The bucket with all their unnecessary rebuild junk left next to the toilet. For those who have frustrations dealing with AI and auto-booking... they have an annoying robot who books appointments who cannot differentiate members from non-members. Took two phone calls and 6 minutes to connect to an actual human.The things meant to help are harming us. Pay people, not machines. Regarding machines, the plumber took a quick look and confirmed it was the fill value not doing the job. Something I told my mom I could fix easily with a part from ACE. He quoted $368 for a rebuild, which didn't need to be done. I replaced the flapper and chain about a 6 months prior. Not only is this an easy DYI fix with a $20 part, but he tossed the 6 month old flapper and chain. He tossed the work I just did. THIS DID NOT NEED TO BE DONE and it's insane to charge that much. It already costs members $69 to come out, and $368 is with the member discount. I am not the home owner, so I have no say so in approving the work. I have builder friends and my neighbor (HOA) agreed the price is insane. $437 to fix a $20 problem. This is 2026 and my mom is on a very limited fixed income. I spoke to Ben the manager, asked for a breakdown. If the up-charge was the parts or labor. He said there is no break down and that's what it costs. I could not have been more angry with these people. If you know nothing about plumbing, than learn. Because it ridiculous to be charged that much for something so easy to fix. read more

"Extremely disappointed with my experience. I scheduled and an appointment with them for a simple repair, replacing a burst pvc pipe not longer than 40 inches and I asked over the phone how much will it cost for them to come out and do it. I was told that it will cost $99 for the tech to come out to look at the issue and if I print a coupon from their website for $99, then they will only charge me for the repair and the girl on the phone said " it will cost about $100.00" However , when the technician came, he looked at my car licence plate and realized that I am from Illinois, he barely looked at the system before trying to push a massive, overpriced replacement package worth thousands of dollars. Then when I told him, please just repair this, he looked around for a minute pretending to write and estimate and came up with whopping $750.00 estimate and tried to push a membership for $11+ a month for some unnecessary work, like checking this and that and gave me a discount totalling $150 bringing the estimate to $550.00 for 40 inch piece of pvc plus labor. The tech also wanted to come and fish at my property, he said " I have your number and I will call you to come and fish and will cook up everything I will catch" out of embarrassment, I said sue anytime we are at home!! My husband was able to replace the pipe for $7.00. This is a similar to another experience I had with a chimney repair company in northwest Indiana. The son of the owner who wasn't 12 year at the time, said that you guys are coming to live in indiana because the taxes are cheap here and the father gave me an estimate of 10 time what it would actually cost. They did a good job fixing my plumbing and the tech was experienced. They are very expensive. First off they charge a $99 service call fee just to come out. Maybe that would be ok except for the fact that this fee will not be applied to the job if you decide to hire them. Beyond irritating. Then, they quoted me $750 for an easy repair that required $20 in parts and they admitted would take about 20 Minutes. There were a few other things I needed done but the price was just too high, even considering they were there already. read more

As per our other reviews for Summers, we gave it a 5. Today we had our routine maintenance checkup. Our technician, Ken, arrived promptly on time. He was very respectful. He checked our heat unit and cleaned it and showed us what he was doing and explained what was going on. He showed us some tips that we can do to keep the system working properly. Ken was very professional and personable. In making the appointment with the staff, the ladies were awesome to speak with. Comforting to know there are professional companies like Summers out there. They have set the bar extremely high in professionalism. Great Job, Summers. We always recommend you. The responses we have received from friends and family are the same as I am reporting. We had to have gas lines replaced in our basement and I had no idea who even does this. When I going out I needed a plumber I called Tyler Nieves because I knew he was one. He suggested his company. We called them out told them our issue and they came right out to look and give us a quote. The very next day first thing in the morning they were out to get the job done. Their knowledge and understanding were a nice comfort Brandon, Tyler and another young man whose name I can't remember were absolutely great. I highly recommend Summers to anyone looking for help. They even saved my mom money by offering a yearly service plan. Now things she used to do they will come out and do it for her. read more

They quoted my mom on a brand new air conditioner and it was only out of Freon, rip off artist! Saved $6200.

I would give 0 stars if possible. This is the worst business in Northwest Indiana hands down. If you would like a contract that's really expensive only to have work NEVER completed this is the entity for you.. I can honestly report that they were unable to fix a toilets guts for 5 years. This is an unbelievably average job "doing the toilet " for a regular homeowner let alone a plumber! They cancel every appointment made way in advance to accommodate emergency calls I am guessing. I am sure it's a higher charge for those homeowners in need. We calculate 5 cancelation to date. Do not be fooled by the fancy paint job on their trucks as they haven't a clue as to how to do any of the maintenance let alone repairs that you would need owning a home. read more

Got an estimate and went with it. The heat and humidity has been stifling! Summers showed up on time and ready to install a new furnace. Took about 3 hours (as promised). The 2 guys were very respectful and kept us informed. Now I just want the furnace to work well. I would definitely hire again. read more

Summers took advantage. Saw my wife was desperate to fix a busted pipe that was flooding my crawl space while I was at work. $386 to change a 1/2 ball valve that cost less than $6. Technicians were only there less than 20 minutes and 15 minutes of that time was trying to sell my wife a maintenance program. read more
