You can't go wrong with a double feature drive in! For single movies, this may be a bit pricey, but it's worth it for double features. Bring some lawn chairs to be more comfortable. No alcohol allowed! But snacks and NA drinks are ok. They have a concession stand or you can order pizza from inside the arena. Port a potties are available unless you want to walk in the arena. While the front rows are reserved for cars and the further rows for SUVs and trucks, it can still be difficult to see if you have a big vehicle in front of you. Occasionally, someone will also leave their headlights on. I found that prices have risen since I last visited, but it's still a great deal for a fun night! read more

We tried this drive in over the weekend and had a lot of fun! My partner and I went to see the new Twisters movie (didn't end up staying for the double feature afterwards but it's a great deal if you do). They allow you to bring your own snacks and (non-alcoholic) beverages and the spaces are large enough to accommodate camp chairs if you prefer not to sit in your car. We ended up throwing a bunch of throw pillows in the trunk and had a great experience. There is a concession stand and the restaurant in the hockey facility allows you to order food, which we did. The food wasn't impressive and was fairly overpriced for what it was, but they had many options, just not very much for dietary restrictions, so definitely recommend bringing some snacks/eating beforehand. From the perspective of urban planning, this is such an ingenious use of a parking lot that otherwise doesn't get as much use in the summer months. We love land uses that create space for people to gather and enjoy entertainment without having to change the overall location! read more

I won tickets for this place from a fellow blogger, and since seeing a movie at a drive-in has always been on my bucket list, I was excited to try it out. I spoke to the people on the phone earlier that day, because originally I was supposed to pick the tickets up at the office there; however, it closed at 8 and we were only going for the later movie. They agreed to hold my tix at the restaurant bar for me, which was easy to find and pick up. Once you get there and pay at the booth, you receive a booklet with instructions (what radio ststion to tune in to, etc.) and are directed what screen to go to. My boyfriend hadn't seen the new Mission Impossible yet, so we went to see that. We could see the Minions/Ant-Man screen from where ours was, but I'm not sure where the 3rd screen was - somewhere beyond that, I think. You're able to walk to the concessions stand and prices are reasonable - we got a small soda ($2.75), an ice cream sandwich, and a slice of pizza ($3 each). They also do have port-a-potties but I (regretfully) had to use one later and it smelled pretty bad.... I'd recommend only using it if extremely necessary. The concessions stand closes around 11-11:15pm, FYI. Also, if you're in a sedan, the spaces closest to the screen are reserved for you; originally we parked behind the SUVs and trucks and then between movies, we switched. If I were to go back here, I'd bring a handheld radio and some lawn chairs, though - that seemed to be the way to go. Overall, it was an interesting experience, and for $10 a person, is not a bad deal if you stay for both movies. Plymouth is a little far from me but I'd like to go again next summer. read more

I'll keep this simple. Prices are $10 for each person over 10. But for that price you get two movies, that's great. Movie selections aren't always optimal. With an action movie, I think there should be a scary movie for the older crowd. We seen two kid movies and there was under fifteen cars around us. Sound comes through the radio, don't forget to start your car to charge the battery. We brought our own snacks. They have portapotties , super dark late at night. Great summer night option! Good, affordable fun ($10 a ticket for a double feature - 2 movies), you can bring your own snacks in, concessions stand is on site and porta potty are there if you need to go. When you arrive and buy your ticket you recieve a drive in 411 info sheet with rules, guidelines and what channel to turn your car or handheld radio too as well as a menu for cj's brewing company which is onsite and will deliver to your car. If you get there early, movies usually start around 9:15p, Gates open at 7:30p you can play catch, frisbee or corn hole in the parking lot -- I've never done it but I've seen it often in the parking lot sections with the screens playing childrens, tweens or family movies. Even though there are not the speakers next to your car like in the old movies lol this place is still a lot of fun and good for all ages. read more

Very nice drive in setup and they will be open until September! 3 screens with current features with typical drive in programming: (ie the current animated or family fiendly movie is the early one and an action packed film the later one). Digital projection, which is how all drive ins are functioning now. Picture looks great! CJ's Brewing Company is a full service restaurant right on site and you can even get a dinner & a movie deal for a good bargain. You can also bring in your own food! Friendly doggies can come, too. They sell out FAST for popular movies, especially new ones, so come early and get the best spot! There doesn't seem to be a polite way to park like at real drive ins (small cars in front). I had an awesome first experience at a drive in with some of my friends- really reasonable pricing ($8 student discount for a double feature) although I do wish that the later movie was an action movie/movie for older kids/adults because both movies were Disney movies. They have a concession stand but we brought our own food and it was fine. Get there early because we got there 30 minutes early around 9 and we didn't get the best parking spots that we could've gotten. read more

Fun place to see a movie with the family. You get to watch a double feature. I learned after my first experience and am now a pro at the drive in. At the ticket booth you tell what movie you are seeing and they will tell you what radio station you can hear the movie from. I have learned to bring a portable radio to listen to the movie so you don't drain your car battery. I also bring tons of blankets, pillows, and lawn chairs if you want to sit outside your car. You want to arrive early if you want a great spot. So, bring something to entertain the kids. There is a concession area and CJs restaurant on site. They will deliver to your car.
