We were on vacation and had just checked out of hotel and received a low tire pressure notification on out run flats. Sullivan tire was nearby so we rolled in with zero pressure in tire. Go there if you really have to. They will always tell you that your car needs extra parts. Always. My regular mechanic takes great care of my car but doen't do tires and alignments, he put new parts on my car, went to sullivans for tires and a wheel alignment. sullivans told me the parts were old or the wrong part. Out of town tried to get a tire plugged on Friday around 2:00 pm the guy said it would be Monday without a appointment! This place is crap don't waste your time or money net here. Ended up going to O'Riley's auto parts and getting a plug kit and plugging the tire my self took 5 minutes tops. I'm sorry I stopped by Sullivan tire and bothered the lazy clowns! I got a call from the store manager apologizing for the wait I had mentioned in my original review. Turns out the guy who checked me in and said he could "squeeze me right in" had only been working there for a week, and highly underestimated the time it would take for me to wait. This was one of the best customer experiences I've ever had, if not the best! While I waited for my brakes to be fixed the manager made me feel like I was at home. People typically drop their car off for this type of repair, but I was unable to do that so I waited in the lobby. The manager was friendly, warm, and so helpful. He even offered me some of his lunch (pre-packaged, covid safe) after I had been waiting a while. Even more, he brought me a paper towel to use as a napkin and a cup of water while I was eating! I felt like family and it was an experience I will never forget. I highly recommend this business!!! read more

I brought my car in for a front end alignment, they call me up hours later and rattle off 14 things that are wrong with my car from engine belt idler to plate light, none of these things had anything to do with front end alignment and I didn't ask them to inspect my vehicle, just alignment. I would never go there again or recommend anyone to go there, it seems they are not able to listen to the customer and do what was asked. read more

I've gone to them mainly out of convenience (I live two minutes down the road). They are overpriced on their tires; I was able to get the same two tires at the mom and pop mechanic I go to for about $50 cheaper. My second issue, and this is the main reason I am rating them so low is I arrived a few minutes before my 9:30 am appointment for an alignment, and they did not take my car in until about 10:25 am. They did not once tell me they were behind, or let me know it was going to be longer than expected. I wouldn't have minded waiting..I could have even walked home while they were working on my car. It was just the inconsideration for making me sit there for twice as long. Other that incident, they are generally very nice, willing to help. But please, communicate with your customers! read more

While Sullivan tire as a company has always treated me well and been very professional, I would not recommend this location. The counter staff was very unprofessional during my visit today and seemed like they could care less about any customers but those already paying. I found a large bolt in my wife's tire and went in to try and find out about getting a comparable tire as Goodyear no longer makes the Nordic. The first guy behind the counter after starting to help me pushed me aside to assist a gentleman who came in the door behind me to pay for and pick up a tire and rim. After helping him the employee disappeared into the rest room for atleast 10 minutes. The other guy sat shuffling papers, looking at me several times without ever offering assistance. I walked out disgusted. I would still suggest giving Sullivan your business but if possible try and avoid this location at all costs. read more

My engine light came on and my transmission started slipping. I made an appointment online and posted the reason for the appointment was 1) engine light on 2) transmission is hesitating. I came in for an 11 am appointment. I repeated the reason for bringing in the car. I also mentioned the left front tire was making a rubbing noise and added that the car was due to be inspected. They called me back around 3:30 pm. They said 1) they inspected it and 2) they couldn't find anything wrong with the transmission. I asked about the engine light, "Leo" said they never hooked it up to the computer. I asked him what they had been doing all day, he said they dealt with a piece of plastic that had been rubbing against the left front tire and, again, did the state inspection, couldn't find anything wrong with the transmission. I asked Leo why he would inspect the car if the work I asked for hadn't been done. He told me that when you make the appointment online, they don't get the notes about the reason for the appointment. I asked Leo A) How should I know that and B) How is that my problem? I reminded "Leo" that I verbally told his employee the reason for the appointment when I walked in the door. (PS, Leo was standing behind the counter while I spoke to his employee.) He tried to convince me to leave the car so they could do the work I ASKED THEM TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE. I decided that I was not comfortable with the situation and took the car back. He did not charge me for dealing with the plastic rubbing against the tire. PS, it still makes that rubbing sound, just less often. read more

On our way to Maine traveling from NC, we got s flat tire. We went to and talked to several tire shops and Sullivan's was the only one who would have our matching tire by the next day. So, on my way out of the tire shop my van began to overheat. I was only a mile out from the shop and so i turn around and bring it back. Turns out I have a cracked radiator now too. You may think my luck has abandoned me as this vacation is not going according to plan. However, I believe I was meant to end up in this shop. They had the parts in stock and were able to replace my radiator, hoses, and thermostat all before most of the other shops would have had my replacement tire in the shop. Leo and the fellas were great and I am thankful for traveling almost 30 minutes (passing many shops on the way) from Wells to Biddeford. Cheers Sullivan's tire you guys saved my vacation! read more

