I'm standing there with my suit in my hands, and I ask him, "Are you closing?" He said, "No... I'm going to lunch... come back in an hour." I said, "That's Ok... I'll just go to another tailor." He had no idea how far I traveled to give them my "return" business." I wish the other guy still owned the store. He was a very nice man. I dropped the suit off at another tailor in MoVal. Either way, Z&M won't be getting my business again. It's the end of an era, I guess.

One trying on tailored pants and saw his satisfaction with his body language and words of appreciation to the Tailor. The other customer came in to pick up a jacket that was completed, tried it on, and shared his gratitude with the work and was surprised that the Tailor had also worked on an inside pocket! I figured I would see if I could have it altered, I called around a few places and a lot of them were either too busy or taking appointments for the following week. I only had a few days before I left town for the wedding. Cruz Tailors said they would see and could do a rush order for an added fee. I came in paid and picked up in two days. I loved the way it came out and the fit was so much better. I felt more comfortable enjoying myself without being nervous my dress would fall. Would come back and they really seem to know what they are doing. I can't say for sure price point wise if it's lower or higher but I believe it was very reasonable for what I needed as well as the speed. It's easy to find in the heart of the downtown area just a little away from the Main Streets. Street parking but there is a lot close by if you need to use it. Very convenient and right off the freeway. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will say for bigger jobs you want to give them time and yourself. I had a bad feeling when I took my machine in. I tried to tell the lady that there was a button on…read morethe front that didn't work. She basically ignored my comment. I decided since it was busy, that was the problem. Heidi (whom I've dealt with for about 30 years) called me and said the screen was cracked, the case was cracked and the machine was not repairable. Told her I'd come and pick it up expecting to see cracks and scratches all over it. That was not the case. No cracks, no scratches. Brought the machine home, plugged it in. It sews just fine Except for the button I told her about. The button still does not work! But that is all that seems to be wrong. So I was charged $50.00 for them to say that it couldn't be repaired. Don't know what they were thinking and at this point I don't care because I will find another place to take my sewing machines.
