You can actually watch the nitro percolating and settling in the glass when it's poured, which is such a treat. To go with the coffee, I ordered the breakfast burrito and a chocolate pastry. The burrito was delicious and generous in size, served with a salsa that brought a great kick without being overbearing. The chocolate pastry was fresh, flaky, and hit the spot. Service from the staff on the first floor was attentive and helpful, and the space has a solid energy to it. Parking is tight (the lot only holds a handful of cars), and while the noise level is moderate, it's nothing a good pair of headphones can't handle if you're looking to get some focus work done. Wish I were a local so I could make this a regular routine. 5 stars!

The drip was very weak and the nitro bitter. The quiche was just slightly over salted. I liked the spinach empanada, but found it heavy on the salt too. The Patagonia was pretty delicious and had great flavor. When I took a bite of the breakfast empanada, I couldn't name any of the ingredients in the filling. Overall, gave me the caffeine boost and sustenance I needed, but I probably wouldn't return.

This guys are a small batch coffee roaster based out of Southend and just rolled out "Joy" their coffee truck. For this particular special event, the truck was offering three types of waffles and coffee: dark, medium, light... with a hot or cold option. I also got to find out about the newest crave in the west coast "nitro coffee" so it coffee made like a beer. I will try it the next time I see JOY at an event. Looks like this company is working toward a coffee space... The climbs story is super interesting and lots of room for growth. Looks like everything they create is made with love and care. To provide people with a great product and contribute to people's experience of life. Looking forward to seeing them open up their own old world coffee bar. Exciting times to be living in southend!

Just hang a right upon entering the store, and you'll find it. If the barista isn't there, ring the metal bell on the counter, and they'll come take your order. The coffee is such high quality, and the craft lattes are flavorful and balanced. Each drink is prepared individually when you order, and the lattes take about 5 minutes to be ready. I think the quality justifies the slightly higher price tag. The Belgian Mocha is rich while not being cloyingly sweet. The Vanilla Spice is well balanced and comforting. You have your choice of milk for the lattes (including my typical preference, oat). I absolutely recommend swinging by whenever you're craving a cup of the good stuff.
