You can probably find accommodation of similar quality as Suite Home's, but I doubt you will find the same level of care and rigor as the Suite Home's team. I cannot say enough good things about their team. Right from find the right apartment to my experience moving it to service requests the team was on top of their game. Want to move the reservation date - no problem, have a service request - get it addressed really fast at the time that is convenient for you. I had an issue with my internet speed, they got someone to check it out. Because I was inconvenienced for a day, my internet speed was upgraded (Wow!). Right from checkin to checkout, everything was a smooth experience. I stayed at Marquee at Block 37 which was an incredible apartment. Huge shout out to - Erica for being my point of contact for anything I needed during my stay, Jenny for catering to all my service requests at a blazing fast speed, Matthew for helping my find the right apart and Alexis for helping me with billing. Disappointed with the service. Where should I start... First of all the property they contracted was very mismanaged. Fobs not working half the time etc. The guy who greeted me when I first arrived was pretty rude and in a rush. The room although spacious, was not too functional. Clearly they hadn't put too much thought on function, but they tried to make it look nice only. The chairs and the couch were pretty filthy, I was avoiding sitting during my stay. The maid service was once every two weeks. They didn't bother responding when I reached out. I wonder why would anyone go to them and not go to a hotel or an AirBnB - it will be cheaper, better, and without the headaches. read more

Amazing...home away from home! Suite Home takes comfort to another level. Suite Home provided accommodations for our family at the Marquee, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The unit was very clean and spacious, and completely furnished with all the basics (i.e. kitchenware, washer/dryer, etc.) and also had all TVs equipped with Roku for added comfort. The Marquee was in the Loop, directly adjacent to State Street and within very close walking distance to Millennium Park (the Bean) and Michigan Avenue. Could not have asked for a better location. While everything was wonderful, the absolute BEST feature was the view...it was BEAUTIFUL! My stay with Suite Home was flawless from check-in to check-out! The apartment (505 N. State) had everything needed to make it a "home away from home" even things I would never think about needing like a Brita filter! With COVID causing us to be nomadic, it was the perfect place to be for a month. It provided a place to live, work and workout--and the view made it all even better! It was close to grocery stores, public transportation and even shared amenities with a hotel (gym and indoor pool). I think my dogs enjoyed it as much as me! Would not recommend staying on their properties for an extended period of time. Staying at a hotel will save you more money. I've traveled all over the US for work the past 2 years, and I've honestly had one of the most uncomfortable experiences with this staff at a very expensive cost. The room & amenities are nice. However, a bi-weekly cleaning time was chosen for me, the time didn't work for me & they told me I could opt out. When asked to change the cleaning date, they could not accommodate anything but a Monday. They didn't offer me another time to work with my schedule. So I have received 0 cleaning of my room. I've had to clean sheets/towels on my own accord. I am also paying for a one-bedroom and it is very small. Too expensive for the square footage you get in the room. Finally, I was met with rude remarks & a strict tone when I asked questions about price & a cleaning date change. From my experience, the communication between the staff is severely lacking and so is their kindness. I am truly flabbergasted by the way this business is run. read more

Suite Home was attentive as a landlord. The Crate and Barrel furnishings were towards the end of their useful life but still minimally comfortable. Sofa was sat out. Dining set up ok. To their credit, they did change out a mattress at our request. However, the State and Grand apartments location was terrible. It seemed to be well located with subway, and shopping nearby but during the pandemic it was rife with crime, transients, panhandlers and noise. The lease mentioned noise from the entertainment district but omitted any mention of a six bay Fire Station just one block way. Sirens ran day and night!! read more

