Of course I had to stop at a coffee shop in Texas. Went here in April for a quick pick me up. I couldn't figure out what I wanted so I had to look at their menu online. I finally found what I was looking for. They had a lavender drink so it's a must for me ( I always look for this flavor first). I ordered the iced blue moon latte. My mom ordered their hot chocolate drink. Overall, we enjoyed what we ordered. Service here was nice and friendly.

Iced Oatmilk Latte with 1/4 Moonmilk - Delicious! Moonmilk is just sweet cream for the record. It was really yummy. Wild Berry Poptart - also delicious! The sweetness was a little overwhelming, but good if you're in the mood for that/half a bitter drink. The ambiance of the cafe is really nice. The service was good! They got busy and forgot my poptart which was a rip.

I ordered a moon milk latte per the workers suggestion and it was so good! I was thankful for their advice and found my drink to be delicious. I did come to work as they have several tables inside however it was packed given it was a Sunday so it was a bit to loud to work. Definitely recommend for a good coffee drink.

Austin is a melting pot of cultures, ideas, interests and tastes thus it would be fair some of these sentiments spill over to the outlying communities. So, when I meandered on mainstreet in Buda I saw a familiar friend, Summermoon coffee. While parking can sometimes be a challenge, I've never had to park more than 50 yards from their wonderful establishment. Walking up to the facility from the quaint street view one's eyes are drawn to the simplistic and rustic building adorned by the frugal plastic seating outside. It's a warm vibe, something the mind's eye paints when thinking of a lazy day at a coffee shop. The inside is a mishmash of furniture dark for most of the tones in the tables, floors, while the seating is a plethora of seats and the walls are white and turquois; all anchored and rightfully so by the ordering counter. The kitchen area buzzes with barista's flying around, grinding beans to make coffee to order. There are things other than coffee to order. Swag like Summermoon shirts, bags, and get this coffee mugs! Another option are pastries and more specifically the homemade pop tarts. Trust me when I say, get a mixed berry pop tart, you'll thank me later. It bursts with flavor, the crust is flaky and every bite is better than the last. Also try the kombucha as a side treat. To those who are uninitiated it's a very healthy fermented and effervescent tea which can be either sour or tart, depending on how you taste beverages with various flavors being available. My favorite happens to be the basil honey ginger. But lets get on to the star of the show, coffee, shall we? Summermoon is different in that they roast their beans with a wood fire and believe me you can really taste it, especially when the closer to black you get it. I will say I'm not a cold coffee drinker as when coffee is cold, I'm not drinking it. So, I have a mental block but when it's hot I'm in heaven. My first suggestion is the "quarter" mocha moon latte. The quarter represents the "moon milk" that's added which is wonderful but, again I like my coffee on the darker side. The flavors are deep you can almost be whisked away to sitting by a fire sipping a good cup of Jo with hints of chocolate. The moon milk offers a nice sweetener while the dairy rounds out the flavor. My next favorite is the Summer Moon Latte, their signature latte. It's very smooth and while not having the complex flavor profile as the mocha, it stands out by being a lot more even experience. Summermoon offers a locally owned and operated experience which is second to none. What is key to note that when you visit them, you're not supporting some company in the north west, but your neighbors whom you might run into on occasion. Also the staff at all locations are friendly and warm as I spend time talking with anyone who looks bored (yes I'm a chatter). But more than anything when you visit Summermoon, you're getting a great cup of coffee that surpasses other options.

I ordered the Summer Moon w/soy milk and OMG it was delicious. Tasted like melted ice cream or birthday cake. Was not sweet or bitter at all. I would definitely come back and try out their other coffees on the menu. Although, I wish they had a better system as to where the cashier would call out "next in line" - with that being said, my friends and I thought wow what a line when we entered and we were standing behind other customers thinking they were about to order but NO they were in line waiting for their drinks (haha). Oh well.

