I handed the woman my repair alteration before stepping into the fitting room to put the pants on so they could mark them. I fully expected to leave the repair alteration with them for a few days along with the pants, but I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped back out of the fitting room area because the woman handed me back my garment with the stitch repair completed & did not charge me for it. I've also had more complicated alterations done to a wool coat & trust them with my garments. I also appreciate their follow up to make sure that their tailoring was done to my satisfaction after I've taken them home.

One was finishing up and heading into her dressing room. The other was in her dressing room about to go in from of the mirrors. During this transition, the young Asian man never acknowledged me walking in or taking a seat. The Second Lady went into her fitting room. The First Lady came out. The guy goes behind the counter. Still nothing... for the 3 minutes I sat there, no one said a word to me and there was another person in the back.... There is NO WAY I'd spend my money with people that won't even look at me or acknowledge my presence in the store. Maybe another black person should go in and see if they have the same experience.

It was almost as if she asked me when I needed it by just to tell me that it would take a week longer than that, and she could only get it done in time if she charged me extra $ - totaling $25. Felt like she was taking advantage... I left and went to Red Carpet Tailor in Lakewood instead - they offered to have it done same day and basically at no charge because it was such a simple request.