Since writing my initial review, the company reached out to me by phone several times to try to make things right. I was very impressed to have received a call from someone higher up in the Sullivan Tire business who really seemed to care about my feedback. While I still wouldn't recommend this particular location in Biddeford, I've reconsidered my previous statement about them as a company -- they've offered a refreshing level of professionalism that I respect. read more

Had been using these guys exclusively for about a year. I put a vehicle in for front tires, brakes, oil change, headlamp and wiper blades. They forgot to do the brake job! He called with my total which seemed to cheap. He ( Mike) was the same guy to quote me the job. Told me my back brakes were fine. It was the front I wanted replaced. Lost all confidence in this place. Mike argued with me for quite sometime. Not wanting to do the brakes. Finally said don't I'll pick it up tomorrow. When we went there they didn't even do the oil change! Will be searching for a new place. No I will not take up my time sending you all the info. They know who I am and what they did. I was lied to for 2 months essentially loaning Sullivan Tire $850 during this period for a part that they barely tried to find. I took my car in for a simple state inspection, which unfortunately turned into needing to have the steering rack replaced. I was told this would need to be paid in advance in order the get the part on order and that is was available through GM and would take up to 1 week to arrive. I was called a few days later by the store manager Leo and was told that my part had arrived and to drop the car off... and then called back 5 minutes later to tell me it was a different part and that he called me before he opened the box originally. I said that was fine, but I would be dropping my car off in a couple of days as I would be going out of town so they could do the work while I was gone. Leo said this was fine and my car would be stored in their garage while they had it. Unfortunately, when I dropped off my car I was told for the first time that the part they had ordered was not available and I would have to wait a week for GM to rebuild one. I waited a couple of weeks for the part to be built and called back for a status updated. The phone was answered by someone who told me he could not help and that he would pass my message along for me to be called back after lunch, which did not happen. I called back the next day for the phone to be answered by the assistant manager who explained Leo was on vacation, but GM had told them the part would be ready on August 19. I waited a few days and called Sullivan on 8/22 only to find out from Leo that they received an update that was not worth passing along to me, which was the part had not been rebuilt and the date was pushed out. I asked what the new date was and Leo said he would call GM to find out and let me know. Leo never called be back. I called another shop, explained the situation, and was told they would see what they could find and call me back. I was called back within 10 minutes and told the part was found at a shop in TN that rebuilds them. After this I felt lied to by Leo who clearly did not attempt to use any resources to find the required part. I went to Sullivan Tire to pick up my car and was "greeted" by the assistant manager with a look of surprise when I walked through the door. I simply stated I was there to pick up my car and a refund for the work that wasn't completed to which he replied, "I can't blame you, it's been two months." No other words were exchanged except asking for the credit card and to sign the slip. I only received a "sorry" under the breath when the key was handed over to me. As I wrote this review I received a call from Sullivan Tire about the feedback I wrote them 30 minutes prior that this was unacceptable, changes would be made, and they would entice me to give this location a try again after these changes are made. I have changed my mind about the Sullivan Tire brand, but still weary of this location. I will update this review after I get back in there and give them another chance. read more

This is the last time I will ever deal with Sullivan Tire. I brought my car to the Biddeford ME location for battery service and to see if they could look at my A/C. The battery issue was the most important. I get a call saying the battery is dead so I tell them to go ahead and change the battery. I explain the A/C might not be working just because of needing a charge but just to look into it. Next thing I hear this whole ordeal will cost me $360 because he charged the A/C without my consent. I see there is a promotion for 20% all Auto Service on their website for the anniversary until July 31st. I tell Leo Rossignol, the manager, about this and he tells me it's too late to apply it. I tell him the work was done before the 31st and he tells me "Well we actually ended it on the 27th". If you do a google search you can see in fact the "20% of all service until July 31st" by searching for it. I will be going to the papers about this false advertising. I will send this over to all the review sites I can find to steer people away from this business. I will never ever in my life or my families life let them go to Sullivan Tire ever again. I was lied to in the face, work done without my permission, not to mention all the little things like leaving grease in my car, not using floor mats to keep mechanic grime off the cars mats and the side panels. My steering wheel was covered in grease. This is abysmal service. I can't believe a company like this can ever operate and be able to sleep at night with how they lie and steal from customers. read more
