Have stayed here about a total of 3 times over the years. Enjoy reading in the pool area and getting away for 2 nights. Can be noisy at times depending on the time of day and depending on whether there are young kids - but plan on times when it is quiet or when no one is around. I was there for the opening of the pool area this morning - arriving just after 8am. Lights weren't even on yet, but they were cleaning the pool, the locker rooms were being moped, as was the sauna; also all the tables were being cleaned too. So nice to see that things are being cleaned and I would assume this is daily. Thanks to Yee S. Chi for a very clean room - spotless. As usual, I treat places like my home, so I left it essentially as clean as possible. :-) read more

The pool area was good but needs improvement. The ground around the pool was also a little gross and could use regular cleaning. Other than that however the pools and hot tub were great. The rooms need the most improvement by far however; the furniture is very outdated and they have a slight smell. We found crumbs and smushed candy in our bed. The walls are also very thin so be prepared to hear everything your upstairs do and say at night. The amenities building has a gym which is useable but has outdated equipment. Overall it was fun but could use updates all around. read more

We stayed he for a few days and really enjoyed the place. The resort offers several amenities which we took advantage of. The grounds were nice as well. After a long day of traveling and visiting several places we were able to go to the swimming pool area and enjoyed a nice swim and some time in the jacuzzi. The warm water was a perfect way to decompress from a long ride and walk. After soaking in the pool we felt refreshed. We also were able to take advantage of the workout room they had. The workout area was not that large but they had enough to get a decent workout while on vacation. The rooms are a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room which could easily sleep 6. Two rooms, one with a full size bed, another with 2 twin beds and a sleeper couch where 2 more could sleep in. The room had a full kitchen which was good. We used it to warm up some leftovers and have breakfast in the morning. We also had the option of watching TV in the living room area or in our room. Oh let me not forget we had use of two bathrooms as well. I would have given them 5 stars if not only for the people staying on the second floor who seemed to be having a full court basketball game up there. From like 7:00PM to about midnight it sounded like they were having a scrimmage. Constantly running back and forth without stop. We called the office about 9:00PM and got no answer. Then we called the night security and no one answered as well. If not for that they would have gotten 5 stars. read more

Overall we liked our stay here, although it was a raining. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with kitchen, living area and deck. The inside of the condo was nice although we did have a problem with ants. When we called the front desk and they sent someone over within the hour. The pool area is awesome. Huge Jacuzzi, kiddie pool, and very large main pool. They also have a bar inside the pool area which is amazing. On the grounds there is a smaller playground which is great for a stop, would definitely go here again. read more

While making my reservation I was offered two rooms, the only difference supposedly is that the Signature rooms were recently renovated. I asked for whichever building was closest to the pool which, big surprise, was the more expensive one. This ended up being in the farthest building so I think I was duped from the get go. From a cleanliness and maintenance perspective it was passable, one bedroom door didn't close, and there was spaghetti sauce on the carpet and dirty toilet paper on the floor in the bathroom. A towel bar in one bathroom fell off from the weight of a wet towel. The biggest disappointment by far was the imitation fireplace which was basically a picture of a fire with a light and a fan beneath it. It threw no heat but actually circulated cold air and I'm genuinely not sure how they justify calling it a fireplace at all. The people above me were training elephants all night or something. They were literally making the cookware in my kitchen shake and I had to get up and move things around to get it to stop the rattling sounds. When they walk our vents in the ceiling squeak and they NEVER stopped walking around. I tried sleeping in the bedroom and the living room but nowhere was an escape from a sound like overweight construction workers in boots learning to clog dance. (Additionally, my blanket smelled like perfume, not detergent, somebody's perfume, it was gross so luckily there was a spare.) Now I'm listening to those assholes fill 100 water bottles and run up and down to the car. I have been trying to sleep since 3am and it's now 8 so I'm really damn cranky. To add insult to injury there're no curtains in this bedroom, just slatted blinds, so as soon as the sun was up it was in my eyes. I've been coming here for a couple of decades because I'm an owner at their sister resort and used to really enjoy our visits but the lack of an actual fireplace, being overcharged and my inability to sleep means this is probably my last overnight here. However, I have an emotional attachment to this place so I'm sad to review it poorly and am still compelled to give them at least three stars because the staff is great and they location and amenities are worth the day trip as a timeshare owner. read more

