I went here after a long day of having low tire pressure because I destroyed my valve! After work I decided to stop by and see what could be done. The gentleman at the desk, (Mr.Winn I Believe), was super professional and greeted me immediately. I thought they would be able to put air in the tire without replacing the valve, it could not be done. I was nervous about getting swindled as most people tend to be, he said it was only $30 to replace! they did it under an hour!!! He stated because of how the valve broke it affected the tps. but they fixed it! 100% recommend. would definitely go back for my tire needs. legit! read more

STAY AWAY!!! I brought my 2017 wrangler here because it was overheating and it would not blow out hot air. I was initially told $79 to diagnose the problem. I then receive a call that it will be another $500 to remove the head gasket to properly diagnose the car and was told I may need a short block which would cost me a couple thousand. I then said forget it and picked up my jeep but was charge $190 for the diagnostic which it was not diagnosed so your welcome Sullivan tire for my donation. I then take it to a small shop down the street from them and the car was diagnosed and fixed that same day (Water pump) and it cost me $407 in total. So again Stay Away from this place I would never recommend anyone to Sullivan they are a bunch of thieves and hacks. read more

I am writing this review based on an experience I had on 11/21/21. I have been a customer of this particular Sullivan Tire location since January 2014. Customer service has always been pretty meh. Nothing to write home about and nothing to complain about either. In recent years, I have noticed the quality in customer service begin to dwindle, but never enough for me to feel the need to write a review until that fateful appointment in November. I came in first thing in the morning (8am) to drop off my car for 4 new tires and an oil change. I informed the customer service representative that I wanted to keep my back left tire as I had it replaced only six months prior and wanted to hold onto it as a back up. The CSR told me he would make sure to tell the tech to keep that tire and that it would be bagged up and placed in the trunk of my car. I was informed that my car would be ready by 3pm which was great considering when I scheduled the appointment online I was given confirmation that my car would be ready for pick up at 3:30pm. Instead of waiting around for 7 hours, I was able to get a ride back to my house through the shuttle service provided by Sullivan which was the most positive experience of this whole ordeal. It turned out that the young man giving me the lift back home is a good friend of one of my neighbor's kids. He was pleasant and a safe driver, unfortunately I cannot remember his name. He said he would be able to come back to pick me up once my car was all set. Great! The hours go by and once 3:30pm rolls around I give the shop a call. My car still isn't ready, but should be done by 4pm. I call back and it is still not ready. Finally, I hear back a little after 5pm. Okay, fine. No problem. Could the shuttle come to pick me up? Now, this is where the complaint comes in. The representative is rude throughout our entire conversation. He tells me that they have been working on finishing my car "after hours" and that they are technically closed which means that the shuttle service is no longer running so, no, they cannot come pick me up and I have to "figure it out" or I can come on Monday to pick up my car as they are closed on Sunday and planning on leaving the shop soon. It's Saturday and I'm not planning on leaving my car in their parking lot for a whole ass day on Sunday especially when I have work on Monday. I have a newborn at home and my husband's father is borrowing his car so I have to quickly figure out how I can get to my car before the tech's leave the shop. Luckily, my husband is able to get in touch with a friend and get a ride almost immediately to go pick up my car for me as I'm pretty astonished and livid with how the Sullivan employee spoke to me on the phone. My postpartum rage hormones are on full blast and I'm ready to have some words with this dude, which really does no one any favors and I truly don't want to be an a*hole, guys, I really don't. I'm trying to remind myself that all businesses are short staffed and maybe this employee is stressed out and unhappy about staying late, but still, damn, dude did not have to be so flippant with me. My husband calls me on his way home, he's got the car, but he's confused as to why all of my radio stations are changed, specifically to country and classic rock stations. The tech also failed to bag up the tire I wanted to keep and for some reason my cabin air filter was out and sitting on the passenger seat. The next business day I called and talked to the manager, specifically to get the tire I had wanted to keep. I don't remember his name. He claims my radio stations must have all reset to the original factory settings. I doubt it. He says they always check filters and the tech must have forgot to put it back. Okay. He is able to retrieve the tire I had wanted to keep (which my husband has to pick up two days later on his way home from work). When I mentioned the issue with the shuttle service he confirmed that they don't offer it after a certain time. I told him that was all fine and well, but that my car was supposed to be ready by 3:30pm and the young man who drove me home told me he would be able to pick me up. He checked his records and apologized as he did have it in the system that my car was supposed to be ready for pick up by 3pm. He offers me a free oil change the next time I come in. While the manager I spoke to was polite and apologized for the delay in pick up, it felt like he waved off my concerns about the tech switching my radio stations and the general rudeness of the employee I had interacted with the night before. While I would love to cash in on a free oil change, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I made a mistake and missed the closing time at the Abington location on a Saturday to pick my truck up after getting new tires and their times said they were not open until Monday morning. The manager reached out to me on a sunday, his day off and came out to the store to get my truck out for me. Excellent work on my new tires and even better customer service. read more

