Wow this Japanese cafe is so good! I ordered the mushroom tartine and it was so delicious with the egg, pickled onions, cheese, and bread. The braised dashi sauce was very flavorful, and the bread was soft and thick. The hex waffle was also really good with the honey miso butter. It was very fluffy and light. I really enjoyed my iced chai as well! The food and drinks came out quick and the workers are nice. I love the blue decor and there's lots of seating.

Everything was tasty. They were busy and the food took about 20 minutes to come out which felt like a lot for a walk up counter spot. I wish they had a water station so you don't need to go to the bar for a water.

The customer service was good. Nice space. However, the matcha was not good. Also, the egg sandwich wasn't good either.

I'm not a coffee guy so order an iced ginger turmeric for my drink mid morning after walking the grounds. Spam Musubi was why I entertained the idea of visiting here. Japanese egg sando will be my next menu item to try. Lots of people were here inside and outside. Coffe shots available from different regions. Free parking on huge empty lot in Campground North.

    Drowned!! Not eatable

I didn't order a coffee, but I've heard it's good. I got a salad and it was drowned in dressing. It also took forever to make. Not enough beets either despite it being a beet salad.

This was my first time to Hex Coffee. Parking at Camp North End was a bit confusing for a first timer, but there are plenty of lots to park. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, which was good, but lukewarm. The Brekky Sando was extremely greasy and soggy. I would not recommend. The inside is small and seating can be very limited and hard to find a spot. I had high hopes and unfortunately I am not in a hurry to go back.

    Iced vanilla latte

I got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and let me just say....... It's the worst latte i've ever had i can barely drink it. It tasted so nasty guys i will not come back. Save your $8 somewhere else please

Where do I start? After just moving to Charlotte and looking for a great coffee spot, I was immediately in awe at the selections and variety had to offer! Amazing iced vanilla latte (my go to) and even more amazing breakfast??? I definitely wasn't expecting my avocado toast to be stretched out the way it was but it was fantastic! Staff was incredibly friendly. I felt bad not being able to speak with one who checked up on me ad my face was stuffed with toast.

Purely a coffee review!! The coffee is really good and I think they own the Camp North End market! The quality they have for their roast is insanely good! I also got their seasonal shot of espresso! ‍‍ Must try if you're coworking in camp north end!

We went for one of their Wednesday chicken sandwich/wine specials and I can't wait to go back! Everyone working that night was helpful, attentive and welcoming. The cashier helped us pick out our wines and they were delicious. We enjoyed them on the patio while we waited for the chicken sandwiches. The fries were crispy and flavorful and the sandwich was HUGE. It had a little bit of heat from a spread that was on the bun, but the pickles on top were excellent. Would definitely go again for this promo!

My husband ordered the winter special espresso tonic and also ordered the spam musubi and Hex waffle. Wow, the food was absolutely delicious. I loved the spam musubi and haven't found many places that have it on their menu. I would come back just for that. The waffle also was perfectly made and super tasty. There was so many delicious food options on the menu and i can't wait to come by to try them!

Awesome Coffee shop located in the Camp North End District. Precision Crafted specialty drinks, housemade syrups and incredible service/hospitality is what you have to look forward to when visiting Hex. Ample amount of seating indoors with some outside seating as well. The vibe is very warm & cozy! I tried the seasonal Festivus latte which was flavored with mulling spices & a cardamom whip

Had a great time here with a few friends during silent book club! We split a bottle of chenin blanc and enjoyed some quiet time reading and then catching up. The wine was delicious, our waitress left it with us in a chiller and was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive with water/refills. This is a super sleek, minimalistic space, and they have a small but interesting food menu. My friend ordered a rice bowl with a fried egg. Looked like a good hearty portion. I would definitely return to work, read, and chat with friends. There are a lot of other great places in this complex too. @azfitfoodfun

Did I miss the memo that coffee shops aren't carrying half and half? Good coffee but would've appreciated a splash of half and half.

A minute after I sat down, a lovely couple tried to squeeze the vintage wooden booth that looked like it was built before the civil war. Cute tho but tiny. I told them they were fine to join me so they could sit in the comfy chairs! And that I didn't mind. So they were grateful to join my spot back here in the last room. I don't need to bogart the whole corner so I was happy also that they came over. Food is good here and everyone nice and helped me carry my order so I didn't spill my beloved matcha latte!

I had recently tried this drink at another Haraz location and loved it so much that I officially considered myself a matcha drinker. When I received my drink, I noticed it looked much pinker than it had at the other locations I'd visited. I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations. On a positive note, the staff members were kind, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in.