Groupon did me wrong!!!!!! Got a lower basement suite. These places are not even close to sound proof. We could hear every step. Even worse, one night unit above turned on their jacuzzi tub at around 1AM....OMG!!!! The entire unit was vibrating! Anyways, it seemed like the block we stayed in was up next for renovations. Hence the Groupon deal// yet Groupon never mentions you will rwceive the resorts worst suite! Guess what, I would never take my family to this dumo again! I will also never buy a Groupon vacation again. In January we had same experience in Florida resort. They basically put you in a room that could not and would not be rented. P.S. I had a great snowboarding getaway to Gunstock Mountain in New Hampshire a couple weeks ago. Got hit with a winter snowstorm giving us almost a foot of snow every 2 days. Lots of snow. Great conditions on the mountain. I stayed at the Summit Resort time share condos. Only 20 minutes away from Gunstock. The place is a little tricky to find - and even more tricky is finding your condo. It was snowing when I got there which made finding this place and my condo even worse. But I was fortunate enough to run into one of the grounds keepers/plow drivers who was super friendly and cool and helped me find my condo. Followed him to the building. I never would've found this on my own lol but like I said he was super helpful and nice which made everything cool. Got into my condo on the lower floor - totally beautiful and spacious! Very cozy and warm. Nice kitchen, fireplace, 2 bedrooms, bath with hot tub, big living area, wifi, cable, nice view and lots of space. As I was unpacking my snowboards and gear and put a pizza in the oven the guests upstairs were back in their condo. I'm a pretty easy going guy but dude....you can hear every footstep, every door slam, every television channel change, and every muffled conversation. This condo has zero insulation or soundproofing between floors!!! And these people weren't trying to be noisy. They were just walking around and doing what you do when you move into your condo for a week. I swear - you could hear everything! EVERYTHING! Ruined the peaceful impression I had when I first settled in. Forget about sleeping in the master bedroom. You could hear there TV in THEIR master bedroom, drawers open and close, the water running upstairs....it was insane. I had to sleep in the little guest room up front to get away from all the noise from upstairs. The guest room was nice, but come on man... Like I said the place is beautiful - the staff is super friendly and very helpful, and the place is close to the mountain. In a quaint town. But if you're looking to read, relax, get work done or actually sleep... forget about staying on the ground floor level condos. read more

The Good. The place was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you will need. The rooms even had a washer and dryer. The family loved the comfortable layout and we would go back in a heartbeat based on that criteria. The location is close to everything. Based on just this, I would have given it 5 stars. Things you should know. Despite the early booking and half empty lot, we were placed in building four. Which is as far away from the both pools as humanly possible. Here's a hint, if you have young kids ask for something closer to the pool and playground. Also, bring towels and don't expect maid service. You can pick up towels every day if you want, but if you're washing them yourself, why bother? One last thing, the fireplace is decorative. It's looks real in the pictures but it's not. The downside. My brother's family joined us on vacation and booked the rooms upstairs. We had a medical emergency the day of checkout that required my sister-in-law to visit the local ER. Since I now had four children under the age of five in my room, I called to request late checkout. I was cheerily declined. Then the front desk phoned the room 30 minutes later to ask "why we were still there?" My brother offered to pay an additional night with the Summit because of missing his 10:00 am checkout but his offer was declined. That was nice of them but they still missed the mark in a huge way by providing zero empathy or customer service initially. read more

Horrible, is the only word I can think of. Spent a lot of time making a reservation for a birthday party. Check in was easy, the room....eh, it was OK. Got checked in on a Friday, the birthday party was Saturday (3/6/2020). We had asked if our whole party could use the pool, we were told yes on the phone. When we all arrived to use the pool (20 of us) we were told, and I quote "That is not going to happen". We all went back to the room with a bunch of disappointed kids. We would have not stayed here if they had told us we could not bring our party to the pool. This place advertises they hold conferences, weddings, etc. You mean to tell me large parties never use the pool together? Absolute BS. I will definitely never return to this establishment. I went to this resort through a timeshare exchange. It was a little tricky to find. You check in at one building and stay in another. There are some separate buildings of apartments with parking at each. There are 2 stories but no elevator. I was glad to have a ground floor though there is a very high step to the landing and another fairly high step into the timeshare apt. The unit was very hard to find at first and others staying there had the same problem so get as specific directions as you can at the registration. There is a nice indoor pool which we didn't use but looked inviting. We had a 2 bedroom unit that was very roomy. Living room has an electric fireplace that doesn't put out any heat but is nice to look at. There is a patio/porch area off the unit with a nice view of the trees and has a table and chairs. There is a good size dining table, full size kitchen, washer and dryer and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms were comfortable-one with a king bed, one with two twins. I would have appreciated handicap parking. The walkways when covered in leaves and wet can be slippery. There is no covering from the parking to the units. Although we sometimes heard footsteps upstairs, it wasn't that loud. The unit was very clean and appeared to be updated. Like some timeshares, there is no housekeeping. There was free wifi that worked ok but sometimes got dropped. We enjoyed our stay. read more

