Super cute little hidden gem. The service is always pleasant & timely. Orders can be placed ahead on the app but the walk-in experience is an efficient. The tea is made fresh, made to order & customizable to suit your likeness. I personally love love LOVE the jasmine green tea with a dab a sweetness. Not a huge food menu but certainly perfect snackables. I enjoyed the vegetable egg rolls. ~Christy

Driving past I decided to stop to see what exactly this place was . So glad I did , a cute beverage house of drinks is what I will call it. I love teas and always willing to try new flavors. As I'm deciding on a tea flavor staff start blending a drink known as a snowy. This is in a style of a slushy and if you know me you know I'm a SLUSHY gal .....Sold !!!!!. I ordered a strawberry mango snowy. Absolutely delicious:) it's refreshing, it's chilly, it's flavorful, it's ME yay !! Located in a strip mall, limited private parking on a side street is available . Small quaint building. Spacious. Indoor seating available, carry out and door dash is available as well. Clean and clear of clutter. Small snack (food) dessert menu available. Prices reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful. Cute anime characters fill the walls for gamers. Really cute spot. I will definitely come again.

This place has a decent amount of selections for their bubble tea drinks. Of all the drinks we had, I like their brown sugar milk tea with boba the most. The boba is soft and has a great texture. The drinks were made pretty quickly. The place has cute decor. There are some close parking spaces.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Sum Tea. The owner is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. We had the taro with crystal boba, the brown sugar boba, and strawberry milk with strawberry popping boba. Everything was delicious but the taro was such a standout. I'm not someone who wants a lot of sugar in my drinks, so I got everything with less or no sugar. The taro's roasted flavor was perfect. If you're into anime at all, you'll love this place. Extremely chill place to grab tea with your friends.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and knew we were in for a special treat! The friendly & knowledgable staff were ready to help. The quaint location was cute and had fun anime decor. A wide selection of boba teas were available and you even had choices of toppings as well. The staff steered us in the right direction and all of our choices were delicious! I highly recommend the Strawberry Lemonade. It was every bit as good as a lemonade from the county fair on a hot summer day! We will be going back to this woman owned business again!

Lots of good drinks. There are many choices and flavors to choose from. It was hard to choose which ones to try.

as a boba snob, this place impressed me. if you're a fan of cube tea, definitely trust this place. the boba is fresh, and i'm obsessed with the cute anime interior. the workers were so sweet. i've had their signature drinks, all incredible

Cute little boba tea spot off off of busy Olive Blvd. with limited parking. I've been twice and service is fast & friendly and the boba tea is fresh. They are able to adjust the sweetness for you to the level that you prefer. I look forward to coming back and trying more flavors.

Sum Tea House is a women-owned boba tea shop with an amazing anime theme. If you are an anime fan and love milk tea - this is your heaven. We've come here quite often for their fresh taro milk tea. It's very fresh and delicious because the owner makes the taro paste and the milk base herself. Sometime, I got Jasmine milk tea when they ran out of the taro - and I liked it as well. I tried their caramel flan before and it was good. They also had other desserts or snacks and banh mi on the weekend, but I haven't tried those items yet. Staffs here are very nice and welcoming. The owner Elaine is super sweet. She always talks to us like old friends and had us tried samples of new drinks when we were there. Overall, it has been always a wonderful experience here. We will continue to support Sum Tea House : )

The staff here is very sweet! My boyfriend and I went a couple days ago and it was a great experience. We have been trying some other boba spots around STL and this one is better than some others we tried. I got the oolong milk tea with 100% sweetness and less ice and it was pretty good, definitely sweet. My boyfriend got the Thai tea with boba, 25% sweetness, and less ice and he liked it! We will definitely come again. Also, it's nice they have some indoor seating so you can study or catch up with someone while sipping on your drinks/eating some appetizers. Also, easy parking in the lot nearby.

Ordered online (toast tab) and when I got there they had prepared the hot boba and grass jelly and the milk and tea separately, and when I walked in they added ice, poured in the milk tea, gently mixed it then sealed it. My boba was still lightly warm and perfectly chewy, and the rest of the drink was lightly chilled (i chose the "less ice" option). Very flavorful, very well balanced. Perfectly cooked boba, friendly efficient service. Will be back again!

