When ordering my drink I was given some recommendations based off of my usual order of chai lattes and learned about a dirty vanilla chai latte. We went through the drive thru and had a very pleasant experience! Our barista was so friendly and gave us recommendations when we said that we were interested in buying some whole beans to grind and enjoy for ourselves at home. We ended up purchasing the special Summer Moon Thanksgiving blend and were very happy with our purchase. We also noticed that they have a nice board listing all of their seasonal items as well as offerings from Boss Bagel! I wish we lived closer to this location! We went here for a quick little pick-me-up. We got the Moon Glacier with java chip. The java chip flavor was coming through and was yummy. It was quite sweet and I would consider this to be a dessert, not a daily coffee. I definitely want to go back and try a less intense drink, just so that I can experience the moon milk. I've always heard of Summer Moon but had never tried it, now I'm wishing there was one on my side of town (Selma/Cibolo Area) I asked if they could add a espresso shot to their horchata and they said yes, it was delicious. This place just opened so I had to give it a try. I am a big coffee drinker so to have one open up right where I live I was hoping it would be good. It is nice a quiet great for me to study in hopefully as more discover this little charm I will still find a seat. This place is across the street from me. About 1 minute versus a Starbucks about 3 minutes. Decided to give this place a try- actually I came a couple of times. The moon milk is amazing, I actually like to purchase it separately so you can take home and add it to your coffee. I also really like the "global" coffee. Reason why I'm giving it 3 stars is the price is comparable to Starbucks and for a place to serve you in a little bucket versus handing your drinks to you during the time of covid is laughable. Why you ask? Because when we pay we insert the cards ourself but yet they want you to sign a pad with your fingers when multiple people sign the same pad and they don't wipe after each use. How would I know? Because I watch them- and you can see finger prints all over. So what's the point? Maybe after covid I'll come back. But they need to get rid of that pad everyone signs with a finger. For all you know I just picked my nose with that finger I signed. read more

I absolutely love Summer Moon. They are alway friendly, polite, and very courteous. The Summer Moon during the winter for hot drinks and the Winter Moon for their cold drink are both equally great. If you want something without the caffeine get their frozen lemonade, and for an absolutely outstanding treat you have to try the Espresso Milkshake.
