I called around 1pm. No previous conversation had with them. Spoke to their receptionist Elle, who was extremely nice, professional, and eager to help me. I was only looking to get an alignment after I had just gotten new front tires. Elle told me to bring my car down when I could and they will do their best to get it done before the end of the day at 6pm. . Within 3 hours, around 4pm, she called me back saying my car was ready for pick up. They didn't try to sell me on anything more than what I had asked or try to have any other services done. I work on cars myself, I just don't have certain machines or equipment to do an alignment. I even had an issue with something that I didn't know about. An issue that most places would have just given me a quote of how much it would cost, when they could do it, and insist that it needs to be done...where as the manager Eddie at Sullivan Tire suggested not fixing it because of how much work and money it would take. He informed that it isn't something that will cause issues driving it and it isn't an immediate safety concern. He said I would be better off getting a newer used car for how much it would cost. My car is 2013 with about 215K miles on. A lot of places (not all) in my experience will always try to sell you on something more. And being a mechanic myself, a lot of times, it's something that I know doesn't need to be done. But not Sullivan Tire. They were informative of the issue and what work was done on my car. Provided pictures of the issue/the work that was done, a written report as well, and went over everything again in person. They didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need. They didn't have any hidden charges. And they gave me the best suggested course of action regarding the issue they found. I would highly recommend them. I bring my cars here for routine maintenance, tires and repairs. The Medway staff is super friendly and helpful. No high pressure or gimmicks, just good service. Really trust them to give me the right info and recommendations. Good value as well, very competitive on pricing. Overall an easy choice for me. Wish they did have more in the way of a loaner program but they're a small shop and that's understandable. Waiting room is very nice with coffee and is clean. We brought a 2018 Subaru to them because the tire sensor light would stay on even though we checked the tire pressure often. So we took it to Sullivan's expecting that they would check the sensors to determine if one or more would be defective. Sullivan's told my girlfriend that two tires were leaking from the valve stems but this was never detected by us so we had to take their word for it. What confuses me is why they didn't check the sensors on this first visit. And charged $114 for two valve stems with labor. My girlfriend had to bring the car in TWO MORE times for air and the sensors were not checked even then! On the FOURTH VISIT, they FINALLY checked the sensors and found one to be defective. Cost: $80 for a sensor you can buy on Amazon for $11. I have no idea how a company can operate so inefficiently. Over $200 for a device that should have been detected on the FIRST visit. Went into the Medway store and had a horrible experience. On 12/1 I brought my car in for a vehicle health report and had 2 things done from it: brake fluid flush and serpentine belt replacement. It was recommended for spark plug replacement due to current mileage. I declined it as it was not marked as a requirement/safety concern. Picked up my car after the work was completed and started driving home. I shortly felt vibrations from my car and noticed my acceleration not picking up while driving. The car had gone into limp mode and all of a sudden the dashboard lit up with a bunch of different system problems (power steering, emissions, Vehicle stability). Immediately brought the car back in the morning, 12/2, and diagnostics tests were run on car, saying the reason was due to worn spark plug. The timing is suspicious because my car was fine before the service. If the spark plug that was failed (enough to cause limp mode), I almost certainly would have: felt misfires earlier, seen at least a check-engine light, had occasional rough idling. It's rare for a spark plug that is "just worn" to instantly tank the car right after unrelated work. The technician didn't test-drive my car after the work that was completed on 12/1 (brake fluid flush & belt replacement). If he had like he should have, then would have experienced the system warnings and misfirings on the test drive. I then had no choice but to have the spark plug job done as the car wasn't functioning properly at this point. I feel that since my car was driving perfectly on the way in, and the problems started immediately after the work was completed, and not taken for a test-drive, I would like Sullivan Tire to do the right thing and work with me on what I paid for the spark plug replacement. I would like to be reimbursed or at least reimbursed for the difference...Original quote was for $357.36 but ended up getting charged $672.43. Ridiculous! I also would like an investigation into the work done by the technician: Was this a mechanical coincidence - A spark plug happened to catastrophically fail on the same day as my service? It sounds like something was accidentally disturbed during the serpentine belt job (coil connector, sensor, wire, vacuum line), or when the plug was removed for inspection, causing the misfire and all the warnings. The question is: "Did a worn spark plug suddenly go bad minutes after the service?" read more

Great service! I purchased 4 new Pirelli tires and an alignment. I was in and out in less than one and a half hours. Drove home and the alignment was just a little off. The steering wheel was canted to the right slightly. I called and they got me right back in a couple of days and adjusted the alignment perfectly at no extra charge. The service writer Teresa also informed me about Pirelli's $100 rebate program, and I took advantage of that online as well. I recently brought my vechicle in for an emergency brake sticking issue. I was told that it would cost $3600. Yes $3600 to fix it. I said no. I will bring it to dealer to have them look at it. A coworker gave me the name of his mechanic I brought my car to them and it is now fixed to the tune of $240. I have been going to Sullivan Tire for years for all of my tire needs. Went to the Medway Sullivan to get tires, alignment and oil change recently. They changed the oil and installed the tires but refused to align my truck and told me it needed $2000.00 worth of front end work before it could be aligned. I left and took it to a mechanic who said it needed minor work and charged me $500 to fix it. I will be going elsewhere from now on. They caught another issue and we ran the pricing by a family member who's a mechanic and everything seemed reasonable. My guess is the one star reviews were mostly during staffing shortages and supply chain issues, which we also encountered about a year ago at the tire place across the street from this on (I want to say Town Fair Tire but I know they were bought out. The Sullivan Tire in Medway used to be Direct Tire. Direct Tire was great and I purchased multiple sets of tires from them through the years. I was told by Sullivan that they would honor a warrantee from Direct Tire. I brought in a flat tire which they looked at and told me was unrepairable. They said they would replace the tire for free but would need to order the tire. 30 mins later they called and said they couldn't provide a new tire and I would need to replace all 4 tires. I called Direct Tire in Watertown and explained the situation. They ordered a tire and set up an appointment no questions/no hassles. Once they actually looked at the tire, they determined it was repairable! When the GM heard my story, he came out of the office to talk about my experience and give me his card. That is what I call great customer service! DO NOT GO TO SULLIVAN TIRE IN MEDWAY. MAKE THE TRIP TO DIRECT TIRE IN WATERTOWN. read more

I ordered 4 brand new tires for my 2021 BMW and they encouraged me to get the alignment because ' the tires last longer and it is safer'. After the tires were installed, they called back and said they couldn't do the alignment because they didn't have the 2021 software so I was out of luck. Well, I guess the 'safety' didn't matter to them or the 'proper wear of my tires' because they just sent me on my way to drive 1500 miles to FL. So much for any 'semblance' of customer service. Pathetic - 6 hrs after dropping the car off for a simple oil change - still not done, and, going to take another 2 hours. Why leave the car if nothing is going to be done? I have been going to direct tire in medway for years and they always had honest and reasonable services. My wife's car was in need of some urgent repairs, so I brought it to the (now) Sullivan tire location in Medway. They ripped me off. They quoted me one price over the phone and then when I went to pick up the car they wanted $921 for the rear brake work alone. Please avoid this place. Do not trust the 5 star reviews, they were all earned by direct tire, not these thieves. read more

Go anywhere other than Sullivan Tire. I bought my previous set of tires at Sullivan and it was an absolute nightmare; their only objective is to charge high prices and then do everything in their power to make excuses for the work they performed (when something inevitably goes wrong). Direct Tire was the complete opposite- they stood by their work, they provided excellent service and they were very transparent. But, unfortunately Sullivan Tire bought this location and infected it with their culture of greed and ineptitude.