The location is ideal and peaceful, just wish the accommodations were equal to location. The condos are old, that aside, there need to be renovations done to the inside. This place reminds me of a cabin. The second bedroom has two very uncomfortable single beds and electrical outlets that are not functioning properly. There are two bathrooms but only one shower that has mildew in the knob. The walkway to the condo is broken up making it a potential fall hazard for anyone disabled. There is no handicap access or safety features. I can make it past the try ugly decor but the rundown condition is disappointing for a place that is rated 5 stars. If you have something very basic in mind this might be the place for you but 4 or 5 star it is not. read more

Great amount of space for the price. Would be great for an extended stay, and a family. Has many activities, nice pools, racket sports, hot tubs. It's definitely like being on a resort. The only thing I wasn't very fond of were the sheets (kind of rough), and the musty sort of smell. Over all, great stay! read more

I found it frustrating when the front desk woman shouted at me not to bring food or water "anywhere in the building" when I tried to feed my two young kids lunch in the clubhouse. Yet an hour later, teenagers have their pizza boxes, chip bags and drink bottles all over the place. I find it odd they'd harass young families and let teens run the place. Sleeping is an adventure in the rooms. If you are on the first or second floors, bring earplugs. Every footstep, use of the sink, and toilet flush in the room above echos... all night long. The great indoor pool makes for a fun getaway for the kids, and the two bedroom suites are great for giving you and the kids some space. The jacuzzi tubs in the master bedrooms are nice. Like previous reviewers mentioned, the kitchen has everything you need and it is a good clean place. But its not a relaxing experience. read more

Pools were nice and clean, room was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5 and resort as a whole was quiet and relaxing. Only complaint is no place to eat on site. We purchased groceries and had breakfast and snacks in our unit and went out for dinner. Extra bonus was having a washer and dryer for pool towels. read more

I am conflicted with rating this resort two or three stars. The resort has some good qualities, but it is definitely in need of some customer service improvements. All in all, we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, as well as the pool. It was a great pool, with a sauna (be nice if you put a handle on the inside of sauna door so you could close the door) and large hot (roman bath) tub. This was a huge plus for us. We appreciate all the help the gentleman who first came to our room gave us, in trying to fix what was broken in our room. That said, we were very displeased with how management handled the problems during our stay. We were not asking for anything more than what was promised to us upon booking, and the concierge brushed us aside with little to no effort. Not once did anyone from management reach out to us to try and rectify any of the problems that we were facing, even as our room was falling apart around us. If management tried to make some effort (besides the multiple calls for us to buy into the timeshare) to mend the problems that we faced, we'd consider going back. But given the lack of caring, as well as the poor quality of a lot of the resort, at this time we would not return. ---- We stayed here late winter in 2017. When we first arrived we were pleased. The room had a nice layout and it was clean. The front door lock was not very secure, I mean I know it's NH and typically safe, but I have seen way too many horror movies and they seem that way often too (just add a bolt lock!). The master bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable. I can normally sleep anywhere, and half way through the night we had to sleep on the couch. We were so exhausted the next day (my birthday) from lack of sleep we had to cancel our ski plans, which was the reason for our trip in the first place. We contacted the front desk, who was able to relocate us to a nicer room, which we were very grateful for. This room was, once again, quite nice looking (except the "fireplace"). Very clean, and definitely a nicer room than our first. We were pleased. The master bed was still quite uncomfortable, but an improvement. During our first two days, the towel rod in the bathroom fell off the wall, the garbage disposal broke, a glass was found broken in the cabinet and the washing machine broke (while we were in the midst of doing a load of laundry). We contacted the front desk at 9:30pm, and were pleased to see someone came right over to try and fix our washer. Unfortunately he couldn't, but said he'd have someone follow up the next day. A mechanic arrived the next morning, and was unable to fix the washer (though he did fix the garbage disposal). We contacted the front desk, and when asked they said they could get us access to a washing machine in a room in our building (since the temperature was in the single didgets). Upon walking to the front desk to get the key, they not only didn't have a room in our building, another free rooms washer also didn't work so the only room we could use was in a building on the other side of the resort again it was under 10deg out, and all my pants were now wet. When we said that's too far, the concierge simply said "ok" and left it at that. When we asked if we could have new towels (since the old ones along with a lot of our cloths were soaking in the dirty water of the broken washing machine) the women replied they only do a towel exchange and we would have to bring them to her. Yes walk dirty wet towels in 7deg weather to put on her desk. Additionally, the night before we contacted the front desk about places in the area that deliver, and instead of giving us a few names over the phone we had to go to the front desk to get a printout with the pizza places, not a big deal but would have been better customer service. But who does not love a pointless 7 degree walk (there is a reason I wanted delivery) Sorry this is so wordy, and if you do go I hope that you face none of these issues, don't watch horror movies, and own a mattress pad you can bring and definitely go and enjoy the pool, we will ! read more

