I wanna say that I'm super disappointed because I was really looking forward to this. I haven't been here since they rebranded or maybe it's new ownership. I'm not sure. But the issue is definitely with the line cook for me today because I know the lady at the register and who took my order did everything correctly and she even double checked if my order was correct with the cook. I ordered a couple of chicken Shawarma wraps which were fine. No issues there. I also ordered a Wagyu steak wrap. I asked to add pickled cucumbers and garlic whip, which cost me an extra two dollars for what's probably $.15 worth of condiments. The wrap could not have been waygu. It must've been sirloin because the meat was so tough and it's these giant slices that you can't bite through so you pretty much pull the whole thing out when you're trying to eat it and the cucumbers and garlic whip were not in it. So I basically paid $20 for a $15 wrap. That's my issue and again the lady at the counter who took my order did everything right. The receipt was right and she double checked with the cook if that particular wrap was made the way I asked and the cook said yes, and it was not. For a place that's promoting Waygu pretty hard if this is the quality of it then I would stay clear of anything Waygu you on the menu. I drove out of my way to come here to get this place and was pretty letdown. I also tried the pistachio baklava. I can't say that it's bad but it's definitely not for me. It's kind of I don't know floral tasting. Three wraps a small fry and a baklava was $65 I don't think I'll be back. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Sultans for over a decade, but unfortunately, the restaurant recently changed hands. While the food remains delicious *but now overpriced*, I recently had a disappointing experience with my wrap. I was under the impression that you can build your wraps your own way. I've attached a photo of Sultan's website. Under "wraps/sandwiches/burger" it states - sultans way/build your own. The owner informed me that it does not say that.. When I reached out to the establishment to address the issue, I was met with a rude and unpleasant encounter. The owner, in a rather unpleasant manner, expressed his disinterest in my business and made derogatory remarks about me. He refused to offer any solution to my problem, used profanity, and disconnected the call without taking any responsibility for his actions. It's disheartening that I've been a loyal customer for so long without any issues, only to be met with such poor customer service when I finally have an issue. I've also witnessed the new owner get into an argument with a DoorDash delivery driver while I was eating with a friend (it was her first time at Sultans). It's clear that the new owner lacks the customer service skills needed to succeed and is willing to drive the restaurant to the ground. I would bring new business to Sultans, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do so anymore. read more

She came across a small spot in the Albertsons shopping center on Village Dr. I ended up picking out a make your own bowl with rice, gyro meat and kept it simple with cucumbers, beets and Feta for toppings. I covered it with Tzatziki and Vinaigrette and it was amazing. During the table delivery of the food we were offered additional sauces and I tried the garlic and hot sauces. All in all the flavors were great and the family enjoyed the Chicken & Kafka. We wrapped up the meal with 2 versions of Baklava and the Pistachio was the clear winner. I have experienced a very extremely wide variety of Mediterranean but this was just sad. I gave this place another chance. Never again. The order was wrong three of the last four times. The first time, I ordered a gyro wrap and they literally forgot the wrap. It was meat and veggies in a bowl. The last time I ordered, it was a wagyu steak wrap, which costs $16, and they substituted a gyro, which is $5 less. Today, they forgot all the veggies on the gyro. When I asked for a refund, they gave me a hard time and shorted me. Also, I always pay cash, and they still add the 3% credit card fee..There must be a 3% cash register fee. I've been wanting to try this spot for a while since I always pass by it when I eat at Chipotle next door. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the place was! I ordered the Wagyu Beef Plate with all the toppings. After about a 6-minute wait, I brought it back to my office for lunch. The food was of great quality, and the beef was clearly cooked with care. However, I was left wishing the portion of protein was enough to satisfy my appetite. The toppings like beans rice and veggies are enough to fill you up, but these are the cheapest things you can eat. A few thin slices of beef don't quite justify the $18 price tag, especially when you can get a $10 bowl next door with the same, if not more, protein. The quality is great, but at $18, it's hard to justify. If price and protein quantity aren't concerns for you, then I think you'll be happy with this spot. Note: The $18 was including the expected 18% iPad tip that is expected to be given when paying for the food. I will not be coming back. read more
