I called four days in advance to book a tire replacement. I mistakenly listed the wrong brand, but confirmed with the call center, who assured me the tires would be ready. When I arrived, they didn't have the tires and blamed a mix-up they had days to catch. No phone call to confirm the ambiguity? I took a full day off work, and all they offered was a bland apology with no compensation. A week later, after another day off, the installation was quick, but that same afternoon, the tire pressure warning light came on. We called them, but we didn't know the cause until I checked the pressure over the weekend--each tire was 10 PSI under spec. This should have been obvious to a shop that only installs tires. After all this wasted time, I am done with Town Fair. I've purchased tires personally and for my business over the last 10 years from Town Fair. No more, thank you. My time is too valuable, and I expect much better. If you value your time, I suggest you head elsewhere. read more

Was there last week awful experience. Was sold am alignment when I just had one in June. Noticed they did it for the wrong year and model i went back and guy lued to me and said it was the same specs which it isnt so they fixed it. I than heard a loud noise this week and went to my mechanic to find out two lugnuts had fallen off and the rest were all loose only have gone 100 miles since service. Been there several times with family vehicles. I went in about a week ago for 4 tires for my wife. The rep told me they have Nexum tires which are made by Michelin and are a good deal. He quoted me 860.00 for the four and said they could do them on monday. Having never heard of Nexum I decided to check them out online when I got home. Turns out they are not made by Michelin but are a manufacturer in South Korea. They also had some terrible reviews. I cancelled the appointment and will be going elsewhere read more

Made appointment online for the Seabrook store for the following Monday (11/21) at noon. Upon arrival I was informed that the tires I had specified had not been ordered. It was just information - not a "sorry for your inconvenience" or anything like that - either from the man behind the counter or the manager standing five feet away. Instead the manager says "Show him those Hankooks. They're the same price, and we've got two in stock." They claimed it was a better tire. So - okay - I'll go with that. Made an appointment for the following day. The same two guys were behind the plexiglass. "You'll probably want to get a full alignment," said the assistant. So I said, "Do you think you could throw that in as a concession for yesterday?" So he turned to the manager, who thought about it for a moment and said, "Sure - set him up for a front-end alignment at no charge." I should have known when the manager just wouldn't make eye contact with me, that something was up. And there was. It turns out that Town Fair advertises a free front-end alignment with tire purchase. I get pissed at myself, when I fall for stuff like that. Now I even doubt the integrity of the tire suggestion. After all - they did already have two of them in stock. Just who are these people serving anyway - the customer - or themselves? Seems the latter in this case. I've gone to Town Fair for the past 25 years or so. Why? Because I thought they were honest. That relationship ends here. Fool me once - it's on you. You're not going to get a second chance! Note: the Hankooks seem okay - but a little "squishy" in turns. On the highway, the tracking leaves a bit to be desired. We'll see how they handle the upcoming winter. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. I had appointment for a wheel alignment today, and I made the mistake of scheduling it at 12:30 during their lunch hour. They refused to do it claiming "brake stuck on front wheel and couldn't be pushed / moved by 3 workers." This was completely untrue as I got in the truck and put it in neutral and it coasted with ease down a minimal slope in their parking lot. The truck drove fine back home without any heat or smoke on the front brakes. Based on other reviews I'd guess their workers are paid hourly without good management or incentives to do the work. read more

I stopped in at Town Fair Tire SEABROOK, NH on August 31st 2024 without an appointment with a screw or something stuck in my tire and I was losing air pressure. I was at Cardi's furniture store and Jason who works at Cardi's highly recommended Town Fair Tire. I walked into a very busy tire shop and Brandon asked how he could help me. I told him the problem and how I stopped at the dealership and called the dealership and they suggested that I buy 2 new tires because my steel belted tires couldn't be plugged and he said 'lets go look at it'. Brandon told me he would talk to his service advisor and if he said he could plug it then he would do that for me. YAY! Brandon came back in and said 'OK' we'll plug it! He asked if I had used Town Fair Tire before and I told him I didn't think I ever did and he confirmed that I was a new customer. I waited for about 45 minutes tops and Brandon came out and told me I was ready to go and gave me a sheet with the work performed and there was no charge! What????!!! I was shocked! I will never return to any Town Fair Tire. First thing they do is try to upsell you on everything. They figure the customer has no idea about tires and car maintenance. The clerk tried his upsell on me but little did he know I worked at a gas station as a high school kid and I use to balance tires,install tires, etc. I needed two front tires only and he tries to sell me four. The tires that were on the car were only 15 months old, but I wanted new all season tires for the front only. The clown of a clerk tried to tell me the back had dry rot. Hilariuous how they push you. But the clincher was when they snapped the lug nut on one of my tires ( over torqued) and tried to tell me it was safe to drive missing a lug nut. Finally I applied the lug nut back on myself when I got home and checked the tire pressue in the newly installed tires and the clowns put 50 PSI of air in each when it called for 32 PSI. I wish I could give them a zero. Made a appointment a week in advance. Went to store on day of appointment and surprise surprise they didn't have the tires in stock. Made another appointment for the following week. Appointment was at 10am. They didn't take my car in until 10:45. A hour later they said the two tire replacements and 4 wheel alignment was all set. Went out to my car noticed they put the new tires in the front when I told them to replace the back. They tried to argue with me that I said to replace the fronts. Finally someone else came over said "oh my god" grabbed my keys and went out back. After a hour and a half later they finally came back into the front and handed me keys and receipt and said "all set" no apology no sorry for the inconvenience here's a coupon for half of this service. So for a service that should have been about a hour (according to the customer service lady) took 3. I will never go back to this store and I will advise anyone talking about going there to stay away and find another tire place. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I had 4 tires replaced back in February of this year. About a month after the tire replacement, my brand pretty much brand new 2017 Honda Odyssey which has 28,000 miles on it (purchased in brand new) The "tpms" light started coming on constantly every 2 weeks I had to get air .. and still continuing to do so, until today I took My van to Honda for routine inspection and oil change, and to check on the tpms issues. Honda then told me all 4 of my sensors where the tire air stem comes out are leaking. He also told me that is is very rare, with a newish vehicle to have this happen. It definitely had been damaged. Even with the old tires before I got all new, I did NOT have this issue!! Town Fair Tire is Seabrook NH definitely screwed up my van. It is costing me $600 to have these replaced. Will never go here again. Do Not recommend them either. read more

