    White Negroni

We had a great night at DC. Got a white Negroni and traditional Negroni. We also got some snacks. Pickled carrots, avocado motzi, and the patatas bravado. All good and with a DJ to boot. DC is always super cute and chill but the DJ vibe really pushed it above normal. Service is always good! Give it a try if you haven't, especially with the cocktail passport going on right now.

I have been to Dutch Courage twice and its definitely a fun experience. I enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the production of drink making! As a non-drinker, the menu seemed unique. I asked for recommendations and trusted the bartender. My first drink was more like a spritzer and my second drink was reminiscent of a Kahlúa based drink. It was dense and strong. My partner's drink mirrored an old-fashioned and he really enjoyed it as well. It gets busy on the weekends however, you usually can grab a seat in the back or at the bar. There is heated patio space as well, which is nice for a larger size group.

What a wonderful spot to grab a drink and appetizer!! My friends and I stopped here prior to a dinner reservation- though honestly you could spend quite some time here drinking and snacking if you wanted to. We ordered a blend of regular but also non-alcoholic (NA) cocktails, and we all loved the presentation and tase. Our server was also excellent, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The ambiance is super cute and feels very "Baltimore" eclectic while also being elevated and casual at the same time?! Hard to explain- just go check it out :)

Both my visits here have only been for drinks. We sat at the bar this time and after reviewing the cocktail list, we ordered our drinks. It took our bartender 22 mins to come back with my drink (Widow in the Sunlight) and to inform my friend they didn't have an ingredient for his. So my friend got another drink (Jasmine) to which the bartender said he'd comp it which we appreciated. Very mediocre service this time around but drinks were still good.

Overall- adorable bar with high end cocktails, super kind service, indoor and outdoor seating, super cute garden area in the back, unique cups and sitting areas, inclusive culture, single stall restrooms, I always enjoy the drinks here and feel like the bartenders genuinely enjoy their jobs. This is our go to place to enjoy Baltimore Pride. Only criticism is that the Clover club was probably my least favorite clover club I've ever had. Idk if the glass smelled bad or if something in the drink was off but it made me a little nervous cus this drink has egg whites.

My granny used to always say "gin will make ya sin". The cocktails were 100/100!!! Very creative and tasty and Instagram worthy lol. Chris was a great server! I love the outdoor dining option and that it was covered. The inside of the restaurant is pretty swanky as well! I love that the menu changes to offer variety to customers. I'm not sure if it's helpful to have reservations prior to dining as it is a small space. We were lucky the outdoor dining option was available as we did not have reservations. We will definitely be back again!

The bartender was so friendly and the menu so impressive, honestly wanted to try everything on the menu! We had 2 cocktails each - one of them being the PSL Ramos Gin Fizz which I urge everyone to try at least once. The smoothest cocktail I have ever had. Apparently it is also one of the hardest to make because it takes lots of manual shaking for the egg whites to blend - I saw they have a machine now to do the shaking part which is really cool! I think this will be a mandatory stop every time I am in Baltimore.

Love love love this place. The vibe feels like you're at your cool aunt's old Victorian house. The cocktails are eclectic and inventive, and as a gin lover, perfect to try a few!! We also had dinner for the first time here and really enjoyed it! The crab dip and entrees (The Sea and The Bird) were expertly cooked.

My family is of Dutch ancestry, so I was excited to find Dutch Courage, especially to find Genever (which is hard to find). In that regard, I was very happy as they had a wide selection of Genevers, I was able to create my own flight, and was even able to purchase a bottle. Where my visit was lacking was in the service and the food. I sat at the bar and there seemed to be four bartenders and a manager working on a relatively slow Sunday night. It was difficult to get their attention as they went from standing around talking amongst themselves to all four (and the manager at times) working heads down on cocktails to the exclusion of other customers. With the food, I tried ordering the gouda cheese board, but they were out. For dessert, I tried ordering the pumpkin roll, but they were out. As my entree, I got the pork loin, sweet potato puree, turnips, apple rum sauce, but it obviously had been sitting for a while before being served to me; the pork was cold, the sauce was congeled, and there were juices on the plate running from the pork. I had waited so long to get it, it wasn't worth saying something about it. I also ordered a glass of wine, and the first bottle they poured from had gone bad, so they had to open another. Seems like when it comes to anything but the cocktails, they're working out the kinks. The atmosphere was great, the selection wide, and the servers were friendly (when I had their attention), so I'll definitely be back. It's not like there are many places I can go for Genever, let alone buy it. I do hope they get things more organized with the service and food though.

We came here for a prefix menu, and it was... exactly fine. And we got the drink pairing. And it was... fine. We've come here for drink before and comparing the two experiences I was so let down by the pairings. I would come here on just a regular night when they're not hosting an event, let the bartenders work their magic and make something for you based on you. It seems like quality goes down when they're forced to do the same thing over and over again. Dutch courage is so cute and cozy, gin is my absolute favorite. It's worth the visit. Just come on a non event night!

*GINgle Bells holiday review* Drinks: Delicious and innovative! 10/10. Showstoppers were the Gin-Gerbread Beet Down & Where's The Tylenol. Food: Good. Highlight was the Motzi Bread & Smoked Salmon toast. Midnight moon cheese board was delicious. Pickled asparagus and mussels were just ok. Ambiance: Cute spot, but didn't deliver on the "holiday experience" promise Service: Friendly, fast, and attentive; explained cocktail flavor profiles and made suggestions based on our preferences.

Went for their holiday pop-up event which had a holiday-themed cocktail menu and, what I thought to be, "halls decked" for Christmas. The cocktail menu delivered but the decor was lack-luster, to say the least. Garland and a nutcracker, with a few snowflakes in the lobby ...but far from an "event" as it was described. I digress. Holiday cocktails were **awesome**. Great themes, great names, great, varied tastes and flavors. Sweet, herbal, spicy,...not a stone unturned. Well done, there is definitely a drink for everyone! Tapas was okay-good. Pickled asparagus, goat cheese were good, their mussels were adequate (not bad quality mussels but totally lacked flavor). The show-stopper was the smoked salmon (the soft bread was a welcomed surprise). Bartenders were helpful, informative and super attentive (without being in your face about anything). Vibe was great. It's half of the main floor of an old townhouse which makes it feel like you're just stopping by a friend's house for a drink (with an impressively stocked bar). The mismatched chairs add to the charm, in the best way possible. It was cute to see friends, couples and big groups all there, enjoying their evening!

Fig prosciutto & pomegranate was fantastic!!!! Everything was

Told about the great cocktails and they were truly great! The service was so excellent and kind. The food was delicious and filling. Must go different seasons for the menu change!!!!

However, the bartender, Vicki, refused to accommodate us at all, despite our willingness to wait our turn. Rather than acknowledging us or offering an estimated wait time, we were simply turned away. What made the experience particularly disappointing was not the wait itself, but the lack of professionalism and hospitality. We were treated as though our business was not welcome, which is not the level of customer service I would expect from a hotel of this standard. As paying guests, we expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. If the bar was temporarily unable to serve additional customers, a polite explanation or request to wait would have been completely understandable. Instead, the bartender's, Vicki, refusal to accommodate us left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. While I thoroughly enjoyed my hotel stay, this definitely put an off putting taste in my mouth toward customer service standards. I hope this matter will be reviewed so that future guests receive a more professional and courteous experience. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.
