Had an empanada & an iced matcha, so delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upstairs was a really quiet peaceful place to work or read.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back.

It was ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cozy spot and the empanadas were good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Coffee got the job done but it wasn't great. Service was efficient and friendly. It'll do in a pinch.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun coffee shop we tried on our weekend in Charlotte.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a decent line, but service was quick, we got two drip coffees and several breakfast empanadas to try plus a yogurt parfait and a chocolate croissant, to feed our family of six. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We found plenty of seating in their upstairs lounge area, and enjoyed our coffees and breakfast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ham and cheese and patagonia empanadas were especially delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a great local spot, good vibes, good coffee, good food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband walked there the next morning to take a bag of beans home with him as a souvenir.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I walked in here and I knew the coffee was going to be good. It's like you can smell but also just the ambience gave me the gut feeling I was going to be happy when I got a latte.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly staff who gave a good recommendation, line was moving (although it was longer), and the coffee was perfectly favored. Didn't take all that long to get a latte either! They have vegan pastries, I didn't try one but I will be back because I love when there are allergy friendly options! The parking wasn't easy but what is in Plaza Midwood. I parked about a block away because they have a small parking lot- it's not the easiest to get in and out of!

Great location in Plaza Midwood with its own parking lot and plenty of seating. There's indoor seating, an upstairs area, and outdoor seating, so it never feels cramped. My go-to is an iced honey vanilla latte, and theirs was smooth and really well balanced. For food, I got The Goat burrito and it definitely hit the spot. It was filling, flavorful, and perfect for breakfast. Everything tasted fresh and worked really well together.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a perfect place to grab a delicious cup of coffee, a breakfast pastry (I was shocked to see they had empanadas), and get some work done via their free WiFi.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Been coming here for ages and if you're reading this...I highly recommend you start to, too!

Worse customer service I've ever experienced. No greeting when we came in and wasn't acknowledged until after five minutes. The matcha wasn't mixed properly and has clumps of matcha at the bottom. Was served to my friend and I unmixed, cup covered in the drink, and set down very rudely. Worse 8 dollars I've ever spent.

Good coffee and good GOAT breakfast burrito. Service was pretty quick and [[HIGHLIGHT]]cute indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of people "working from home" on Friday here![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect spot to grab a small bite and coffee with some friends![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Small group of us (6 total) met up on Saturday around 9am. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was not crowded - looks like we had just beat the rush though - and we snagged a picnic table outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Weather was great so it was awesome to be able to enjoy the fresh air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a mimosa and a few empanadas (breakfast, vegana, and tomato basil?). My friends got some lattes and other empanadas as well - we ended up getting 6 for $21, so a nice little discount for the larger order (normal $4/ea). We all enjoyed our food and drinks and had some quality time hanging out together. Pricepoint, very standard/fair, and service was good and speedy for how things started picking up a bit. Love that this is in such a walkable area but also does have a dedicated parking lot. Since my friends live nearby, I definitely see us returning soon! @azfitfoodfun

Ridiculously delish! Homemade and bursting with flavor. I will definitely be coming back. The staff was wonderful and kind. It had a really homey feel. We sat upstairs in the sun and watched so many people enjoy themselves at this place:) highly recommend! I got the spinach, breakfast, and mushroom empanadas with a hazelnut latte. Excellent espresso with homemade syrup! Loved it thank you giddy goat! Will definitely be coming back. p.s. (get both of the sauces. its worth it!)

Five stars for two pleasant hours on a Thursday morning with my laptop getting some work done out of the house and experiencing a little change of scenery. It was awesome that not only did The Giddy Goat have a cortado on the menu, they actually knew what it was. My cortado was excellent - 2 ounces of espresso and two ounces of steamed (not foamed) milk served in a short glass. They have a dedicated parking space (nice to find in Plaza Midwood) and I was able to find a comfortable table next to a power outlet. Wifi worked well. This was a fabulous spot for morning coffee and some out-of-office working. [Review 2540 of 2024 - 3992 in North Carolina - 23551 overall]

What a cute coffee shop.. Parking can be a nightmare as the parking lot is super tiny, and they seem to get a lot of traffic. I came on at Saturday morning around 9:30 am. I walked in and the line was not that bad, and moved fairly quickly. However, when I turned around it got really long very quickly! Happy I got there at a good time. The space is tight on the main level, but they do have outdoor seating and an upper level, so plenty of space overall. I ordered the gingerbread latte, and two empanadas (one spinach and cheese, the other chicken) I really enjoyed the spinach and cheese pastry but not so much the chicken one. I also wanted to try the pistachio crossaint and asked the cashier if they had any more, to which she replied if they did they would bring them down. So, I got the hazelnut one instead. After, I paid for my items they brought the pistachio croissants down..... By this time the line was entirely too long for me to go back and try to order what I really wanted.. She should have asked someone how long of a wait it would of been for more, so I could have just paid for it and waited. I was a bit disappointed, as this was one of the items I really wanted to try. The gingerbread latte was so good. My favorite item so far. When I come back, I'll try to come earlier to beat the crowd and hopefully I'll be able to try the pistachio crossaint!

That particular day, I had a bad experience at another coffee shop after wasting money on an iced latte that was horrid. When I walked into Summit, I said to the barista, look I can't take another bad coffee, do I have to tell you I want it sweet in order to get an iced latte that isn't bitter? The barista took the time to speak with me regarding my experience and share how Summit makes their coffee and syrups. She even let me sample one. That resulted in a great experience as I purchased the enjoyable Birthday Cake Summit Special ($6.60). While this shop is far from my residence, I definitely will go back whenever I'm in the area.

Service was friendly and efficient. I got a large chai latte and peppermint tea which came out to about $10. The chai was ok.. it's a store bought mix that is on the sweeter and more mild side. I probably would not get this again and would order an espresso based latte instead (only because I like a strong chai and it's hard to adjust the flavor of a premade mix). Overall they seems to have a good variety of coffee based drinks to choose from. A few pastries available as well. The merch looked cute too!

A minute after I sat down, a lovely couple tried to squeeze the vintage wooden booth that looked like it was built before the civil war. Cute tho but tiny. I told them they were fine to join me so they could sit in the comfy chairs! And that I didn't mind. So they were grateful to join my spot back here in the last room. I went here for the first time the other night while searching for a healthy meal. The atmosphere was very laid back with relaxing lighting & a spacious patio space as well. It's a market too so they have multiple refrigerators with bottled & canned drinks you can grab and go with. They also have a full bar. Currently I'm trying to stay away from fried food & Red meat so I wanted some chicken. The only chicken dish was a dish with fried chicken. I opted to get a veggie and grains bowl & added roasted chicken thighs. The dish came with quinoa, beats, & sweet potatoes. I also got a side of Brussel sprouts which were ok at best (needed to be cooked just a little longer). Outside of that, the dish was really good & filling. I'll definitely be back. Also one thing to add, I initially ordered the dish with fried chicken & was told that the fried chicken could be substituted. After I paid, the manager came over & explained that the dish couldn't be substituted for grilled chicken & worked with me to get something that I actually wanted, that's how I ended up with the bowl. So great service on his part.
