This review is for Las Vegas Restaurant Week. This restaurant week set meal was truly amazing. It's been a long time since I've been wowed by a restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money. read more

We were deliberately scammed. An extra $100 item was added to our bill, apparently hoping we wouldn't notice or question it. This was not a simple mistake--it appeared to be a deliberate attempt to overcharge customers. To make matters even worse, one member of our group suffered severe food poisoning after eating here and had to be treated by emergency medical services. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. We strongly recommend checking your bill carefully and avoiding this place. read more

One of the professional vendors at the conference that I attended, had a reception here for the people in my industry. We were invited before the conference and it was nice to come and enjoy some of the seafood here. The setup is around a major bar right in the middle of the restaurant. Also, there are seating areas on the outer perimeter of the bar. Inside they had carving stations with very fresh salted fish, beef/prime rib, and other Mediterranean (Mezzo) type charcuterie, board/platter items. The drinks were all free, but I did not partake. I ended up having a soda, since they had no 0% Alcohol beer at the bar. It was a bit crowded because this event had so many attendees however, I really like the way that the restaurant presented. My experience at Milos was superb. My server was knowledgeable and explained everything to me since I was my first time here. Being that it is a Greek restaurant, I knew I wanted fresh fish. My server walked me over to their fresh fish table where they have several whole fish options, each weighing at least 1.5-2lbs. She explained to me the flavor profile of each fish. The fish I chose was the Fagri fish, which is a dense meaty fish. It was cooked with olive oil and lemons to bring out the flavor of the fish. The fish was fresh and did not taste fishy. Went here with a party of 4 for a lunch on the Vegas strip, and although most of the food was tasty, it was so outrageously expensive and overpriced that I couldn't justify rating it any higher. I know that restaurants on the strip are pricey, but $45 for the Milo's Special which is just a vegetable tower of thinly sliced and fried zucchini is wild. If the food was incredible I would be less critical, but the taste and value for the money just didn't match up here for me. My relatives seemed to enjoy the restaurant overall, but I probably wouldn't have gone here if they hadn't chosen it, and I certainly don't see myself coming back. read more

Had the opportunity to dine here for lunch on Saturday during our weekend Vegas getaway. It's located inside restaurant row at Palazzo/Venetian. The ambiance is upscale and the restaurant looks spotless. They specialize in fine dining Mediterranean cuisine and primarily focus on seafood. We were able to get a lunch reservation for 11:45am and were seated promptly. Food We had a party of four so two people ordered off their prefixe lunch menu which is around $45 for an appetizer, entree and dessert. Two of us ordered off the dinner à la carte menu and picked our own fish for an entree. Upon seating staff came to fill the olive oil and basil plate for fresh bread. For appetizers we ordered fried calamari, chargrilled octopus, Greek Spread. The Greek spread came with 3 different dips and my favorite was the red pepper feta. Octopus was tender and skin was charred perfectly to give it a nice texture. The fava bean puree with capers and red onion paired really well with the octopus. For our entree we got a 2.5lb branzino that was prepped table side. The fish was perfectly cooked and very minimalistic in seasoning so you can taste the freshness of the fish itself. Service We ordered a bottle of sparking wine and the pours were constant without having to ask. The captain experienced with giving us a run down of the fish selection was fun and the person was very knowledgeable. Our server was also very friendly and constantly checked in with us. read more

