From the second you walk in, this place has a very relaxed vibe and a nice subtle smell of coffee hits you (in a good way!) Being a first time customer I made the person at the counter aware of that, and he instantly made sure I felt comfortable and didn't rush me to order. He also suggested their most popular drink when I inquired about what would be a good thing to try as a first time guest. I am writing this , as I am sipping on the half moon latte and I can already tell I'll be back soon!

Alright, I'm no newbie to Summer Moon, a matter fact I'm a Stand for their moon milk, and non dairy alternative versions. So, while in the area, I was excited to visit an old and familiar friend! For those who have never visited the concept, I'll admit, the menu can feel confusion- how often are you asked to decipher the difference between a blue moon latte, 3/4 summer moon latte, 1/2 sumner moon latte, 1/4 summer moon latte, 1/8 summer moon latte etc. Aware of the concept, this was a drive thru visit, and while the service was "just okay", the Moroccan mint cold brew did not disappoint! So far so good! Best of luck to this location!

I've been here several times. The coffee is good and I like the little twist of moon milk. The staff is great and the customer service good. My main issue is a constant lack of seating. And the outside set up is less than ideal for shade or any sort of breeze. And both are fixable! Today a staff member took up an entire table for st least 30 minutes, getting up to work and then sitting back down. And another table was covered with someone's computer but no one in sight until after about 30 minutes the customer walked back into the shop. I love that they are busy but some seating solutions, including outdoors would go a long way!

I went to Texas this past weekend to visit a friend. Since we were going shopping in this area, we decided to stop for coffee first. Summer Moon was easy to find with plenty of parking and even a drive thru! The inside was so pretty, and we were immediately greeted. I normally go for Matchas but decided to branch out while on vacation. I inquired if the syrups were gluten-free, in particular the Blue Moon latte with lavender, which they let me know they were. I'll be honest I did think this drink was going to be blue or purple for aesthetics, lol. They make a special type of Moon milk, which is explained on their menu. I went the dairy free route with almond milk. My friend ordered the iced sugar cookie latte, I believe which was a holiday special. We were both highly impressed. Moreso, my friend who is a big coffee snob, I drink caffeine a few times a month. My friend is excited to bring her husband here. I liked that my coffee was sweet enough and not gritty at all. If I lived in the area I'd definitely come back to hang with friends or work remotely.

We popped in here for a quick energy recharge during our visit to Conroe and this place is super aesthetic and modern! The natural lighting and ample seating with natural lighting makes this a great place to get some work/studying done (plus there's plenty of outlets!) This place specializes in their 'Moon Milk', a sweet creamy addition to their drinks. I had the iced spiced chai latte with almond milk and my bf got the half moon latte. The half moon latte was a sweet and tasty drink, he usually prefers his drinks more on the less sweet side but he'll definitely be back to try again when he needs a caffeine fix I only order chai lattes when I visit a coffee shop, and this chai latte was really unique! It was blended but I could still taste the strong spices and I really loved how it all came together Overall, we'd definitely visit again!

We have been drinking Summer Moon coffee for years. We originally discovered Summer Moon when our daughter was in college in Austin, TX. The oak wood roasted coffee beans truly make a difference in the taste of the coffee. Also, the creamer is called "Moon Milk." Depending on your personal taste of desired sweetness, you can order a full moon (the sweetest option), a half moon, or a quarter moon. The best selling is the half moon. I prefer the quarter moon just because I don't like my coffee extremely sweet. They also have a variety of pastries. Some locations also have kolache's early in the morning. I was at this specific location in the afternoon and did not pay close attention to the pastry/kolache options. I am not 100% sure what they normally have. Bottom line - Fantastic coffee. It absolutely smokes the competition that is based in the Pacific Northwest. I highly recommend Summer Moon over anything from Seattle. If you have not tried it yet, you need to put your phone down and hustle on over and grab you a cup. Bon appétit, y'all.

Great coffee spot with a new location in Conroe, TX! Their coffee process truly makes a difference in the taste of their coffee drinks which is behind wood fired coffee roasting process. Ordered a half moon iced blue moon latte which was extremely good! You def taste the difference between this type of coffee compared to your standard fair. Would def be back and recommend also a great spot to catch up on work and study! Lots of seating available! Overall rating: 9/10

I asked for an iced coffee and what I received was room temperature coffee with very few ice bits. There was literally no ice in my iced latte. Not sure if I should be asking for extra extra ice or if someone wasn't paying attention, but I left dissatisfied with my coffee. This is a picture of what it looked like as I pulled away from the drive thru. I did have a few sips and seemed like the coffee taste good I'm just not a fan of hot/warm coffee, so I didn't drink much of it to tell for sure. read more