Cute little shop in the heart of buda. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our coffee was made quick. Lots of drink options, and they have merchandise such as insulated cups, clothing, mugs, etc... that were super cute! Our coffee tasted good as well. :) overall good experience

The menu has changed, the portions are noticeably smaller, and the prices have gone way up. I don't mind paying for good food, but I do expect the food and experience to justify the price. This is starting to feel like the prices of the downtown tourist spots, as if they think we're in Fredericksburg. Most of the people who live here are hardworking, middle-class families. We don't mind spending money, but we shouldn't have to pay premium prices for smaller portions simply because a restaurant has a Main Street view. Sadly, this used to be a favorite of ours. It isn't anymore, and we won't be returning. Start looking at why places are closing down, because you're NOT getting community support! I wonder why? I would like to say that the service has always been good it's just the prices and how they charge for everything separately now.. nope!

Not sure if you remember us but my husband Tim who's a desert storm combat veteran tanker has stage 4 cancer & isn't doing very well. We stopped in after a radiation appointment & Tim wasn't able to eat unfortunately but luckily for us, we had such an amazing server! First off, YOU are an amazing manager! We've never met a manager that cares enough to go to each table to say hi & see how their experience is going... TOP NOTCH!! Being a vegetarian, this is my go to place with ALL the vegetarian/vegan options! Amazing! We were both exhausted & drained, we had just come from radiation, **Tim was ill & not feeling good at all so we apologized to her right off the bat, so she didn't think we were rude... We had such an EXCEPTIONAL experience with Soph S & had to tell you about her! She went above & beyond to serve us with PURE KINDNESS! She was aware of Tim's situation and did everything possible to make him comfortable. She surely didn't have to do anything out of the ordinary, but she did! She talked to us, listened to Tim's story & had so much empathy! Tim & I were both crying when we left because it was so unexpected! We walked in, told the person at the front our name and were seated quickly. The restaurant is nice. It includes a little market in one section with various food items that you can purchase. There is also a seating area with couches near the market section. The restaurant has different sized tables for seating. Not long after being seated we were greeted by a waiter that did an excellent job taking care of us the entire time we were there. He took our drink order, gave us menus and some time to decide what we wanted. After a few minutes he brought us our waters and took our order. We ordered several items. El Olivo which is a garlic bread. It was okay. The bread was good. It was nice and warm and the garlic flavor was all on top. Whipped Feta which comes with grilled Naan and cucumber slices. The Naan was okay. It was a little cold and needed to be warmed up a little more for my liking but my kids ate it up. The cucumbers were fresh and crisp and the whipped feta was pretty good. It had a slight lemon flavor but not enough to where you could taste the lemon with every bite. Pork belly chicharron which had pork with avacado covered in a sauce. It came with tortilla chips. The tortilla chips were thick and crispy. Perfect for scooping up some of the pork belly. The pork belly was delicious. The sauce that covered it added flavor and the avacado was fresh. The Lamb chops came with Lamb, carrots and a puree. The lamb itself was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and was tender with each bite. The carrots were slightly sweet and the puree was soft. It was a good mix of different textures with each bite. The Truffle mac and cheese was a macaroni and cheese with chives and truffle flavor. This was very tasty. The macaroni was tender, the chives were spread out and added that slight onion flavor. The cheese was very flavorful. One of my kids ate almost all of this. Barbacoa Doughnuts which are mini doughnuts filled with barbacoa topped with a salsa. I don't really like barbacoa but I tried them and was pleasantly surprised. These were delicious. It was basically a soft and warm mini doughnut filled with flavorful barbacoa. The sauce on it added a slight spicy flavor. Patatas Bravas are potatoes with salsa and a garlic aioli sauce. These were very tasty. That salsa and aioli sauce are what gave this dish all of its yummy flavor. The potatoes had a crispy exterior with a soft interior. All of the ingredients mixed together made a very good side dish. One of my sons ordered the Dos Olivos Burger with Tater Tots. He said that the burger was okay. I tried it and I agreed. The tater tots were good. He ate those up with some ketchup. My other son ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwiches with everything on the side. He substituted a salad instead of the fries. He ate the salad up. He also ate the Fried chicken from the sandwich. He said it was good. He is not a fan of sesame seed bread so he opted not to eat the bun. I tried the red cabbage apple slaw that it comes with and it was okay. Lastly I ordered the Beet Salad which comes with beets, pears, and candied pecans. I don't usually eat beets but I wanted to try it. It was very good. The beet chunks were large and soft but not overly soft. The pears and the candied pecans added a crispier texture and the mixture of all of the ingredients along with the sauce that was on it made this a super sweet beet salad. Almost like a dessert. It was delicious. Overall the restaurant is a cool spot to visit. The market is a neat addition that adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

