I would say its very average. The suits look very good and expensive which they kind of are.. around $600 for suit, shirt and tie. However, buttons fall off, sleeves are starting to fray, clasps on pants breaks, these are work suits so they are worn often but I still thought they would hold up better than this. Update: Suit arrived today, approximately 5 days after writing this review (weekend in the middle). Sometimes they are very fast. Suits are fine, a cut above places like Men's Warehouse or Jos A. Bank or something. But customer service is hit or miss, and can be HORRIBLE. I got a custom suit fitted by Omar and the entire experience since walking out of the store has been terrible. First, he put the suit under the wrong "profile" so I couldn't even track it online. This store was near impossible to reach by phone. It was only through the help of corporate customer service that I finally got through to them. They got it "fixed", but then Omar must have forgotten to put my address in the order when he redid it, because I got an e-mail today saying it was shipped to the store. When the Assistant Manager e-mailed me the first time, I replied with my address to confirm it would be shipped to me. It was ignored with no response. I called again today to ask them to ship it to me, and they said they would, but I can't help but predict another screw up. The guy (Austin) seemed helpful enough, and really was the most helpful person besides corporate customer service so far. You're better off going to somewhere else just to save the frustration, unless you are buying off the rack and can walk out of the store with the suit in hand. If you do decide to go here, be very picky with who helps you. I'm sure some associates are fine or great, but getting the wrong person will just screw everything up and you'll be worried about paying hundreds of dollars with no suit to show for it. read more

Had my first SuitSupply experience and absolutely loved it. Cory Jordan helped us out the moment we walked in, and made the experience so enjoyable and actually fun. He spent a lot of time explaining the options and was very informative and patient while helping me put together a handful of semi-custom suits. I have to wear a suit everyday and have been to a bunch of other suit stores and normally dread it. Cory made it to where I can't wait to go back and get more suits. I'm hooked. What made it better is he was great a putting together sharp fashion options that I can also mix and match with a wide variety of shirts/ties. The weight and fit of the suit going to be perfect for my daily use, while still looking modern and stylish, and most importantly so comfortable. This is a rave review for Carlos! I went to this suit supply location with my fiance last Saturday. After much patience and effort to help us find the perfect wedding suit in both size and pattern, they were unfortunately out of stock in our selection. We were impressed with Carlos' personable and helpful customer service approach. He helped us broaden our options with various styles, giving great feedback along the way. We very much appreciated his transparency and willingness to refer to his peers and management team when he was unsure about something. He was able to do so in a very professional manner, never inconveniencing our experience whatsoever. THIS is great customer service! Poor Service, Decent Product Terrible service. Purchased several suits, shirts, and button-downs, some of which needed to be ordered to the store. Store was late with Tailoring on two occasions, resulting in excessive and inconvenient trips. Additionally, one of the items that needed to be ordered was ordered in the wrong size, and then the replacement was misplaced/lost. Despite being told the store would take care of it, my reply message to the store manager was never returned. Clothing and leather goods are of decent quality, but the poor service isn't worth the time. If I was a guy, I would get my suit from Suitsupply, no questions asked. My boyfriend postponed receiving a birthday gift for months just so he can get a suit from Suitsupply once it opened. This place is nice! Very clean, sleek, and modern looking. There is a room full of suits, but someone will assist you very quickly so that you're not overwhelmed. The first time I came, Christian helped my boyfriend out. He was really good about explaining what to look for in a suit and recommending a suit without any biases. My boyfriend ended up getting the Sienna because it fit him the best with the least amount of alterations. All he needed was a hem and they did that in store fairly quickly. I was so satisfied with the experience the first time around that I convinced my brother, who was initially insistent on getting a suit from Men's Warehouse or Jos A Banks, to get one from Suitsupply instead. As a side note, my brother is extremely stubborn, impatient, and short-tempered, and convincing him to go to Suitsupply was hard enough. I don't remember who was helping him this time around, but he was extremely patient with my brother. However, being how stubborn he is, not only did we spend twice the amount of time on him, but we had not two, not three, but FOUR store associates help him out. I was sitting on the