First time patronizing Sum Tea. Thanks Yelp for broadening my horizons l!. I was not disappointed. The place is brightly lit and colorful. The space is nice and clean, too. The staff greeted us and explained the event's offerings. There was a menu with lots of choices. We got to choose 3 flavors for our flights. I chose Lavender Lemonade, Gamer Boy and Sparkling Mango. All three were delicious and had either boba or lychee added. I could not choose my favorite. For a snack I chose "straight fries " (as opposed to curly) with garlic Parmesan. Hot, fresh and crispy. I think I've found my new boba tea spot!

Super cute little hidden gem. The service is always pleasant & timely. Orders can be placed ahead on the app but the walk-in experience is an efficient. The tea is made fresh, made to order & customizable to suit your likeness. I personally love love LOVE the jasmine green tea with a dab a sweetness. Not a huge food menu but certainly perfect snackables. I enjoyed the vegetable egg rolls. ~Christy

Driving past I decided to stop to see what exactly this place was . So glad I did , a cute beverage house of drinks is what I will call it. I love teas and always willing to try new flavors. As I'm deciding on a tea flavor staff start blending a drink known as a snowy. This is in a style of a slushy and if you know me you know I'm a SLUSHY gal .....Sold !!!!!. I ordered a strawberry mango snowy. Absolutely delicious:) it's refreshing, it's chilly, it's flavorful, it's ME yay !! Located in a strip mall, limited private parking on a side street is available . Small quaint building. Spacious. Indoor seating available, carry out and door dash is available as well. Clean and clear of clutter. Small snack (food) dessert menu available. Prices reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful. Cute anime characters fill the walls for gamers. Really cute spot. I will definitely come again.

This place has a decent amount of selections for their bubble tea drinks. Of all the drinks we had, I like their brown sugar milk tea with boba the most. The boba is soft and has a great texture. The drinks were made pretty quickly. The place has cute decor. There are some close parking spaces.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Sum Tea. The owner is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. We had the taro with crystal boba, the brown sugar boba, and strawberry milk with strawberry popping boba. Everything was delicious but the taro was such a standout. I'm not someone who wants a lot of sugar in my drinks, so I got everything with less or no sugar. The taro's roasted flavor was perfect. If you're into anime at all, you'll love this place. Extremely chill place to grab tea with your friends.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and knew we were in for a special treat! The friendly & knowledgable staff were ready to help. The quaint location was cute and had fun anime decor. A wide selection of boba teas were available and you even had choices of toppings as well. The staff steered us in the right direction and all of our choices were delicious! I highly recommend the Strawberry Lemonade. It was every bit as good as a lemonade from the county fair on a hot summer day! We will be going back to this woman owned business again!

Lots of good drinks. There are many choices and flavors to choose from. It was hard to choose which ones to try.

Sum Tea House is a women-owned boba tea shop with an amazing anime theme. If you are an anime fan and love milk tea - this is your heaven. We've come here quite often for their fresh taro milk tea. It's very fresh and delicious because the owner makes the taro paste and the milk base herself. Sometime, I got Jasmine milk tea when they ran out of the taro - and I liked it as well. I tried their caramel flan before and it was good. They also had other desserts or snacks and banh mi on the weekend, but I haven't tried those items yet. Staffs here are very nice and welcoming. The owner Elaine is super sweet. She always talks to us like old friends and had us tried samples of new drinks when we were there. Overall, it has been always a wonderful experience here. We will continue to support Sum Tea House : )

Cute little boba tea spot off off of busy Olive Blvd. with limited parking. I've been twice and service is fast & friendly and the boba tea is fresh. They are able to adjust the sweetness for you to the level that you prefer. I look forward to coming back and trying more flavors.