This location is right next to a boutique. A perfect spot to go shopping and grab coffee. Their cafe is set up very well. The music isn't too loud and everything is really neat. I've been wanting to try this place for about a year and a half now. I was so disappointed to have dealt with a rude employee. She didn't really want to help me when it came to trying to figure out how to build my drink or what options I had. Once I received my drink I was shocked that it tasted nothing like what I imagined. It was very bitter and not sweet at all. It tasted like just espresso and milk. I've heard really great things about Summer Moon so i'm going to give it another try. Maybe just a different location. A nice quality coffee! I go through the drive-thru for my brew and it's tasted great every time. I am a coffee connoisseur and have to have a great cup of coffee in the morning. Great service and very good drinks. This will absolutely be our go-to caffeine fix when we're back in the area. For newbies (such as myself), they have an explanation of the lattes on the wall. The staff was very patient with our large and confused group. We got a quarter moon latte, half moon iced late, iced matcha latte, and iced chai tea latte. I usually get lattes with no sweeteners, but the quarter moon was pleasantly sweetened. The half moon was sweeter than I prefer, but it was perfect for my husband who usually uses sugar free sweeteners. I didn't try the matcha latte but this is their normal order from Starbucks and they said this one was better than Starbucks. The chai tea latte had a good flavor though it wasn't quite as strong as our group prefers. But I like my chai to be able to stand up without a glass. Everything was enjoyable and we're excited to go back and try some other offerings. read more

They go for quality over quantity with their drinks here. The Iced Mocha Moon Latte (Iced Mocha) is rich, creamy & decadent. They use the crunch ice which is always a plus. The drive thru moves pretty fast but you lose the "coffee shop" feel with the employees just running your card & handing you your coffee, not a lot of personality. Definitely a place I want to explore more of the menu. read more

I really like Summer Moon. The interior is beautiful with tons of seating options. I love that they have merchandise to buy as well as tons of coffee grounds and k cup flavors. My wife is lactose intolerant so I was pleased to find that they have a ton of dairy-free options. Their signature moon milk which is a mix of milk, cream, and sweetener comes in both full dairy and non-dairy options. The spiced chai latte is my favorite. They also have pastries and sandwiches. Grabbed a matcha latte for the first time at this location and it was very enjoyable. Not too sweet (I asked for no moon milk, only regular) and rich in a way I can't describe. My wife and family already obsess over this place, especially in Austin locations. Was glad I was able to visit while in the woodlands area. The half moon coffee is really good! My complaint is that they don't accept cash. I collect cash here and there so my boys and I can enjoy treats like this and it doesn't come out of my grocery budget. unfortunately i didn't go in to order & experience the ambiance of the shop, but my family told me it was very clean & organized. i ordered a matcha latte-- which is how i determine how good a coffee shop is, and i would rate it 9.4/10. you could feel how smooth the matcha is, but the flavor wasn't very strong. i tasted more milk than matcha, but overall the drink was good for how quickly it came out. read more

We are frequent coffee consumers and try everything new that we can. Summer Moon in Conroe was quite good. Our server was very knowledgeable and willing to educate us on Summer Moon's claims to fame (primarily "Moon Milk", a sweet cream they make). We opted for our usual lattes with 2% milk and they were very good. Machines used were top notch professional grinder and a big La Marzocco espresso. Only disappointment was they only served in paper cups - we prefer our latte in a proper ceramic cup. Atmosphere / ambience was nice, everything was clean and organized. Food options were average (the usual pastries from an unremarkable supplier). read more

Absolutely amazing coffee. I love the moonmilk and the hint of oak in the coffee. I have never been a fan of lavender or mochas but this place completely changed my mind on both. I am now a huge fan of both so much that I'll gladly make the 20 minute drive to get some. My ONLY request for the owner is bigger sizes. 20 ounces is just cruel when you make such delicious coffee. I waited my turn for a good 4-5 minutes without realizing there was another unoccupied kiosk to my right. Whoops, wish there was someone there to tell me. The selection here is vast, not Cheesecake Factory menu vast, but it may come close including the level of customization. There are so many options, that it is helpful to have an employee to bounce questions off of. It's easy to make mistakes, and honestly, I think that's exactly what I did. I ordered a fruit tea off of the menu, and added a few items that I thought were complimentary...they were not. Although the quality is great, this may be a spot to stick to the menu as is for those of us seeking more guidance .

Only giving 3 stars because the staff were extremely nice and helpful with explaining the drinks to us. Now onto the drinks... I got the Iced Matcha Moon latte and needless to say it just wasn't good at all. It was extremely milky and the matcha was definitely not the best quality matcha. My partner got the Iced Winter Moon latte, the espresso tasted like a watery shot and was also very milky. Overall, not the best coffee we've had but the service was amazing. read more