side just shaking my head the whole time. But with amazing customer service, my brother ended up also getting the Sienna. I honestly don't know the difference when it comes to suits, but I can tell Suitsupply offers top-notch quality. After doing extensive research online, I knew that I wanted to get a suit from Suitsupply. The problem was that there wasn't one in Dallas but their website said one was opening soon. I waited over half a year before finally cashing in my birthday gift from my girlfriend and I was completely satisfied with my suit and shopping experience. So what separates a Suitsupply suit from one found at more common stores such as Men's Wearhouse, Jos A Bank, or Macy's? The main factors would be the material, construction, fit, and price of the suit. Suitsupply uses premium materials, imported from wool mills in Italy that have been in existence for 150+ years. You are going to get a 100% wool suit. Cheaper suits will be made up of a mixture of wool and other synthetic materials, such as polyester. Of course, being made of higher quality material not only makes the suit look better but it also makes it feel better and last much longer. If you're spending hundreds of dollars on a suit, you want it to still look good decades from now, and you won't really get that with a synthetic suit. As far as construction goes, a suit jacket is made of two layers. What's inside that holds these two layers together determines the construction of the jacket. Cheap suits (and even some expensive designer label ones) are fused together by glue. Fused suits won't drape over the body well and won't mold into the wearer's shape over time (it is glue after all). Worse yet, excessive heat from dry cleaning can actually melt the glue inside, forever ruining the suit. All Suitsupply suits are at least half-canvassed, with their more luxurious line being fully canvassed. Here, horsehair fibers are stitched into the middle layer of the jacket, giving it a nice bouncy and drapey look that will mold to the wearer's body over time. Canvassed suits are a mark of high quality as the process is very tedious compared to simply gluing the layers together. Suitsupply offers an inordinate amount of fits that I won't get into here, but the big takeaway is that their fits are much more modern and slim compared to other traditional stores. If you're of average body build and you go to Men's Wearhouse, you are expecting to have numerous alterations done on your suit to get it to a nice slim fit. The tailoring charges will quickly add up, plus you run the risk of ruining the suit because of so many needed alterations. Suitsupply offers suits that are naturally slim with slim tapered pants as well. Jackets can actually fit perfectly off the rack. You'd be able to save the money that would've gone towards tailoring if you bought a cheap bulky suit. Now put that all together and without a doubt, Suitsupply is the best bang for your buck in terms of buying a suit. A 100% wool, canvassed suit can easily run over a $1000, but Suitsupply blue line suits start out at just $399. That's even cheaper than most suits at Jos A Bank. You can't really get this type of quality for this price anywhere. So as for my review itself, the store is very nice and modern. I felt like I was in menswear heaven and my girlfriend was in interior design heaven. Shopping here is more like having a fashion consultant help you instead of browsing on your own. We were helped immediately by Christian, who really knew his stuff. He took his time in putting different jackets on me and telling me what worked and what didn't. When you go to the fitting room, they will provide you with a dress shirt and shoes so that you get an accurate fit. The Sienna fit my body the best, and I ended up just needing a hem on my pants. The jacket fit perfectly. My suit was ready in only 20 minutes, but if I needed more alterations done, they still have a quick turnaround of only 3 days. Came by here this afternoon to find a suit for my fiancé and left very happy! We were greeted by Megan who was super helpful and incredibly personable! My fiancé spent about an hour trying on different suits, ties, etc. and Megan was right there happy to help the whole time. They carry a vast supply of different color, fabrics and styles of suits. They even have an in-house tailor and a tie wall! The dressing rooms are uber roomy and they also have plenty of well dressed mannequins around if you're like me and need more visual help when choosing outfits! Terrible service & tailoring experience! I went to Suitsupply and spent over $1000 on a new suit. The whole experience has been a disaster. First of all I don't believe they took my measurements correctly that's resulting in them ordering the wrong size jacket and pants. They never notified me that my jacket and pants had arrived. I received an email saying the jacket had arrived but I was unsure about the pants so I called the Suitsupply Dallas location and apparently it routes you to a call center. They were not able to check the store stock and see if my order had been delivered. So I ended up waiting another week or two and then went into the store and that's when the problems begin. When I went to have alterations, custom ordered Jacket and pants did not fit! They then charged me an additional alteration fee of $49 which I argued about the price since I already paid for alterations however they would not waive the charge. The suit and pants were wrinkled and not worth $1000. I will never shop here again and I won't recommend Suitsupply to anyone in the future. It's very sad because I used to work with Austin at this location a few years ago and it was an amazing experience. They just don't care anymore and this company is going to fail because they don't care about their customers. Beware! read more

