Woke up one morning to find we had no cable. I tried several different things in rebooting the cable box but nothing worked. I called Summit. First of all, back home we have Comcast! Everyone knows, when you call Comcast, their customer service absolutely sucks!! You talk to someone in India or Indonesia and you can't understand a word they say! They transfer you to one person who then transfers you to someone else and your problem doesn't get solved. If you're lucky, you can get an appointment for a serviceman to come out 3 weeks later. Absolutely horrible Customer Service!!! When I called Summit I was absolutely shocked!!!!! that the guy who answered phone spoke English and was in Orlando Florida. His name was Jack. He got my cable up and running in no time! A half hour later my WiFi went out. I called again and a woman answered the phone who was also in Florida. She was very helpful and got my internet back online. She also squeezed me in on a Friday, the same day for a service call just to make sure everything was ok! A couple hours later I received a call from Summit telling me that my internet has been connected and running fine for the last 2 hours. Who does that????? Certainly not Comcast!!!! A half hour later Jules Jameson showed up from Summit to check everything out. Jules was Phenomenal!!! He went above and beyond of what he was sent to do. He was courteous, Clean and friendly. He checked my WIFI as well as my Cable. Jules made sure everything in the house that was supposed to be connected to the Internet was connected. Jules was Great!!! I wish Comcast had a Jules Jameson back home!!! i would definitely say without a doubt that Jules Jameson is an asset to your Organization. This is the first time dealing with Summit! It has been the most memorable experience that I have ever had with any Customer Service!!!!! Summit Broadband is leaps and bounds ahead of Comcast! I work from home and quickly realized my internet stopped working. Then the network couldn't be found at all. Unfortunately, this was the worst timing for me because I had an all day, back to back to back meetings; something that only happens once per quarter. I was at the mercy of my phone's hot spot and was burning through most of my data in just 1 day. Thank goodness for Reynaldo Garbey for coming to my rescue. With his perseverance, he made sure my internet service was working again. Reynaldo was very polite, kind and reassured me (I was freaking and stressing out) my internet will operate again. He even set me up with the latest modem/router box. For the first time ever in years, I was able to open a calendar invite that contains over 500 people, add and send out a request without the application crashing. i can't convey how ecstatic i am because my work group outlook inbox ALWAYS crash on me just breathing on it wrong, regardless what state i resided or internet service. A previous technician tried to set me up with the latest technology, but wasn't able to get it to work. I thought my work group email was a pain point i had to endure. I didn't tell him that my only expectation was to get my previous modem/router to work, that the same technology didn't work before, or my about my outlook. His service and troubleshooting exceeded my expectation. I can't fully express my joy and relief to be able to have internet service again, especially during one of my most stressful work time period. Valerie, the service representative at the Summit Broadband Office on 6060 Collier Boulevard, Naples, goes above and beyond. Through her dedication and follow through, a long standing problem that was unsolvable by other Summit personnel was immediately solved. After meeting personally with Valerie in the Naples office, my land line was successfully transferred to Summit from another provider within 24 hours -- and I was able to keep my phone number. Thus, the phone service I had been waiting for for several weeks was activated. Valerie listened patiently to my problem and immediately contacted someone in the technical area that she believed would be able to solve the problem (which he did the next day). Valerie called back when she said she would; she was courteous; and she was knowledgeable. I feel that Valerie's follow through on this problem was exemplary and deserves recognition. We are "snowbirds" and arrived back in sunny Naples Dec 19th. Our "triple play" service was working fine! On Sunday Dec 26 around 8:45pm the TV went blank; however internet and phone were working. I called on Monday Dec 27 @ 7am to report the issue. The agent worked for over an hour only to say we would need a service call; however it would be Jan 5! We bought an antenna to at least get local channels. Summit called Dec 30 indicating a service technician would arrive Friday Dec 31. Well, Reynaldo G came and knew exactly what was wrong!! He changed the equipment in the communications closet and modem in the unit. Now everything is working and the internet speed is much faster!! Let me start out by saying I am not a fan of summit broadband. Constant problems. No on demand. Reception goes in and out all the time, buffering constantly, but the reason for the 4 star review is my recent interaction with my service technician Alex B.. he was FANTASTIC. He helped immensely. Went over and above. Pleasant , friendly , and knowledgeable . He took a bad taste in my mouth for Summit and made it pleasurable. But I will still pray everyday for Comcast to take over my community. Please Comcast buy out summit so we can have reliable cable and internet and voice remote control. After calling six times and being told my area wasn't serviced, Austin took the time to ask for my community name and immediately confirmed that they do provide service here. I came into the store having concerns about some over charges on my account. I could not understand where these extra charges where coming from. The manager Chris came out and helped me understand my bill. He also credited me back to my account! Had an amazing experience I've ever had with a business manager. He was so kind and understanding. I requested service for both tv and internet issues that surfaced about every 3 days. No signal- tv went black Messages to call customer service - no signal. I finally had a technician who was competent and thorough. He replaced and adjusted the equipment and made sure that the 3 televisions three Rokus and iPad and MAC and printer were all working before he left. Had a problem with my internet and cable. Summit sent out Reynoldo Garvey to address my problem. Rey quickly diagnosed the problem as an issue with the fibre optics out on the street. Rey made an appointment to have fiber optic technician at my house the next day. Rey had Neil come out and Neil ran new cable and had me up and running in an hour.