First, I had made an appointment on their website to purchase and install four new tires. When I arrived they had no knowledge of the appointment nor did they have the tires I ordered in the shop. NOT a good start. After much discussion, the tech recommended either a tire that I had never heard of (and whose name I don't recall) or a Toyo brand tire that he said he used on his personal vehicles. They looked appropriate and based on his recommendation I told him to go ahead. I also added an extended warranty which is something I don't normally do, but I just had this feeling that it was the right thing to do, this time. While I was waiting, I did some research on the tire that I purchased (Toyo Open Country HT 235/55/18) ) and I wasn't thrilled at what I saw, especially about the tread life! It looks like the extended warranty was a good idea after all. Also, some of the wet traction reviews weren't great, either. We'll see. To the shop's credit they did give a discount on the tires because of the online screwup. But, more bad news... the tech came over to me and said that one of the tires was incorrectly labeled and that they had to send to Portsmouth (15 miles away) to get another for my car. What was supposed to be an hour's wait has now turned into an hour and 30 minutes and counting. Once it's finished and I've driven on the tires (in a heavy snow storm) I'll update my review. NEWS: Well, tires did well in snowy, sloppy driving in my 10 mile drive home. BUT: The guy who installed my tires left the interior of my car a MESS! Dirty, muddy stuff all over my steering wheel, ignition button and windowsill. Unacceptable. read more

Ordered 4 tires online. Added 4 wheel alignment, which I later found out you can't do a 4 wheel alignment on an 03 dodge ram. Also, the did their "4 wheel alignment with bad ball joints on each side". Why did they not tell me to fix ball joints & then bring truck back for alignment. 1st time using TFT. Never again. What if wife & kids took truck & ball joints failed? Bad place. Spend your $ elsewhere. read more

They suck at wheel packages when here over 3 separate times for several problems and felt like a rushed job for the money i spent on the package. I had an appointment for 4 new tires and front end alignment. Was estimated to take 1.5 hours. I was on time but nothing happened for the first hour. Why did I have an appointment??? I did my research and picked and ordered the top rated tire on for my car for my vehicle on Consumer Reports. When I got to the store the desk person tried to sell me some cheaper tire I'd never heard of saying "it was better" I told him my tire was rated at 70K miles and he told me I'd never get that. I didnt budge and kept what I'd ordered. Then he tried to sell me a 4 wheel alignment. Told me the "tire company wouldnt honor the warranty if I didnt get it." I didnt bite and didnt believe him. I dont like this bait and switch and don't like being lied to. I do like the prices and couldnt do better BUT..if this ever happens again, I will take my business elsewhere. Sell me what I have picked without trying to sell me a higher margin tire. I dont believe for a minute a tire guarantee has anything to do with the alignment you buy. read more

Came in with my own rims and purchased a new set of tires for over $1000. When they try to balance the tires they were taking excessive weight due to a faulty machine and or operator error on their part. They took no responsibility for the fact that it could be their machine having the issue and cost me an additional $80 to get the tires rebalanced at a separate store where they balanced correctly.for tire prices they get a 5/5 but for installation they get a 2/5. Update: was refunded $80 for cost of balancing at other store. Rating still same. Update 3/12: called Brad the manager with a issue where there was a fault with 2 of the tires. Told him what happened, took care right away and had tires 2 days later at no cost to me. Brad has restored my faith in Town Fair. read more
