Unfortunately, I spilled it almost right away, completely on me. What stood out was how the staff handled it. My son and I decided to walk over Saturday morning so I could meet the lovely Ms. See Bird Go who spins her tunes on select Saturday mornings at Night Swim. I wasn't sure if it's a day party but there's no reason for it to be that loud you couldn't talk too each other inside. The cafe itself is super cute, bright, and nice layout with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Ordering was fine, however it took over 30 minutes for the egg and cheese sandwich, and avocado toast that came with literally one piece of toast. This is crazy for $10?! There's no way avocado toast can cost this much and only be one slice. I ordered cold brew that was not strong at all, they never asked if I wanted any milk, cream, or sweetener so had to go back and forth. I was disappointed in the experience here. Plenti tables and chairs, water bucket for fur babies. I love the coffee with nice design, they serve it in this pretty green glass cup. This past Sunday (4/13) I had a super nice experience with the barista. Usually they yell your name when your order is redy, but this time I got my coffee served to my table, then my sandwich as well. What a nice way of treating me on a Sunday morning. I stopped in here after traveling by many times and never stopping. One day, I was running too late to go to another coffee shop, so I decided to stop by, and now this is my favorite coffee shop. The ambiance is minimalist and modern with a Nordic aesthetic. The staff is super sweet and hip, which adds to the overall vibe. Every time I get a hot, oat milk matcha latte with maple cardamom syrup. It is the perfect ease into your morning and tastes like a warm hug. I also LOVE their food. The tomato feta quiche is out of this world, as is the bacon, egg, and cheese on everything bagel. Both were suggested to me by the barista and were spot-on. The flavors are divine. The other thing that the baristas introduced me to was the Odeko app, which is the order-ahead platform they use that caters to increasing patronage at local coffee shops. Brilliant! Coffee is amazing, we get the beans regularly and they are always super smooth. The shop itself is super cute and a great space for working. The coffee cake was amazing and super tasty. Maybe this is due to time of day, (I went in around 12:40) but I got a focaccia sandwich and they were out of turkey, so I got a replacement with bacon. The sandwich was not great, the bottom piece of focaccia was very wet, but the bread itself was a bit hard, so the bottom piece ended up being like a sponge from what I assume was from the tomato juices. The overall taste of the sandwich was quite overpowering of the bacon and I unfortunately couldn't taste any other ingredients other than the bacon. The sandwich would have probably been much better with turkey as originally intended. Overall, everything is a bit pricey, but for the small portion of sandwich (and no sides) and for how hard and dry the bread was, it was pretty disappointing. If I could give a zero star review I would. Barista did not want to accommodate my customizations- and they were nothing crazy just a milk switch. She also just wasn't very pleasant. She did not ask for "here" or "to go", so she assumed and put it in a glass "for here", which is fine, but she got upset when I asked for a plastic to go cup. She also messed up my order and didn't seem to care to fix it. Overall vibe was off and negative. Coffee also tastes horrible but that could be because I didn't get what I ordered. I felt the need to post this review so that they could realize what changes to make to better new customers experience's. They should focus on training their baristas on customer service. read more

Some online searching led me to Night Swim and I was NOT disappointed. The individual working the bar (Sid or Syd I believe?) was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and personable. The breakfast sandwich (I added bacon) was bomb and well worth the price. Their coffee is also spectacular and it's clear they know what they're doing when it comes to sourcing, roasting, and preparing it. I spent about 6 hours working here today and never felt out of place or that I was taking up too much room. The layout is extremely conducive to remote working or cooking with a plethora of outlets conveniently located by nearly all of the seats. The employees were even kind enough to wait to ask folks to leave until 3:30 (even though they closed at 3 and all of us silly geese were just working away). It feels very personal, it always arrives quickly, shipped out the day it is roasted, really great packaging, really, the whole enchilada! I discovered them quite by accident; attending a 5 day professional SCA barista workshop in Cornelius, NC, (Trail Blaze Coffee Academy ) and, believe me, they had a lot of great coffees for us, but the coffees from this relatively small local roaster was so good, I had to order more when I got back to New York, and I sometimes think learning about these guys might've been the highlight of that entire experience! read more

Their new space on the edge of Noda provides incredible natural light, open work space, and a warm atmosphere. Every drink and food item on their menu is a must have! Their items are a bit pricey, however, for a considerable reason... their syrups, focaccia, pastry's, quiche (amongst most items) are all made in-house. Additionally, the company sources ingredients, including their milk, locally which incurs higher costs. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and they work hard to deliver great service and tasty coffee. Love the space and will return! read more

I stumbled across this coffee place one morning on the way to work. I must say, im so glad I did! I decided to try their Avocado toast & OMG it has been the BEST avocado toast I have tried anywhere! It's so delicious! It has toasted almonds, pickled onions, and a harissa sauce that, in my opinion, makes the avocado toast! At first, I thought all those different ingredients would be overwhelming, but it was not. It all blended so well together. The employee told me that it was a fan favorite, and now I see why! It is on the pricier side. It's almost $10 for the toast, BUT I feel it's definitely worth it. Any chance I get, I stop buying and get the Avocado toast for sure. I ordered a vanilla latte, and it was also delicious. It had just the right amount of vanilla but not too overpowering where I didn't taste the coffee. This shop has a cute little seating area next to floor to ceiling windows and surrounded by natural light and plants. The ambiance is definitely a really chill, quiet vibe. We arrived at the counter and the worker ran away and asked someone else to take our order, which was fine. But he was rude, condescending, and none of them seemed like they wanted to be there. I ordered a sandwich, I was starving after a long morning at work. He went back to ask the chef if that was okay. She immediately started moaning and complaining, snapping at him. And SWEARING. Dropping the f-bomb and being wildly inappropriate. "This has happened so many times now" what people ordering food before the kitchen closes? It's a sandwich. I'll go back there and make it myself in two minutes. I get it if it's 1:59 or a few minutes before. But she had plenty of time, and even if she didn't, no need to be so rude about it.
