Is it love? DEFINITELY. Since receiving a facial from Tanya, I thought a lot about skin care. The "wash face and hope for the best" routine was now unrealistic. Tanya had recommended Dermaquest products, which I used for a week while remaining conflicted about the crazy chemical ingredients and animal byproducts in them. What I needed was something compatible with both personal ethics and skin health. After doing much online research, it was clear Suki Pure Skin Care met all of my criteria: a. organic and natural vegan products that work (except for some creams containing beeswax), b. not tested on animals; c. 20-50 dollars; d. raving reviews; e. all products are food-grade, meaning if I accidentally get it in my mouth I won't need to call poison control center. Next step was deciding how to purchase the products. The first choice was to buy directly from the company via its website. However, Federal Express shipping alone was 17 dollars. Makeup.com offered free shipping offer but my skin was in a state of emergency. I ended up buying Lemongrass Cleanser, White Willow Facial Toner and Blue Chamomile & Echinacea Facial Serum from Whole Foods. They were about a dollar more than Suki Pure Skin Care's website. Upon returning home, I busted through the door, passed the startled boyfriend and ran straight into the bathroom with bottles in hand. Then, there was bliss. I was in love. The Lemongrass Cleanser smelled and tasted so delicious (Yes, "tasted". It was an accident! -- Hence the need for food grade products) Not to mention, it felt amazing as it worked its magic. Best of all, my face was as soft as a baby's after rinsing. I dashed over to Nathan and made him sniff and touch my face. He agreed that it was worth rejoicing over. I dashed back to the bathroom and used the toner. It smelled a little weird but felt soothing. To my further amazement, one drop of facial serum immediately moisturized the entire face into velvet smoothness. I was sold. These three Suki Pure Skin Care products complete the most agreeable skin care routine on Earth, to which I look forward to day and night. Although the bottles are small, just a little bit of product is enough to cover the entire face. This stuff can turn anyone into a skin care enthusiast, even someone as lazy as me. Now excuse me while I skip over to the bathroom to wash my face. It's that time again! **UPDATE 04/30/08: I got hands on some SukiColor Mineral Active Moisturizer, liquid concealer, and Bright complexion Moisture Masque last night. Quick summary: 1. The tinted moisturizer (with natural SPF) was so light that it felt/looked like nothing was on. No more cake-face! 2. The concealer is a little light for my skin tone but did cover very well. 3. These products are vegetarian and not vegan. Contain beeswax. 4. Bright Complexion Moisture Masque ROCKS. Seriously! I wanted to keep it on forever. 5. Non-synthetic, almost animal byproduct free (beeswax), green packaging, organic and magically effective. I have no qualms about the price (under $50). 6. I should write this for makeup.com instead but I'm lazy. I ordered the products from makeup.com with 20% off and free shipping. An overall 30 dollars saving over ordering directly from Suki Pure. Suki Skin care is awesome. 100% all natural. I have tried both the White Willow facial toner ($25) and the eye tissue repair ($27.50).... When I was in my teens, I never thought of skincare as something that is a life long commitment. I laid out in the sun, partied all night without washing my face or used crap makeup. I didn't care. As I made my way into my 20's, I realized no matter what type of skin you have now, taking care of it is a commitment, as what you do in your 20's will show on your face starting in your late 30' early 40's. So, I wash it every night and use good for you products from lines such as Suki. This shows you don't have to spend $$$ on your skincare. The Suki eye tissue repair is great as the area around your eyes and mouth do not create their own moisture. This has Rose Hip oil in it and heals and soothes the skin in the area. The White Willow is also great as it is not only Vegan but an anti-inflammatory for many conditions. Start taking care of your skin now. Sunscreen every day and at night some type of Retinoid to promote cell turnover. I am hoping to be as wrinkle free as I can be once I (GULP) head to my 30's and beyond........ read more

terrible customer service. Have been a long time loyal customer. Bought the exfoliate cleanser last year as part of a buy one get one promotion. Just got around to opening the second jar (expiration date on the box is 10/15) and the contents were rock solid. The seal was intact so it was clearly a product quality issue. Emailed your customer service and was told that because I didn't complain within 30 days of the purchase they couldn't replace it. There's no way I could have opened the second jar (that I bought because of YOUR promotion) within that 30 day window. I was a loyal customer, but no more - I won't use or recommend your products anymore. read more

I've used suki products for over 5 years now and I would never use anything else! I had horrible dermatitis that wouldn't respond to anything and then got the suki butter cream and the sugar cleanser which actually cleared my skin right up! They're commitment to quality and purity goes way above other brands out there (and they last forever) and I've tried a ton! I've never gotten better results that I can rely on - I'm just a huge fan of what they stand for. I don't know exactly what this Tami person means by "ridiculous" because I for one don't think it's ridiculous to be committed to purity, integrity and putting out products that are honest, support local economies and actually work! read more

BEWARE! TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY, RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and ACNE CAUSING PRODUCTS! Overall, I've had a horrible experience with this company. I had a bad breakout caused by this product line. I ordered a sample kit for acne prone skin. I was about a couple days/ midway through the small sample pack and thought the products were nice. Since it took quite awhile for my sample kit to arrive in the mail, I went ahead and ordered full sizes so that I'd have them in time before my samples ran out. Sadly, soon after reordering, my skin broke out with tiny white heads all over my face. (I'm normally a cystic acne suffer so the tiny whiteheads were very surprising to see.) Since I don't wear makeup I knew immediately that it was Suki. (The only product I was using on my face.) As soon as I stopped using the products my skin cleared. Again, it took quite awhile for my new order to arrive and by the time it did, I had been off the Suki Skin products and my skin was beginning to clear. I contacted Suki about a return after my order arrived and I never opened the bottles. I should have read the RETURN policy because they don't offer refunds, only store credit. Normally, I'd have no issue with store credit but in this case, with a horrible break out reaction to this line of skin care, store credit does NOT make sense for me. The customer service representative was cold and inconsiderate when I explained my situation of my reaction to their products. They told me they could do nothing but give me store credit. For unopened product. Less than 30 days of receiving. So, over $100 later, I'm stuck with store credit for a company that I would NEVER support because of their policies and lack of personal empathy and ethic but most of all I'm stuck with store credit for a company that doesn't care about me or the effects it's products have on my body.
