The food was amazing. It was so good that I forgot to stop and take a picture so forgive me for the noodle picture cause I already started eating it lol. First impressions are this is a wonderful place to eat at. I saw the chili powder on the table and I knew it was gonna be good. The owner is so kind and sweet came out explaining the menu to us. Let us know what was good and took great care of us.. The food came out quickly and was so good. Score another lovely night with Swee Pee. Nice Valentine's Day dinner with my honey. It was busy but she still kept her smile. I had the ribs. They were delicious. My honey had his favorite drunken noodles. The star of the show was the beef jerky salad. OMG! So delicious. Get down to Suipi's and try it out. You will not be disappointed. read more

Recommended by a friend, we came to enjoy a delicious dinner! We asked to be surprised with top items and were served the garlic noodles, curry and a chicken dish. We also enjoyed the samosas as an appetizer. Everything was served quickly, extremely delicious and we had wonderful service. The restaurant is cozy and I love all her decorations and plants. My favorite food item was definitely the curry with squash. It was packed with aromatic spices and cooked well. Excited to go back! read more

First timers, very varied palates! Suipi was very kind to greet us, though we didn't understand that the menu rotates and is limited (though that makes sense!). We were glad to start with samosas (could've been temperature hotter), the noodle dishes for my mother in law and I, energy bowl with pork for the 'kid' and a soup for my husband. We (except MIL) felt there could've been stronger flavors, though we are not familiar with Burmese food. The bone broth soup was delish though, and a surprise addition! Around noon and it wasn't busy, though other customers were there / came in for takeout. It was quiet, and beautiful with all the plants. Nice time. read more

Battle Creek was known as 'cereal city' and is the birthplace of Corn Flakes and Grapenuts. The glory days of the 'San' are long gone now but over on its east side is a small outpost of Burmese food that I bet would have been approved by the brothers Kellogg as healthy and restorative. The owner greeted me and was phenomenal. She guided me through the small menu and did not steer me wrong. The beef jerky salad had thinly sliced shavings of dried beef that were co-mingled with cabbage, ginger, carrots, cilantro and green onions and dressed with something that involved mild fish sauce and limes. It was fantastic and the longer it sat, the more the dried beef revived. My entree was an energy rice bowl served with exquisite cubes of pork over rice. It also came with a side of a wonderfully flavored cooked pumpkin and a cup of mild lentil soup. All in all the portions were plentiful and I order to go because they were close to closing and a line of storms were pushing through. A neat melange of culinary influences. Show this lady some love! She cooks her heart out for you. A wonderful, wonderful place where you least expect it. And did I mention watermelon juice? Wow. read more

Cute place with a lovely, bubbly owner! She was delightful. Found on best restaurants in Battle Creek search and stopped in for lunch. Loved the samosas and their special tangy chili sauce. Also the energy rice bowl with braised beef stew was the other star of the show. My boyfriend also loved his laphet thote (tea leaf salad) eating it number 3 of the many he's tried around the globe! A hidden gem! I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious--flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. What really made the visit special, though, was the owner and chef. She was incredibly friendly, upbeat, and genuinely passionate about sharing Burmese cuisine. She went out of her way to help us choose the best dishes and made us feel completely welcome. The service overall was excellent, and the atmosphere had a warm, inviting vibe that made it a really enjoyable place to eat. You can tell there's heart behind everything here. Sooooooo good! They are still doing a soft opening and so the dishes they are serving are frequently updated on their Facebook page. Today, they had chicken biryani and some chicken noodles. Both were delicious but the chicken biryani stole the show- the chicken was so flavorful and falling off the bone, the rice also tasted delicious with cashews and raisins. Portion sizes were good. I took my order to go, but they have tables to eat there also. Small and intimate setting. Food was very fast and fresh and hot. I can't wait to try more of their food! read more

I was in town for work and we decided to try Suipi's for dinner. All five of us enjoyed our dinner. It was so good. I had the pork with rice cooked Burmese style. The meat was so tender. I am no expert on Burmese cuisine, but after visiting today we will be back for more! This is a relatively new place, fairly small but nice! Owner is super friendly. Menu seems to have a couple regular favorites along with some rotating daily specials. Food was an interesting mix, all very good, with large portions and reasonable prices. This cuisine is a mix of many styles, with Indian, Thai, and Chinese influences. Definitely a great place to broaden your food horizons, highly recommended! read more
