Nothing was discussed with me and I did not receive a report about what was "wrong" with my tires replaced in 2022 and brakes replaced in 2023. I also don't appreciate a link for details about my particular service appointment being posted on a global forum for anyone to read, especially while not receiving them myself until my complaint. In addition, in the hour you had my car with no updates to me, the tires were not rotated or pressure checked, as I'd been meaning to do that myself - had the information front and center on my dash to remind myself. The pressure in all were still not equal and were in the same place they were upon dropping off. Fluids were not topped off as I had to fill my empty wiper fluid less than a week after my service. I would have loved the service you promised, but no communication and half the service not done in double the time estimated is why I gave this review.

However, because of ongoing delays and lack of communication between Sullivan Tire and their insurer, Federated Insurance, we were without our car for over a month. Sullivan Tire's handling of this situation has been unacceptable. While their claims representative did reach out regarding lost income, they have refused to honor documented time lost from contracted work and have not covered out-of-pocket costs directly caused by their negligence. Years ago I came here for an oil change and they tried to upsell me for something I didn't need. Luckily I had information from the manufacturer on what type of oil my car required. The shop kept the vehicle for two full weeks. They diagnosed the front right banging noise as being caused by the rear drums and emergency brake cable. They replaced the cable and addressed the drum issue, charging a total of $864. While the price was expensive, I accepted it because I believed I was paying for quality work. After driving the truck home, I parked it for a few days. The following Sunday, while taking my kids to the park, the exact same noise returned--only louder. I immediately called the shop to report the issue. Jason acknowledged that he had dropped the ball due to their high volume of work and instructed me to bring the truck in the following Wednesday, promising he would return it the same day. He was apologetic during this call. On Wednesday, the day of the appointment, I called to inform him that I had attempted to drive the truck to the shop the night before, but the banging had become so loud and sounded so dangerous that I would need to have it towed instead. I asked if the shop had a tow truck. Jason said they did not and recommended using AAA. I called AAA, signed up for a membership, but learned it would not take effect until the following day. I then called Jason back to ask if we could reschedule for the next day to avoid paying approximately $300 out of pocket for a local tow. At this point, Jason's entire demeanor changed. He began shifting blame onto me as if I had done something wrong and repeatedly emphasized that they "didn't hear" the noise while the truck was in their possession--even though I had specifically pointed out the front right location on the initial visit. I had explicitly told them on day one that it could potentially be a ball joint and asked them to fully diagnose the issue and take their time to ensure it was done correctly. Instead, after two weeks, they sent me home with the same problem unresolved, along with an $864 bill for work that did not address the main issue I brought the truck in for. They then proceeded to blame me for the situation. The call ended with Jason stating, "we just aren't right for each other." I have attached a copy of my receipt as proof that the initial reason I brought the truck in was the right front noise. You can clearly see it labeled on the receipt as "Noise in RF, e brake?" This shows that the shop can claim they fixed the issue all they want, but they did not fix the actual problem. They simply assumed it was something else instead of fully diagnosing it. I assume this "I'm sorry, we're just so busy" excuse is one they use often. This shop appears to be unreliable. I have read reviews from other customers whose vehicles were turned around in just one hour, yet this shop could not resolve a front-end banging noise after keeping my truck for two weeks. When I gave them another opportunity to make it right, Jason responded, "to be honest John, even if you drop it off I won't have the time for a week or two." I strongly recommend staying away from this shop due to their poor service and terrible customer service.