For parking, there is limited spots immediately in front of the restaurant, but there's a big lot right across which we went to first anywho! Walking in, there's a little bar to the left and the hosts are super nice. When guided to the table, the narrow area of seating lol people just be looking so I feel like they should paint it red on the floor so you're always like doing a runway walk...but I'm SO glad we didn't get seated there because it felt squishy. We got seated by a more open area and had a view of the playground which looks so fun for the littles!!! The menus are so clean, they weren't sticky like you might receive one at a more "bleh" breakfast place, you know it was just better here . They had a specials menu which basically caught our eye and mainly ordered off of that. Our server Erica was super duper nice, friendly, professional, and respectful! I didn't take any pictures of the place inside oopsies but mainly because I didn't want to invade anyone's privacy but it was nice seeing the others dine in there too like a little grandma meet up happening. Ordered: * (drink) raspberry peach palmer 7/10 * (summer 2026 special) champagne lobster omelet - not my meal just had a bite but with my taste buds it was too seafoody for me in the early morning but s/o loved it so probably 8.5/10? * (brunch speciality) hash brown Benedict with a add-on of the summer 2026 special raspberry white chocolate pancakes // okay writing this I realized I don't think I got any white chocolate in any of my bites or my s/o took it all. I loved the poached eggs on the Benedict were basically to perfection. It was so satisfying slicing through those eggs but I almost didn't want to break them definitely had a nice bounce lol. I really wish I could see how they packed the hash brown into those balls with the filling delish. I got the country potatoes as my choice I loved the little crispy bits they're my fave and like perfect amount of salt not too little not too much. We were given extra normal syrup for the pancakes and then adding the normal syrup made it seem like normal pancakes. And then clumps of like maybe brown sugar idk were just so hard to cut through... but it was so nice and soft, nice stack of whipped cream. 9/10 * the extra - Beignets. It comes with an orange marmalade jam I guess. It was a nice treat for sure! I guess I just wasn't craving it or in the mood. But it warms the soul, it felt like it just warmed me up!! Could not finish but wish we did bring it home haha wah. wasn't really wowed by the marmalade but it was still good I think if I had a coffee it'd be soooo much better so I need to order a coffee next time for sure 6/10 I can't wait to come back again. The coffees others ordered look SO good... defs needs to try one next time. Bathrooms - only one for each gender I believe and locked after once user. There were occasionally a fly in sight but common with the opened and closed doorways from both sides. Wait - none as well walked-in just a little under an hour after opening on a Thursday Seating - there are a lot of extra seating outside, I'd see how if you had like 6-10 year olds you could let them out and just play on the playground while you wait haha. In the morning the outdoor seating is mainly shaded and there are a few trees. There's a mix of booths and just tables. The walkway from the front where hostess is towards the back open area seating is kinda narrow but includes seating as well but makes it really cozy like you're in a diner if you get seated in the middle walkway I guess but I am just glad we didn't get seated there. Overall I highly recommend. Shoutout to Erica Thank you for being our server for our first dine-in... defs beats choosing takeout instead ! We walked it off to d&b's right afterwards but there's the park, and other stores galore around!