The staff here is very sweet! My boyfriend and I went a couple days ago and it was a great experience. We have been trying some other boba spots around STL and this one is better than some others we tried. I got the oolong milk tea with 100% sweetness and less ice and it was pretty good, definitely sweet. My boyfriend got the Thai tea with boba, 25% sweetness, and less ice and he liked it! We will definitely come again. Also, it's nice they have some indoor seating so you can study or catch up with someone while sipping on your drinks/eating some appetizers. Also, easy parking in the lot nearby.

From the moment I walked into sum the staff was super welcoming and friendly! The girl I chatted with was so easy to talk to and helped me choose my tea from a special limited time menu, which was demon slayer themed after the animes newest season! I was super duper excited and the staff mirrored my enthusiasm. The curly fries were addicting and very well seasoned. Plus the tea was sweet, citrusy and better than I imagined! Will definitely be back in to fangirl and i would love more off the menu since there's tons i would like to give a go next. I cannot express my satisfaction enough!

When I walked in, they were still in the middle of putting everything out, so some of the shelves were bare and without name tags. The donuts caught my eye first, but I thought I'd be interested in the larger pastry items. Once everything was set out, I went with my first choice and got the Ube Mochi Donut. There were only a few people in there, so checking out was fast. My first few bites left me curious and wanting more all at the same time. I couldn't figure out what the flavor was but I knew it reminded me of a funnel cake. Either way, it was incredibly light, fresh, and one of the better donuts I've had in a long time. I intend to come back when I have more time and try out different things.

The hardest part is choosing. I got the pineapple cakes (my husband was a big fan), the cheese bread (so good), and my siblings got some mochi donuts (wow) and other items that they were big fans of. I also got a boba tea and to be completely honest, it was probably the best I've had in the area. And I'm a boba fan. I got the passionfruit tea and there were passionfruit seeds, they obviously make everything super fresh and put fresh fruit in their drinks. PLUS they give you what you pay for. I can't justify boba very often because I get it, pay $8 for a drink, and it's 3 sips with the amount of ice you get. NOT HERE. They give you so much tea! Literally such a cool spot, I hope they continue to do well because it's fantastic. And if you're in the area, please stop in and give them some business!!

I was planning to get my regular chai, but when I pulled up, I was shocked to find out they were completely out of chai. Apparently, I'm not the only person who loves it! The employee looked back at what I had ordered previously and helped me come up with a coffee option that wouldn't be too coffee-heavy since I'm not a huge coffee drinker. We decided on a Blondie with all the same syrups I normally get in my chai and made it extra sweet. It actually turned out pretty delicious! I could still taste a little of the coffee, but considering my beloved chai was unavailable, it was a really good replacement. Since I was there around lunchtime, I also needed something to eat, so of course I got one of my absolute favorites--the chocolate chip muffin top! I can never pass those up. I know people constantly complain about the lines at 7 Brew and how long they take, so today I decided to actually time it because I've always felt like the line moves pretty quickly. From the time I got in line until they handed me my drink, it was exactly 10 minutes. Honestly, I don't think that's bad at all! You can easily wait that long for a fast-food meal, and at least I know I'm getting a freshly made drink. I've always thought working at 7 Brew seems like such a fun job for a teenager. The location didn't have any music playing today, which I noticed because the atmosphere is usually pretty energetic, but it still had all the bright, colorful signs that make 7 Brew feel so fun and different from other drive-thru coffee places. Even though they were out of chai, the employee was helpful, I found a pretty great replacement, and I got my muffin top. Overall, still a successful Friday pick-me-up!

The cup always seems lighter than expected. Maybe they use more foam than liquid? Accessiblity: Unfortunately this locations is not easily accessible. Hopefully once all the construction working is over you can enter off Olivette rather than driving through the shopping plaza to access drive thru. Service: Service at this location was also rather slow compared to the others. I had to wave to a worker to get my order because only one person was outside taking orders from one lane. A few cars came & place order after me and got through. The guy who ended up taking my order seemed as though he was having a day... Recommendation: Think I'll keep trying different flavors until I find "the one." Think I'll give their cold drink a try (not this location though).