From the moment I walked into sum the staff was super welcoming and friendly! The girl I chatted with was so easy to talk to and helped me choose my tea from a special limited time menu, which was demon slayer themed after the animes newest season! I was super duper excited and the staff mirrored my enthusiasm. The curly fries were addicting and very well seasoned. Plus the tea was sweet, citrusy and better than I imagined! Will definitely be back in to fangirl and i would love more off the menu since there's tons i would like to give a go next. I cannot express my satisfaction enough!

Happen to finally taste their Crab Rangoon. Yum. Will get it as a snack whenever I go to Costco .

If you look too closely, you will notice that it's not exactly the cleanliest, there's not a lot of attention to detail in the atmosphere and someone is usually smoking downstairs which drifts up into the dining room and is quite unpleasant. I only really notice it when seated at a table that borders on the staircase. My favorites are the shrimp long noodles and they pour a nice sauce over it and cut it with scissors for you, the shrimp and chive fried dumplings that the server brings in the cart that rolls around and makes for you, the salt and pepper shrimp or calamari, the pickled cucumbers, & the duck. Service is always friendly although there is sometimes a language barrier. Parking can be tricky, but it's worth the effort.

We were in for an early lunch Sunday with that spring forward nonsense. And we loved picking things from the steamer cart and others. The flavors are awesome as are the textures. Different dumplings for different things and I got a few pics but missed others. I find the carts are great for meeting hunger where it is -- quick and can order as you eat rather than order all up front. Going with a bigger group is lots of fun for all the things you can try but even with just two of us a range of small plates really hits the spot. The cart folks check in often til you say no more for a while but appreciate that the owner also checks in.

I've been a regular at Cate Zone Chinese Café for a long time and usually go once or twice a month…read more I always order the crispy fish and mala tofu, and up until recently, I loved this place enough to justify a 30 minute drive. Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed that. I went on Sunday, 11/23, the weekend before Thanksgiving. I worked from 6-3 that day and placed my usual order online around 1:00-1:30 pm for ASAP pickup so I could grab it before their lunch break. I even left work early to make it there. When I arrived around 2:40 pm, I was told my order wouldn't be ready until 5:00 pm and that I would have to come back. I showed them my order confirmation, which originally showed a pickup time around 2:50 pm. Even when I refreshed the website, it showed 3:30 pm, still nowhere near 5:00. The cashier, a young man, was dismissive and didn't seem to care at all that my time had been wasted or that the information given online didn't match what I was being told in person. This was extremely frustrating and honestly unacceptable, especially for a place I've been loyal to for so long. I wasted my time, left work early for nothing, and left without food. As much as I've loved Cate Zone in the past, this experience was enough to make me question whether I'll be returning.

However, I will tell you that Eddie turned it around. He was incredible. Sure, normally wait staff will tell you "oh yes great choice" so I asked if he would actually tell us if things were bad. Now, he didnt say anything was bad, but he did say he felt this other dish was better than what a person ordered because it had more flavor and yada yada. A honest man. Love to see that. Japanese Curry = Little spicy, but great flavor. Yum. Wagyu and bacon bao = amazing. Get it. Pork belly boa = a little dry, bummer. Fried shrimp boa = good. Fries = 100/10. Perfectly crispy. Amazing. We had reservations but it was so cold we went early praying that they had open seating. We were in luck the bar was open. Inside it was swanky, I liked the aesthetic. if you are looking for a place that's ultra private, this isnt it. but it would be an awesome date night. The bartender was welcoming and open. I was enthralled as they made the cocktails. They answered random questions and helped us picked something for our palate. I had the Paloma (Palo-Ho-HO-Ma) it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! i mean like go just to get one of those. Then i had the sweet chili popcorn tofu. That was also good. Next I had Tom Kha. Refreshing spicy creamy soup. almost licked the bowl. Then i chose three different bao sandwiches. chicken, the pork belly, and the shrimp tempura. All the sandwiches were great, but after all the food i ate i was so full i couldn't appreciate them like they deserved. Now all the food AND the drink was for $40.00 You see I gave them 5 stars.