I came in on a Saturday and the brand manager, Berthram, personally guided me to select the perfect suit. He took the time to show me the selection, and gave me advice on choosing the best suit for my occasion. It was easy to tell that he and his staff are pros. Before walking into the store, I did a lot of research including reading fashion articles to suit forums, and watching online videos. All of the major aspects of the modern suit that I wanted was there, and it was evident that Berthram was an expert as he would explain to me some of the subtleties that many people would overlook when picking out a suit. He allowed me to try on the suits, took my measurements, and gave me suggestions on completing the look. The suit I purchased was: -Navy, super 110's Italian wool, half canvas -Single breasted, 2 button, twin vent, and notched lapel -Real breast pockets, straight flap pockets, surgeon's cuffs -Pants were slim, well fitting and non-pleated When I slipped my arms through the armholes of the jacket, I knew that I wouldn't find a better fitting suit than this. The fabric seemed to hug my body without being constricting. The fabric was soft, smooth, and had a nice sheen. The suit needed some minor alterations for it to fit perfectly so I entrusted my suit to the on-site tailor. My husband has spent quite a bit of time in both the New York and Chicago stores buying countless suits - where we both have received the best customer service. Walked into the Dallas store only be ignored completely while employees were too busy flirting with one another at the desk. Due to this poor service we walked out when we typically buy a few suits each and every visit. All stores are certainly not created equal and it makes us question purchasing when we are in the other stores. read more

I want to context this by saying I value what I write and review so I rarely do unless it's amazing or completely disastrous. Most of the suits at SS are very contemporary and the colors too forward that I won't be able to wear at work, but I love their marketing and quality for value that I've visited and bought suits from this location a handful of times. And have never had an issue. I'm extremely annoyed and dissatisfied right now at how the employee and the tailor handled this situation. My job and the firm I work for requires me to be in a suit and tie to work every single day. After this experience, I will neither shop NOR recommend this location to any of my colleagues and friends. This is in regards to their tailoring service. I came in on Monday to drop off a suit to be tailored. Got the measurements pinned precisely and was told it would be ready by Friday after 1 PM. Friday rolls around and I go in (after the time I was told) to pick up my suit only to be told, after 15 minutes of one of the employees walking around and speaking with the tailor, that the suit hasn't even been "touched" yet. At this point I'm annoyed because when you tell me a date and time to pick it up I expect it to be ready by then. It is what it is, so I then ask when it would be ready and I'm speaking to the tailor at this point, and she goes "when do you need the suit by?" I tell her I needed it now, but since that's not an option I again ask when it will be ready. THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE QUESTION. She then starts questioning me as to why I need the suit so soon, SHES LIKE OH YOU REALLLLY NEED IT THEN?!?! WHY? IN THE MOST PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE CONDESCENDING TONE, and starts probing WHAT I need it for. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Don't start questioning when, why and for what reason I need my suit right now because YOU NEED more time because you HAVENT even gotten to doing it. I FINALLY get her to tell me a time and date and she says 6 PM tomorrow and at this point I'm so over this that I say ok and walk out. I've stepped out of the office for a quick minute to pick my suit up and didn't want to waste any more time then I'd already had. There used to be a gentleman who was the tailor - - this man was wonderful and was always prompt and did fantastic work. I have not seen him recently and it looks like he's been replaced by some RUDE ill-tempered lady. If you want better quality suits at a greater value, I ADVISE you check out Oliver Wicks and Spier and Mackay. They BOTH have fantastic suits cut from the finest Italian mills and can often be had for LESS than SS, especially when they're on sale. I have suits from both companies as well as Suit Supply and although it's nice to go into a store to try on a suit, if you know your size the fits from both places are on par, if not better.
