There was a small error made during my service and when the team realized it they immediately took ownership of the issue and made corrections. Got my tires rotated, no mention of any issues. That night, I start to notice some odd noises. The next day I go to my mechanic. He hops in to listen for the noise and we drive 100 feet before he tells me 'Your wheel is about to fall off'. The noise was tires wobbling due to loose lug nuts. The manager of the Valvoline invites me to watch the film of the visit. It clearly showed either a lug nut or stud breaking while the employee was working on it. The employee knew something had broken, but said nothing to me. Instead he took my Visa and guided me out. The manager missed this part during his investigation. He was apologetic after I pointed it out to him. Valvoline has accepted responsibility for only part of the repairs (part of the right front). They remain convinced that most of the lugnuts were tightened correctly and can't explain why the tires were wobbling 12 hours later. They have offered me two days of rental car service and and ~15% of the cost to repair what my mechanic reports is damage clearly caused by improperly secured lugnuts. read more

So bad. Stay away. I went here over a year ago. I bought a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. That was fine. The guy working the computer says. It looks like you could use a radiator flush. Ok how much. $120 dollars. Do it. Mind you they take your keys. Witch is fine. That way people don't drive away. The kid fumbled around looked like he didn't know what he was doing. The guy at the computer goes over shows him. Okay. 10 mins go by. Allset. My 2016 car just has the over flow. Or the well to the radiator. I drive home. Next day go to work. Get ęon highway after work. On 495. Get up to 72 mph. The car starts going. Ding ding ding. I look down over heated past the red. Pull over wait. Then drive home. Then ĺ go to Walmart. Get a gallon of antifreeze. I bled it. Took the whole jug. I get to thinking. They took my keys. Never bled it. The kid did it wrong. Destroyed my engine. I call there. The manager Nathan lied to me 3 times. Said he checked the video tape. Said the kid did it right. Wrong never bled it. You need the keys to turn it on to bleed it. Valvoline did nothing for me. It cost me $9000 dollars to replace my engine. The guy Nathan asked me. If I knew anyone that could fix it. Yes Ford. Oh that will cost an arm and a leg. We (Valvoline) will split it with you. I never received a dime. I just finally got my car back about 2 months ago. I had to save every penny. Put in a new engine. Stay away from Valvoline in Salisbury Mass. Luckily I didnt go down there. The best part is nobody lies to you here or Tries to Upsell you for stuff you don't need. First check out Maureen P's story near my post because my experience was the same. First, the oil change is 20$ more than everyone else but I just moved to a new town and needed a quick fix. Second, I went in for an oil change and was told one of my tires had a faulty stem and my tire could leak until its flat. I was told to replace it on the spot. I have never had a tire issue and no system alerts for tire inflation ever went off on my dashboard. The next morning my tire was flat. I took my car to my hometown mechanic the next morning and he told me someone loosened the stem by hand! Coincidence? Shameful location using a side hustle to steal. read more

Had the nerve to charge $ 95 for a synthetic oil change geez its only $ 75 at the Nissan dealership so of course will never ever go back to this location. 3. The dealership does the same stuff tops off fluids checks tire pressure etc so no big deal you guys do it too but what are you providing to a customer beyond the same things I can get at Nissan much cheaper. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT go there for an oil change. Today, makes the second consecutive time we took our car for an oil change, and ended up with a flat tire a little while later. The first time wasn't bad we were only down the road, so we went back and they filled it. Today, is another story my daughter drove to school and when she got out the tire is completely flat, and this is NOT the same tire. I don't know whats going on there but obviously something is wrong. 80 plus dollars for an oil change and this crap!!! And we used a coupon too. I just tried calling them and it keeps ringing like a fax machine, when I call back its busy. I just called corporate and am waiting for someone to get back to me, the woman who took the info at Corporate was very nice. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE. Twice in a row is sketchy. read more

You see my complaint was answered by an "anonymous customer service" person. When the customer service people refuse to give a name, its a tip off. They said they wanted to "make it right for me"? They asked what day I was there (see Monday in my complaint) which tells they did not read or care about me. Then they wrote back to say I was right...I have no front differential and had to listen to that lecture anyway!! To me that suggests fraud? Trying to charge me for something I don't have cannot be anything other that a scam designed to separate me and my money. Then they made no effort to "make it up to me", but harranged me over what employee I dealt with. I regard this whole experience as abuse of the elderly, attempted fraud, and more...so I am filing a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General and The Office of Senior Services and hope my experience might guide others? Brought in my car for an oil change--everything running fine when I enter. Upon exiting, power steering fluid is pouring out everywhere. Car is undriveable, steering is seized. Had to be towed and cost me $1800. Of course, they claim they have nothing to do with it -'it's just a coincidence.' Their regional customer service rep called me, stating that his research indicated that this was a common problem with this make year/make/model. After doing the same research, I have found a single reported case of this problem. I will take them to court and never ever will drive into another one of their locations. This location is by far the best oil change place I have ever been to. I would recommend this I anyone who would like great service and quick. I have been to jiffy lube and other express lubes before. I like it here because I am able to stay in my car and hear what everyone is doing. The technicians that work on my car are knowledgeable about any questions or concerns I ever have about maintained parts on my car.