I've came here in the past a few times, and i do have to say i am impressed that their quality is still being top notch to this day! I wish i remembered our waiters names- service was exceptional. We had a few plates as tasters such as the tuna tartare and the raw fish tasting plate, i have to admit i wasn't a fan of the tuna tartare but the fish platter was SO delicious! The halibut really stood out to me. I also ordered their lamb chops, which i have to say were extremely juicy and cooked to perfection! Their rose was also one of the best rosé's i've ever tried. Dined here recently with a small group, and we had a wonderful experience. We had one diner who didn't want to go for the "big fish" spread, so we did a selection of starters for our meal: Tartare - featuring tuna and salmon in a lovely little tower, this dish was simple yet full of flavor, with nicely cut small cubes of fish nestled in a very light bit of sauce to just hold things together. I shamelessly devoured the whole thing myself (well, OK, because I was the only raw fan at the table) The Spreads - A trio of wonderful spreads, including a thick tzaziki, taramosalata (a new one for me, a creamy spread made from roe), and htipiti, which I initially mistook for hummus, but is actually made from roasted red peppers and feta cheese, so it's more dense and rich in flavor. These were served with pita wedges and vegetable sticks, and all were delicious. I especially loved the taramosalata, but I can see how it might not be for everyone - it's quite salty, but packs a sea-sized punch of flavor. Milos Special - The one everyone talks about. Impossibly thin planks of eggplant and zucchini are delicately battered and fried to a light golden brown and arranged in an artistic interlaced tower around tzaziki. This was the hit of our table, and was gobbled up completely. Also present were some small wedges of saganaki, a fried cheese dish that featured strongly flavored and seasoned cheese that was firm yet gooey when bitten into. Pretty sure there were only scraps of tzaziki left after this one. The service was impeccable, and the decor and atmosphere were elegant yet not stuffy. The spread of fresh fish smelled only of the sea and the eyes were bright and clear; I'm sure they would be lovely. Put this place on your must-do list the next time you're in Vegas! read more

This restaurant is located inside the Venetian, next to the Grand Canal Shops. It's a high-end Mediterranean restaurant, and when you first walk in, it's deceiving how large the space actually is; it can accommodate a lot of people at once. The decor is simple and elegant, immediately reminding you of Greece. They even display fresh seafood market-style, very similar to European seafood restaurants, where you can see and choose the catch of the day and know exactly what you're being served. The seafood here is superb!! Everything we ate was excellent. The restaurant recommends family-style dining, and what really made the service unique was the playful tableside presentation of each dish by the waiter. Even the olive oil dipping sauce was an experience: they brought out a whole fresh oregano plant and clipped the herbs directly into our bread sauce at the table. To start, we were given a delicious amuse-bouche (bite-sized) raw seafood served on an endive leaf. I loved the texture: biting into the crisp endive paired with the delicate raw fish made for the perfect opening bite. It was a great start to the meal. Next, we had the Milo Special, which was a tower of perfectly fried, crispy zucchini slices. The waiter theatrically spun his spoon to collapse the tower, revealing a creamy cheese spread in the center. As part of our appetizers, we also ordered the grilled octopus served with hummus and sliced onions. It tasted incredibly fresh and reminded us of the octopus we had in Spain. We also tried the Greek salad with vine-ripened heirloom tomatoes; simple, refreshing, and well-balanced. For our main entrées, we ordered the salt-baked fish, which is deboned tableside, and the Bay of Fundy lobster pasta (Athenian-style Astakomakaronada). The pasta was made with a whole lobster, but to be honest, the lobster flavor didn't stand out much. The dish was good, but not particularly exciting. The plating was probably the highlight of the dish. For the salt-baked fish, you choose the type of fish and the weight, based on what's available that day. Both the fish and lobster are market price. We hadn't planned on eating so much since we had all-you-can-eat X-Pot for lunch, but everything was so good that we ended up ordering more than expected, including dessert. The couple next to us couldn't stop raving about the baklava cheesecake, calling it "orgasmic." As a huge cheesecake fan, I had to try it. It was very good, though I'm not sure I'd go that far. It had great texture and definition, with crushed pistachios on top, a creamy cheesecake layer, and a flaky, layered crust. Our total bill came out to $670 including tip, and it was well worth it. My friend and I came for lunch and initially I was a bit uncertain as the bartender had very closed body language - looking down, not saying anything but a quick hello when we sat down, and put the menus in front of us and then vanished without a word for a few minutes. Whatever it was it lasted only a few moments because by the time he took our order he was looking us in the eyes and by the time we left we seemed to be fast friends, exchanging stories, talking about favorite dishes, and giving recommendations on best places for cocktails. The restaurant is a cool space. I found the bar captivating to look at with its large glass panels and granite countertop. I opted for the 3-course lunch because it sounded nice starting with the oysters. The oysters were fabulous. Next up was the salmon with piazzi beans. The salmon was cooked to perfection and was a delight! I've never had piazzi beans and really enjoyed them! The lemon, olive oil, salt, and pepper while simple brought forth a bright bite that made me just happy. I have no pictures of the dessert, karydopita, because I ate it too fast. It was so good! I had never heard of the fish that we had, Balada, but it was as flaky and buttery and delicious as the waiter told us it would be. Great appetizers and sides, truly a wonderful experience. Tucked inside the Venetian's Restaurant row, we arrived for our 8pm dining reservation. We were quickly seated and greeted by two waiters that would tend to our every need for the evening. This is a white linen tablecloth service with refined waitstaff which adds to the occasion and pricing. Patrons were dressed up and some were in nice jeans. We started with delicious homemade toasty bread dipped in premium EVO with fresh oregano leaves snipped table side. Fancy and tasty. The grilled octopus with fava bean hummus was incredibly tender and deliciously charred, accompanied by julienned onion, with a slight hint of mustard. The dish was absolutely sublime. If you enjoyed octopus in Greece, this will take you back to the carefully preparation that made it so tender. We selected Fagri (a sea bream) for our grilled fish preparation. It was very simply grilled and presented with fresh lemon wedge and capers. It was incredibly moist and tender and very delicious. Our broccoli/cauliflower side dish was also very simply steamed and plated, family style, and tasted amazingly fresh. For the birthday girl, we were given a walnut cake with honey soak and a very interesting tasting topping - it was a mastiha pine taste. This was the most we have ever paid for a two person meal - over $350 including tip with one glass of wine, an appetizer, market grilled fish and a side of broccoli and cauliflower. It was a special celebration and we certainly were treated special so in the end, it was mostly worth it. Just be aware of the market prices on the fresh fish - the Fagri fish we selected weighed 1.5lbs at $95/pound. read more

