Great little Thai hole in the wall with very reasonable prices.

Despite kind of flavorless chicken satay, the place is quite good! And I like to call it Suck Ho, because seriously, the name looks drrrty. I got my Thai usual of Pad See Ew which wasn't too greasy, the right level of spiciness, and more than enough for leftovers. Thai tea was as good as any I've had. The waitress was openly amused when my bf ordered his food at the highest level of spiciness which I thought was cute; it was like on Modern Family when Cam orders the really spicy Colombian food and the waiter is like "this is not for you." Both meals concluded with both Cam and my bf becoming really sweaty and admitting that it was indeed super hella hot. Suck Ho brings the heat! read more

Wonderful little hidden gem! The ladies who Owen the restaurant were so very friendly and helpful with telling us about the menu items. My husband who is not s big fan of the Asian, Thai type foods, actually left here very happy and more importantly willing to come back. read more

Go on Friday when the fresh spring rolls are available. Steamed fish is great and healthy to boot. Spicy noodles and sweet soy noodles with chicken are our go-to favorites. Major bonus - it's BYOB. It's kid friendly but there is no kids menu - best bet is to get fried rice for the table and let the kiddos share. read more

The curry and soup there was very good. Very flavorful and spicy. I ordered the red and peneung curry and got it Thai spicy. It was spicy but not as spicy as I would like it, otherwise I would have gave them a 5 star. It is a very small place and had only one person running the tables. The order did take awhile to come out. Besides that, it was very flavorful and authentic. I would recommend this place to any Thai food lover. read more

Some friends and my wife and I had dinner Saturday night here and it was simply wonderful. I have been fortunate to have lived in Thailand and in Asia for several years and I must admit that I have had nothing that surpasses the food two nights ago. I wish I had something good to say..... We tried Sukho a few years ago and it was less than we were used to - tried again today and we wont be back. Very bland watery curry and soup - beef was very tough. If you want good Thai try somewhere else - I really felt betrayed for having to pay $15 for the food when Arlington has so many other great restaurants. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in DFW. Pineapple curry, spicy lemon soup, and pad thai are all excellent. Environment is understated and more elegant than other places and the prices are reasonable. Service is friendly. Oh and if you like spicy food, watch out. I eat habaneros but once could barely finish a dish here because I ordered level Thai hot. Now I stick to medium and it's got the fire but still edible. read more

Sukho Thai is wonderful! Hands down the best Thai food in DFW. We have been coming here for over 15 years now weekly. We have since became friends with the owners. Every year the owners invite us over for Chinese New Year Celebration! To top it off.... I even had my Rehearsal Dinner here before my wife Nina, and I got married! WE LOVE SUKHO THAI!!! read more

The place doesn't look very charming, I didn't notice however it was extremely clean which is more important. We had chicken satay for appetizer although the chicken was good it lacked a little flavor and the peanut sauce was just plain peanut butter , lacked any other flavors. I ordered pineapple curry which was to die for the best I've had in a long time... and I love Thai food and eat it all the time. However I must say The dinner portions are extremely small, chicken satay consisted of six skewers that were each one bite sized. Also the dishes like curry that I've had before normally come with the meat of choice and some type of vegetable most of the times with onions and bell peppers , but here it was just the meat. But again the flavor was absolutely amazing It had so much punch to it, I asked for it hot and it was perfectly hot as an spicy. Overall I would say I would have to come back just because the curry was so good besides that the decor and atmosphere is not very nice, portions are wayy too small , I left hungry. read more

When this Thai restaurant first opened, I think my girls and I went at least once a week! North Arlington finally had a Thai restaurant! Fast forward 20 years or so, and Arlington has many Thai places and Sukhothai has competition. That being said, the portions are small (now comparatively!) prices are ridiculously high, and the quality leaves something to be desired--especially since now they're not the only place in town. The very last time I went in there (even brought them my own home grown fresh Thai Basil cuttings!) I was very disappointed in the food and not even a thank you for my "gift". Do some research on yelp. I won't say the name of another place that is far superior, but keep searching...Sukhothai needs to step up their game to keep in business. Good luck! read more

This is a pretty good little Thai restaurant in Arlington. I don't think it can be seen from the road but it's in a Tom Thumb shopping center on the NW corner of Fielder and Randol Mill. This was my first taste of Thai food and it was the reason I became addicted to Thai! Having said that, it seems to be designed mostly for the American tastebuds... authentic it is not (sweet and sour fish anyone??) but sometimes that's okay. [ I lived in Thailand 3 years so I believe my opinion is valid ; ) ] I think the thing that sets this place apart from others is the ambiance. It's pretty small and has more of a "romantic" feel to it than other Thai restaurants in the area. Getting in on the weekend or Friday night can be a chore some of the time, however. Anyone with a desire to "crossover" from Chinese food should give this place a chance. Not the best in the area, but certainly good! read more

I was told about this place by a coworker and I check yelp and it had good reviews, so I thought it would be a good place to try out. I order Pad Thai (something simple). My thought is if they cannot make Pad Thai then this is not a good place to eat at. Once I order my food (this was during lunch hour), it took about 3mins for them to bring it out. Also the cook and two waitresses decide to take their lunch brake also and were eating next to me at a table. When I tried my food the noodles were under cooked or stale so i motion to the waitress to come to my table and I told her that my noodles were under cooked or stale and she looked at the cook and the cook said that they were not under cooked or stale. Also the they had way too much Pad Thai sauce on the noodles. The food was horrible!!!! They did not offer to bring me another plate or anything. So I asked for my bill and left. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. read more

Not terrible, but not that good either. The green curry was passable, although I don't think broccoli belongs in green curry. The Thai fried rice was not very good, we said make it as spicy as possible but it wasn't spicy at all. The flavor was off as well. I can make fried rice better! Also the tofu was cut after it was fried- lazy. Good tofu is nice and chewy and fried on all sides! Service was ok, if a bit slow. Need to work on the food though! read more

Second visit, ordered beef noodles with gravy. So delicious. Good portion for $9.95 - not a huge Texas portion, but just right. Fried spring rolls and shrimp wontons also good. Great service - wasn't overly bothered, but came around often enough for refills. Great food, great price. Small dining area, but quiet and private. read more

This our favorite Thai place not only in the metroplex but by far any where we've been in Seattle, Vancouver, Denton etc. they use lots of herbs and spices and love every thing I've tried. First of all, I'm a big fan of Thai food and this place was very good, however, the service is VERY SLOW. My boyfriend and I waited a little over an HOUR for fried rice! Our shrimp roll appetizer even took a really long time to come out. The waiter didn't come by to check on us very often even though we were seated right by the counter. There were only two other sets of customers, probably 6 people in the whole place!! I understand it is a small, family owned business but it was also a Friday night so you think they would be on their A-game. Disappointed because I wouldn't mind spending $40 on dinner here if I could just get it in a timely manner. read more

Haven't been here in several years, and previously was NOT a fan, but met a friend there yesterday who wanted Thai. Had the cashew chicken. It was really really good. I mean really good. So good that I am ordering take out of the same dish tonight. They offer organic brown rice for $3, which I got (even though I think that is way excessive for rice, even if it IS organic). The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it was really too hot inside (it is Texas July so I understand that) and they kicked us out at 1:30pm saying they were closing (we had eaten, were just chatting at that point). We've eaten here for many years and it's our go-to Thai place. My wife gets spicy fried rice with either chicken or tofu and I'll usually go for massaman curry. I've taken friends there who've ordered other dishes and everyone has been more than satisfied. Great appetizers and Thai tea as well. read more