Went here for a simple squeak when stopping and turning just came up within the last month. They lost my key yo my car for 20+ minutes when I got there, claimed there was no squeak when driving the car, charged me $170 to just put some lubrication on the calipers for "labor" then go to drive off and still hear the squeak, go back around in a circle to let them know the noise was never fixed nor diagnosed. mechanic comes out and at first says he hears no noise, but eventually says he hears it and says he thinks it could be the material of the brakes which yes could be true but, the process and money this went through when first claimed there was no noise then charging $170 for pretty much nothing just spraying lubricant and then just to say it is the brake pad material from new brakes installed a year or 2 ago when I mentioned it just started making the noise in the last month he seemed shocked, but just ready for the convo to be over, this should have been a pretty routine visit, but ended up being a waste of half of my day and is not a good look for something that should have been pretty cut and dry. I find a lot of times through the years the work is sub par here and they just look for ways to get money in areas that aren't extra difficult or require a lot of labor on their end and the service is almost dismissive and as if you are more of an inconvenience more than anything. read more

They were able to diagnose the problem, replace my tire and send me on my way within an hour and 15 minutes. Pure ripoff, plain and simple. I needed to replace the front tires on my wife's car and was in Rockland, so I called them to see if they had tires I saw on-line. I gave them the tire spec's and told them I was looking for the cheapest tires I could get. I was on their web site while speaking to the office when I gave them the SKU# of the tire off the site. They said they did have it but quoted me a price of $46 more than the site. They wanted $135, the site had $89.00. I told them I would only pay the on-line price, which they said they would honor. I needed the fronts and probably knew the backs were in need as well, but after putting the car on the lift, they said I was in "danger" of driving the car without 4 new tires, not 2. I told the guy not to oversell the sale, I was going to replace them anyway. Before the work was to be started, he came over to go over the bill, which was now ballooned to $598.00, or $150 per tire, with all the little "extras", plus tax. The guy tried to sell me on why I needed this and that and everything else on the bill, in which I told him to get my car off the lift before I blew a fuse. This is typical for places like this, the same with NTB, in which they have try to inflate the bill thinking people are stupid. People in general are feed up with BS like this, or at least I am. My girlfriend had a rough experience here yesterday... She had a flat tire and called to see if they could fix it ...she got there at the time quoted, got a new tire and realignment and was all set. On the way home the car was blatantly pulling to the side, she called them back to tell them it was probably just the road (guessing they think she doesn't know cars cause she's a woman?) got home, I took it around the block and it was absolutely pulling to a side and it wasn't prior to this. She called them again and they told her to come back, she did immediately and it took them AN HOUR AND A HALF to re-realign the tires that they screwed up not even a half an hour ago...the guy at the desk admitted to her that they indeed did not align the suv correctly. We weren't upset that the incident happened.. It was trivial, thing happen ... But it's absolutely insane she had to wait an hour and a half for this to be fixed - don't go here!! read more

Abington location at best proved to be technically incompetent or at worst tried to take advantage of my wife who brought in a leaking tire for repair. Inspection of the tire and wheel revealed a cracked alloy wheel and a screw in the tire located approximately an inch and a half in from the sidewall. They were told the wheel would need to be repaired at a cost of $240 and the tire could not be plugged and would have to be replaced. My wife called me and I requested the Assistant Manager simply put the full spare on the vehicle and I would deal with the tire when I returned from my work trip out of state. Upon return I verified the wheel was cracked and purchased a new OEM wheel on e-bay for $140 (saving $100 on the Sullivan tire repair quote). When the new wheel arrived in I took it and the bad tire to NTB where I was advised there was no problem with patching the tire. NTB plugged the tire, mounted and balanced it on the new rim, and switched it out with the spare tire all for an extremely reasonable cost of $22.00. Obviously Sullivan tire was less than candid on the need to replace the tire. Sullivan Tire & Auto Service would be better served by adopting a policy of honesty with their clients, not trying to rip them off. read more