This restaurant is stunningly beautiful! I was here several years ago and looked forward to eating here again. The huge kitchen is open concept. Service at each table is provided as a team with a captain, waiter and assistant. The exquisite fresh fish is displayed on ice in the front along with fresh lobsters. We selected the following to share: Milos Special; thin crisp lightly fried eggplant and zucchini stacked high (enough for 4 to share) with tzatziki in the bottom center. Unfortunately the tzatziki was so thick, more like cream cheese, so inedible to dip the crisp veggies in...yes I showed and shared with our server, but he never said anything further. Sautéed Diver Scallops were perfect and every bite was savored! Potato "Fries" were delicious and I remember these from last time. Greek Salad consisted of 1/8th wedges of vine ripe tomatoes, cucumber slices, and red onions along with a wedge of feta cheese. It was dressed in olive oil and lemon juice with salt & pepper. It could easily have fed 4 persons. The person sitting next to us ordered their baklava cheesecake. He polished it off his plate. I ordered and split a slice with my dinner companion. We absolutely loved it and ate every morsel! I would order this again! I did have to ask for more water twice. Though other hostesses did check on us a couple of times which I really appreciated. Milos is an upscale white cloth table service. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy an epic meal with the freshest seafood available. I definitely will return again. read more

While visiting Las Vegas, I had the pleasure of enjoying a post-birthday lunch at Estiatorio Milos , located inside the beautiful Venetian Hotel and Casino. My friend invited me, and it turned out to be the perfect way to celebrate my bday and roomie reunion. As we entered, we were warmly greeted by the hostess, who promptly walked us to our table. The ambiance was elegant and inviting--white tablecloths paired with stunning aqua chairs created a refined and refreshing atmosphere. Our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He took the time to ask thoughtful questions about our preferences and guided us through the menu. To start, I ordered a gin and tonic, which was absolutely delicious, while my friend enjoyed an iced tea. We began our meal with Milos Special, followed by grilled octopus that was cooked to absolute perfect and served on a bed of hummus, complement to our starters. For our main course, I had the salmon, and my friend chose the dorade royale--both dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully plated. To finish off this lovely lunch, we had greek yogurt with cherries for dessert. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet note to end our meal. Overall, Miles exceeded my expectations. Having lived in New York in a business account environment with several visits to the Manhattan branch, I became jaded towards Milos. I thought it was very overpriced for what it was. I teased my partner about her love of Milos and said if she ever wants to go to Milos I'd drop her off. We just got to Vegas for a birthday party and my partner told me she was taking me to Milos for lunch. It was wonderful. The food was excellent--I had lamb chops, she had a tuna burger. The appetizers were great, and dessert was very nice. The lunch menu was $45, and my lamb chops were an additional $15. We both had soft drinks. Long story short, it was the best lunch I've had in years, and I'd consider taking out a second mortgage for dinner. read more

