet, the host, the servers and the managers all make you feel like you're the most important guest in the building, regardless of how many other guests and parties are there. I was impressed with the service and felt so cared for and the server answered all of our questions and explained everything in great detail so I knew exactly what I was getting. And the atmosphere is one in a million, I felt like I was at a neighborhood hangout but also eating in a royal dining room. I love the attention to detail. So now to the food + drinks. I am not a drinker so I asked for mocktail recommendations and ended up with the POG it was served in a SPAM can and was so delicious it was passion fruit, orange and guava drink and was not just delicious but also beautiful! Now to the appetizer we ordered Spam Musubi and it felt like an explosion in my mouth, it was so delicious and like nothing I've ever tasted. For dinner, I had a delicious dish Gochujang Tteokbokki again melt in my mouth deliciousness and not something I would have ever thought to order. We ended the meal with dessert we ordered one of everything and shared and there wasn't a crumb left. If I could give them 10++ stars I would and this will definitely be a return place for us! I am so glad that I was able to try foods I wouldn't normally eat, but also experience upscale service in a neighborhood vibey space! Keep up the good work, Duchess!
