I have gone multiple times thinking it's convenient, they are just having a crazy day . However I see there is a hiring sign up .....and now I understand why . Today , (it happens ) they few food items I tried to order were out . I did not know they were prepared food items. I didn't get upset , I paused looking to see what options were & "manger" comes up and says what's the problem ? I said idk ? I didn't know there was one , I'm trying to order food . I don't know what is in the moon milk but I am HOOKED! At least I would be if I lived in the area. It is so creamy and luxurious, that it's definitely a "treat yo self" experience! I got the iced chai with the moon milk, which weirdly made it taste exactly tly like egg nog - which is weird, and not what I was looking for, but still good. My husband got the half moon, which is what I would order from now on if we lived close enough. If this ever makes it's way to Conroe, TX I will be thrilled! read more

I love summer moon! This location is in Avery Ranch which is on Parmer, what can I say about Summer moon except that I'm a super fan!! First if all their coffee is Fire Roasted and the coffee is strong and you can have a pastry or tacos if your hungry! They have what's called Moon milk it's a sweet milk and you can order a Winter moon which is cold espresso with moon milk or a Summer Moon which is a hot espresso drink with moon milk or you can even get a Nitro Brewed iced coffee which is brewed like beer and the strongest coffee you will ever taste!! The best thing here is by far the espresso milkshake! Ask for whip cream!! It's seriously so good! It's strong and cold!! Oh and this is in a public parking lot in a little shopping center so no stress about the parking, and inside the have an upstairs loft to hang out in and free wifi, if you have tried Summer Moon you need to! They also sell mugs and tshirts and stickers if you are already a super fan like me plus you can buy whole bean coffee in different roasts to take home! My favorite is the fire light. read more

First time coming here. I got just a regular old latte with 2% milk. It's really good! I'm working remotely today, and this place will do nicely for that. They have an appropriate amount of seating both inside and out, and there's a cute loft here. They also have typical bakery items, but also salads, taco deli tacos, sandwiches, and then some other things I'm not familiar with (handpies?). I came in when they were pretty busy, but the cashier still took time to answer my questions and was really nice. If I lived in the area, I would certainly frequent this place. read more

Coming in I really liked the atmosphere. It has abundant seating and is on the quieter side, so a great place for some peace and studying time. However I got the iced mocha and found that is was overwhelmingly sweet! Apparently there is a "moon sauce" that is added that is quite sweet. My table tried it and 4/5 thought it was undrinkable. I sheepishly sent it back but the staff was very kind and understanding and explained to me what the sauce was. I got a regular mocha and was much happier with the results. This new location is great--I love the loft and ample seating, and the drinks keep me coming back weekly. Minus one star for the chicken salad with gluten free crackers I just purchased. The crackers were stale, and the chicken was completely flavorless and drenched in runny mayo. I couldn't even finish it. It was a bummer considering it brought my total to more than $11. read more

Tried this place on a cold chili afternoon. Had very high hopes from this place. Ordered 2 chai latte's for me and my wife. I always get chai at dunkin and starbucks. Even though i liked the taste but i was expecting it to be super hot. It was just Luke warm. I dont often go to baristas but when i do my expectations go up. LoL. Also i did not find the place clean either. Their front sandwich case was almost empty and had dead flies in it. Counters had coffee rings on them not wiped down in quiet some time. But it was only 2 employees working so i understand it could get tough at times. May be i need to come back another time and give it one more shot!!! read more

It's just so delicious! I started going to the location by the Domain when I lived over there. The coffee is SO good! I get the bags of pre-ground coffee and have tried several roasts now and honestly can't decide which is my favorite. As far as beverages go; my current favorite is a quarter winter moon. Winter means cold, and Summer means hot and the moon milk mixture is milk, sugar, love and happiness blended together(they told me what was actually in it but I don't remember:)! Moon blends go by fractions of strength so a quarter moon is less of the sweet milk mixture (with coffee) than the full moon. They have a bunch of yummy items that you probably cannot go wrong with and everything I've tried blows any other coffee place out of the water! It's a must try! read more

I was so excited to see the newest location of my favorite coffee shop open! The Domain location is always packed if you're trying to study or sit at a table while enjoying your coffee, but this one is much more spacious with indoor and outdoor seating, plus a loft area inside. They have all the usual drinks and food of the other locations, plus a few more hearty food options (sandwiches etc). Service was very quick and friendly and my latte was as delicious as it always is (Half Wintermoon if I'm splurging on the calories, no way something that tasty is good for you)..WiFi is quick and free, and with the ability to snag a whole table for myself it looks like a found my new study spot! read more

Nice build-out, that's it. The employees are just that, not baristas. Could not answer basic questions about their in house roasted coffees or manual brew methods (which they don't offer). Tried a medium roast Mexican bean anyways, all I could taste was roast, no flavor profiles in that coffee. Not my type of coffee place. Disappointed. read more

2.5-3 stars! My fiancé and I were super excited about this place opening closer to us since we loved the last summer moons we visited. I can say this one is very disappointing. My fiancé ordered 1/8 moon and I ordered 1/4 moon. His drink was pretty good but mine was horrible. It was missing coffee or some sweetener because it tasted bland and watered down. I don't understand how you can make a good drink for one but be inconsistent with another. I've been to bad and good coffee bars and man this was very sad. I hope the barista improves because I wasn't impressed compared to the other locations. read more

Loved my Summermoon Latte made with almond milk. This place had a really laid back and cool vibe. They had plenty of seating with an upstairs area too. I love summer moon coffee. A friend suggested I try their moon milk and I was like "their what?" This stuff must have been stolen from the kitchen of the Gods. Stuff is amazing yummy. I usually get the quarter moon which is a nice balance of coffee and the moon milk but if I feel like indulging the half moon is so good. The shop is very cozy and love the decor. After my first few visits, I was already considered a regular. I enjoy coming in with my laptop and doing research in Summermoon's relaxing atmosphere. I've given this place the good ol' college try and I still have feedback. Wait times have significantly improved and the back appears to be well-staffed. Quality of coffee is always on point. My hope, wish and dream is that owners will be introspective about the space and recognize that the interior leaves pretty much everything to be desired. So much of the seating is 4-top tables many of which are occupied by 1-2 people. It makes for inefficient use of space and finding a seat next to impossible no matter when you get here. Beyond that, the seating is very uncomfortable (the raised stools with no backs...c'mon). There is exceptional unused space on the coffee shop floor and upstairs leaving the place feeling very unfinished. Good for a pop in and pop out but not great for settling in to get some work done. read more