My husband and I went here for a date night for anniversary. It seemed like everyone in the restaurant knew was our anniversary because all the workers who greeted us said Happy Anniversary which was sweet. Very nice restaurant for a date night. I thought the the decor and open kitchen was on point. It was also interesting that you could pick a fresh fish and have them cook it the way you wanted to. I didn't opt in for that but I thought it was something unique. Service was excellent. People came by very promptly to clean the table, to gather empty plates, and to fill water cups. Now in terms of the food I would say the best best best best item on that menu was the octopus. I have never had octopus that tender in my life. I never even knew that they could cook octopus that way. It was so easy to just eat and bite into. No chewing necessary. We ordered the halibut as well as the lamb chops and I definitely recommend those as well. I prefered the lamb chops while my husband liked the halibut. The one item that I did not particularly like that was recommended to us as amazing was the ceviche. It wasn't as as I would like it . And it's flavors were very one-dimensional. I only tasted that one flavor throughout and I would like to have like a balance of tart as well as maybe a little bit of something else when I eat ceviche. It was also a little bit dry for me. I was in Vegas for five whole days, staying at the Palazzo Hotel for a real estate sales conference. There are tons of restaurants in this hotel; one does not have to wander far to find nourishment. However, I must say many of the places I tried, including known Miami brands were, at best, mediocre except for one: Estiatorio Milos! Milos happens to be one of my favorite Miami Beach spots and has been for years. My first encounter was a Miami Spice lunch at least 10 years ago. Then dinner, then lunch again. I even hosted lunch for about 30 women there and everyone loved their first class dining experience. Let's talk about why. Milos offered a $45 three-course lunch in Vegas; there were 5 of us and all ordered something different and we all loved our food; so much so that we had two days left for our conference, several went back. They start by serving their fresh baked bread with their own olive oil and homegrown snips of oregano. There were at least 6 options for first course, almost all ordered Milos' Greek salad, which is outstanding (my roommate went back and ordered one for dinner); the freshness of the tomatoes is unbelievable, firm and plump, a sprinkle of red onion and green pepper with a generous slice of feta. I don't know what concoction they used for dressing but I could take that home! I ate it all and so did everyone else; of course there were a few black olives. There were six entree choices; each of us ordered something different: organic chicken, seabeam, salmon, tuna and I paid the up-charge of $15 to order my favorite dish of theirs, lamb chops! Two juicy perfectly prepared (medium rare) chops served with their golden fries and a bit of broccoli. I was an absolutely happy camper. And the finale, for me was the fresh fruit, it was a generous serving of strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple and to my surprise, yellow watermelon! This was a great $60 investment! After several days of what I call "pedestrian" fare, I finally hit a home run! If you are in Vegas, and want a lovely meal with great service and great atmosphere, go to Estiatorio Milos. I want to add Milos accommodates groups as they did provide separate checks for all five diners which, you know is hard to come by! If you are not headed to Vegas and you live or are coming to Miami, head to Miami Beach and enjoy a great Milos dining experience there too. read more

