This is a great local coffee shop. They always have very friendly service and the place is super clean. The restrooms are always kept up well and there are even a couple of toys and coloring things for the kids to do while you're there. They have very comfy seating in the back and some regular style tables in the front. How cuteeee! I was looking for a coffee shop in the area and stumbled across Summit Coffee when another coffee shop was super crowded. Super cute coffee shop! It's definitely aesthetically pleasing! Lots of seating but it gets busy quick! Definitely a place to do homework, work, a place to read. But reading is prob better during the week because it's busy on the weekends. I only tried the red velvet muffin and it was good! The customer service was ok. I think the employee, was maybe overwhelmed with it being busy. So there wasn't any greeting. But I would still go back! It's a good ambiance. Lots of customers catching up with friends or family! Friendly and quick service. I did appreciate that having a toddler with me. Also nice that they had some toys and coloring sheets for kiddos. My coffee was okay. Head hurt after... I noticed they have an automatic espresso machine (meaning they don't weight grams of espresso for every pull) & That almost made me hesitate ordering knowing my coffee wouldn't be great. This is my new go-to coffee spot in Dunwoody. They have the best latte's I've tried in the area. They are located in a quaint shopping area with plenty of parking and other nearby restaurants. I love their seasonal flavors which are all typically good. I've most recently tried the pumpkin cheesecake latte, maple sea salt chai, and blueberry pie latte. I always get my drinks with almond milk and I love that they don't up charge for substitutions. I usually get my drinks to go but there is sufficient seating if you wanted to dine in. They also provide free Wi-Fi. The only con I have is that most times I've been here, there has been a longer than preferred wait. However, that's speaks to how good it is. There are plenty of spots in the parking lot. The coffee shop looks small in the front but has more seating outdoors and in the back. The staff are very friendly and energetic. I like that they offer to reheat the pastries for you. I tried their velvet muffin, cinnamon twist, and gruyere sesame braid. They all tasted good, but my favorite was the cinnamon twist. I had come here for coffee because the decoration is cute. But I come here for review for the hospitality of Lisa who warmed up the pastries for me. She explained every pastry and other savory options. We had a miscommunication because of my communication turned off after working and they thought I wanted a blackberry muffin so she gave me both blackberry danish and red velvet muffin! FREE WIFI here with lots of outlet options for your electronic devices. Keep in mind their hours of operation. Definitely for the early birds and not for the night owls. They open form 7am to 6pm/7pm. Coffee and bakery treats are found here with price range around 5-15 dollars give or take. I had the mocha iced coffee and it does the job for around 7$ tip included. I also had the matcha with blueberry cold foam which taste exactly what it's name. A hint of blueberry that is carried by good matcha. Water glasses and spout readily available for self serve. Really cool place in a nice shopping center with ample parking. I've tried the iced coffee and the hot latte, both delicious. The iced coffee was a blueberry flavored iced latte, very interesting with a nice thick foam on top. The hot latte was a brown sugar flavor and was a nice proportion of milk and espresso. The only thing I don't get, is they add double shots of espresso if you want an extra shot. So you can't do a single shot. They also have lots of pastries, I've tried the gruyere scone and the banana nut muffin. Both a nice touch to go with some good coffee. The baristas and cashiers are all super friendly and always have a good recommendation. Plenty of space to spread out with your laptop or a book. Check them out. read more

I absolutely love Summit Coffee! I first visited the locations in Asheville, NC and fell in love! I then visited the Emory Village location, and I'm finally getting a chance to try the one in Dunwoody. They are always consistently good, and their customer service is excellent! I really like the new location--most of the workers are helpful, and the drinks are consistently good. As a repeat customer, I would love to see more healthy drink options available. Specifically, I suggest offering 100% unsweetened Japanese matcha. Right now, the matcha served contains too much added sugar, which led me to go back to Whole Foods for my matcha drinks. Banana cream pie is good however the front gal (pettie sz with pleaded hair with glasses) who took my order is NOT friendly at all. Price is not clear on the menu. The design of the inside is so nice and the atmosphere was great! I ordered the banana cream pie latte as recommended by the lady at the cash register who said it's popular and they use real bananas. When it came out it had no cold foam and tasted like a normal iced latte. When I asked if I grabbed the right one (it was the only one on the counter after she called my name) they looked back at the screen and she said she just forgot the cold foam. I asked if the flavor is only in the cold foam because it tastes like a normal latte and she snapped back and said "No I added the flavor, I just forgot the foam". If she added the flavor, then she added the flavor, but it tasted just like a normal iced latte with no banana at all, and she was not thrilled that I asked about the flavor. My raspberry danish was fantastic and my husband's marshmallow latte was great too! I just wish my experience was better read more