Where to begin. This is the first review I've ever written and it had to be done to protect whoever sees this from using suite home Chicago. We arrived to our unit #206 at MILIEU from LA on 4/9 with a 3 month lease. I wanted to see the unit before committing to longer. Upon arrival there was no welcome or any sort of help from SHC. The unit was filthy with hairs everywhere and leftover underwear from the previous tenant. We went about our weekend and everything was fine. Monday came along and at 8am we were abruptly woken up with LOUD construction noise. We complained 3 days straight. The communication was awful and they took hours to respond and told me they didn't know about it, there was nothing they could do, and they cant move my unit. They finally agreed to a discount that I demanded several times because I was furious. They assured me the construction was supposed to end April 1 but that it will 100% be over may 1 now. Construction remained constant throughout each day, and to this day June 9, it remains. I bought a brand new bed 2 weeks into our stay because the bed was rock hard and my back couldn't handle it anymore. Each request I have put in has taken multiple phone calls to get an answer. The front desk takes my name and number and says they'll call back shortly and never does. Our building has reservations for the pool/bbq/other amenities as well as building events. We are unable to do this through suite home and we never find out anything that goes on around the building. For convenience sake I asked to extend through July since I need to be in Chicago and didnt want to move my stuff for 20 days and they told me the rate will be increased. We are paying too much as is for this small and VERY DARK unit. After all of the issues we've had and construction STILL going on, they refused to budge. I strongly advise nobody ever rents out this unit 206 at milieu due to the darkness and current construction which they will deny knowing about or do anything about it. I have been in need to find a place to stay in Chicago on a monthly basis. That turns out to be harder than I anticipated because most of the apartments will only do six-month or longer leases. But eventually I have found several companies that specialize in monthly leasing. Suite Home is among the names recommended to me. Some companies have been helpful and I am excited to have found some really good units. In my searching process, I started to notice one thing: that is, the quality of the apartment or leasing management organizations is highly correlated to the way they responded. Some are so helpful no matter whether it is a good fit. Others have employees working remotely to answer your questions but trying hard to be helpful. It is a major tell to me. ...In that regard, Suite Home Chicago comes in dead last. It is the only company that simply does not responded, after many voice messages, emails, and text messages for 5 days. The strange thing is each time I called, the person would forward me to a voice message system without letting me talk. Really frustrating because it's web site has units that might be a good fit. I have given up on them and lamented the time wasted contacting them. One the bright side , at least I know I have found a good one from another firm. read more

When we traveled to Oak Park to visit a sick family member, we were in need of accommodations to house seven people. I spotted a house with five bedrooms that appeared to suit our needs. Located in a quiet residential area with easy access to downtown and our son's house, it served us well. The house was immaculate and very well stocked. There were several steps to the attic bedroom and the two downstairs rooms; we assigned the younger family members to these. The teenagers were delighted to have their own rooms. The kitchen was nice and well stocked for any amount of cooking one wished to do, along with a lovely dining room for sit down meals. The comfortable living room and sun room allowed for plenty of space to suit everyone's needs. We also appreciated having full size laundry facilities as we packed light. Everyone left the house after four nights with good memories of our temporary home. read more

I lived in Chicago temporarily for about 6 months, both at Randolph Tower and Mila. SHC is AMAZING and really went out of their way to accommodate me if I EVER had any issue or problem come up with the apartment (maintenance, extend my contract, etc) or absolutely anything at all. If I come to Chicago in the future for a temporary time again I will use them for sure. I felt like I was on a vacation with the luxury apartments they provide, the cleaning service (included), and the furniture in the apartment. My friends came to visit from Cleveland and I wanted them to be able to stay in the city instead of with me in the suburbs. The apartment that they stayed in was great. They have thought of everything that you could need during your stay. The building was nice and it was only 2 blocks from Michigan Ave. There was a grocery store and a restaurant in the building and they could walk anywhere that they wanted. The friends did not want to leave the apartment. They have already requested to stay there when they come back. I think that you can use the fitness facilities in the building while you stay there. The rates are really reasonable compared to what you would pay to stay in a hotel in the area and you would not even have as much room. read more

I've used SHC twice. The first time I stayed at 215 West and this time at The Marquee. I loved my unit at The Marquee. Great layout, an advanced washer/dryer in unit, kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils/tools (more than the essentials), and the bed and couch were incredibly comfortable. Our family of 7, 4 children, 1 large breed dog had the opportunity to stay in one of Suite Home Chicago's finest apartments for the month of June. My husbands relocation company found them and every single thing about this stay exceeded our expectations. The service of the building we were in, The Coast, was exceptional, the view we had was spectacular and when we were in need of something or had a question someone was always there to answer and help. Underground spacious parking, three large bedrooms, three amazing bathrooms, laundry in the unit, drycleaning in the building, an amazing outdoor pool, indoor sauna and spa, and a cleaning service as our disposal. We spent 13 years in Chicago and were very sad to leave our home but this made the move all that much easier.