What can you say about Milos? Never enough. This place is stunning, a beautiful restaurant with an open bar set in the center and a wonderfully intimate, but open setting. When I find out that I was attending a conference in Vegas I immediately booked a table for myself and friends as this day fell on her birthday. And of course Milos did not disappoint. Started with the Milos Special for our initial appetizer, ( after being served a special ceviche compliments of our waiter). And let me tell you it was one of the best if not the best I've ever had. The Milos Special were the fried zucchini chips presented as a tower with a hint of Parmesan and a nice dip in the middle. Another must order Apologies for forgetting the actual fish, but we ordered the catch baked in sea salt and shared it between the three of us. After initially being presented to us our waiter began to filet at our table . Stunning to not only see the entire fish covered in sea salt, but to see someone expertly filleting and serving it to us. I will say that the fish ( it was a white fish there-bye flaky) was quite tasty. Served with capers and adding the lemon brought out the flavors All of our sides were well seasoned and did not miss. Sublime seafood spot on restaurant row between the Palazzo and Venetian. Went in on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by a couple of models. Inside is fancy, but don't let intimidate you. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient. And the prices? Very reasonable for the quality you're getting. The lunch menu had three-course options, all of which looked terrific. Went the full seafood route, which is what Milos is known for. Appetizer - Chargrilled Octopus - 9/10: unbelievably good. Never had octopus so tender. Served on a spread of fava beans showered with capers that weren't too salty at all. Citrusy and smoky...Well-balanced. Loved it. Main course - Dorado Royale - 8/10: grilled fish. Fresh, perfectly cooked, tasty. Drizzled with a bit of their house olive oil brought it to another level. Dessert - Karydopita - 6/10: not a huge fan of Greek desserts as they tend to be way too sweet for me. This was not exception. And the ice cream had this weird, chewy texture. This place was a lot better than I thought it would be. It's a bit pricey but I think it was worth it. I ordered the octopus, a full grilled fish, and the Baklava cheesecake. While the fish was great, the octopus and the baklava cheesecake stole the show. read more

Came here for last minute dinner without any reservations for a party of 2, and luckily got seated right away at the bar. First impression was that the restaurant was huge with lots of seating, although it was a pretty full house. Our server was really nice, and offered us advice and recommendations from the menu. Oysters (4/5): Got half a dozen oysters and they were really good in size and taste. They weren't chucked as nicely as I'd like, as there were shell bits with eat bite, but the flavor and the sauces that it came with made them taste great. Greek Mule (5/5): This was one of my favorite "moscow" mule drink. I'm not big into alcohol and prefer sweeter, lighter drinks, and this greek mule was just that. I couldn't really taste any alcohol flavor which I personally like. It was a refreshing drink to have alongside dinner. Lamb chops (3.5/5): The lamb chops were good, although it was really chewy and a bit gamey. The portion was nice and it did come with a side of fries and some greens. I don't usually eat lamb chops but our waitress said that this restaurant is known for their lamb chops, so I definitely wanted to try this. I don't think I'd order it again, but I'm not a huge lamb fan to begin with. Baklava cheesecake (4/5): This cheesecake was really good! Such a fun twist on traditional baklava and cheesecake. Beware that this dessert is really sweet and the portion is relatively big, so I'd recommend sharing with someone if possible. Wanted to love this place, left us wanting... Nice decor, good place for a date night. For the price we paid, we expected better service and better presentation. In terms of service, there were three different people servicing our table, none of which let us know who they were or what they were responsible for. One filled our water, gave us menu & wine list with no explanation. Another came and asked what we wanted to drink, we told him that we hadn't figured out what we were going to order yet. The last one with the apron was apparently our waiter although looked like a cook. All of them half heartedly mumbled through their normal script. We knew that we wanted the fresh fish but no one explained that its what their known for, what fish were available, that you get to pick your fish and they cook it, no of that was mentioned or highlighted. I actually had to ask when he came back for our order. It was a slow July Wednesday & the restaurant was full of staff yet our water glasses frequently went unfilled. The waiter wasn't very personable. Had their prep board next to our table waiting for the fish yet just stood there awkwardly with no effort at conversing. One of the many cooks in the kitchen was openly on his phone during dinner service. Regulars or those with a more affluent look had much more attentive service. Very disappointing at these price points. We had the grilled octopus which was the highlight of the dinner, cooked perfectly tender & flavorful. We ordered a fresh fish. It was prepped table side. He inspected for bones & pulled a few out. I anticipate there might be a bone here or there, but I had one bone & my wife had three bones in her fillet. Also during this process the fish was broken up and kind of dumped on our plate. For a ~$130 fish we'd expect better presentation, flavor, & service. We've had better fish, presentation & service at the $50-70 range for fish. So while it's nice to pick your fish out it's not worth the uncharge and service at this price point was severely lacking.