(This was apparently an unfinished review from 2012, which I just posted. Not sure why Yelp didn't process my review in 2012.) This place looks nice. The rooms were alright. But the front desk staff was horrible. We were meeting some friends there to stay for the weekend while we were skiing. Our friends made it to the hotel before us, and they talked to the front desk, and the front desk gave them our keys to the room. Now, I didn't have any issues with them providing the keys, the problem I had was that the hotel never contacted me to confirm these people were staying with me! These could have been strangers that just happened to show up, and the front desk gave them both copies of the keys, without so much as checking their ID's or even taking the security deposit for the rooms. When we arrived to check in, they said our friends had already check into our room, and had the keys already. Then they asked us to pay the security deposit! This is just something that a hotel should never do. I should know, I work for a Hilton hotel outside of Boston! There also was no on-site security after 9pm. There should ALWAYS be security person on hand at all times, 24/7! The front desk does not answer there phones at night either, I know because we made several calls to the front desk that night, and no one ever answered. They do nothing for noise complaints either! When we finally got to through to the front desk the following morning, and talked to the general manager. She was completely rude and unprofessional to us! She even hung the phone up on me! I called her back, and she told us we can leave the resort! I was completely disgusted with the staff there and especially disgusted with the general manager who had no cares for the guests staying there. I work in this industry. Everything about their customer service was handled incorrectly! If I acted like this general manager did, I would have been fired! I will never return to this place! It definitely doesn't make you feel at home with the horrible customer service. I would recommend everyone else to stay away from here as well. read more

booked on hotel.com. the address on the confirmation is different than the one searched through google. tried calling the hotel but couldn't get though. It's outdated with broken wooden frames (looks like termite damage) and stained walls. the light bulb is out, the remote is missing and one of the TV is broken. the curb appeal is lacking. its a wooden area so of course there are bugs and spider webs everywhere but the parking lot is filled with potholes. not sure how this place has good reviews on other sites. definitely overrated. wouldn't recommend this to anyone. read more

Have stayed here numerous times (owner). EXTREMELY outdated. Furniture old and uncomfortable. Maintenance fees are high compared to other resorts that were much NICER. Convenient to everything but the road is in bad shape and can do damage to your car. Bathrooms were something out of the 70's. I would suggest a change in management and marketing. We gave up our week. Not worth the money!!! read more

After checking in, I had a question about my room which the front desk person could not answer, so she went to get a manager/supervisor and instead of "how may I help you?", I received a "what's the problem?" response in a rude tone. Not a good first impression, but I moved on. The place definitely shows signs of ageing and needs maintenance. Doors are a struggle to open, washer and dryer very noisy, and there is no soundproofing between units so you can pretty much hear everything going on in the other units. If I was a timeshare owner, I would not be happy with the upkeep of the complex. The Summit should have separate guidelines for timeshare owners and guests. The material we received at check in stated we need to dump our own trash and had an inventory checklist of all the dishes, etc (like I would really want to take their dishes home). Not wanting to lose the additional $200.00 security deposit I had to pay, I dumped the trash on my own. When we asked about this, the front desk person said that applies to timeshare owners only (thanks for letting us know). The one pleasant surprise was the pool which was great. read more

The venue for a wedding or celebration is a nice location. However, if you are looking to stay and celebrate with family and friends after the wedding do not go to this resort. My family and friends were treated with extreme disrespect and the staff were very unprofessional. When everyone booked their rooms we did it as part of the wedding and they had our room reserved above the board of director's room. They board proceeded to come and scream at our guests and stand inside our room until everyone left. For $170 a night, we were treated wrong and left very unhappy. I then talked with the manager the next day and I was told that this was in the rights of the board, and that I would be called back, but that never happened. A lot of disrespect and not much care for their guests. If you are looking for your wedding or celebration to go well, do not go here, unless you are not staying the night. read more

Spotlessly clean, well maintained and FUN! we found a week on craigslist off season for a good price and thought we'd try it out before doing a peak week. So glad we did! There's a lot to do in the area, but my daughter was just as happy in the pool area every day. the pool has 2 water slides and a separate kiddie area which is really nice. There is a waterfall you swim through, and a kind of rock grotto that is very peaceful. The roman spa is big enough to do laps in and you never feel crowded. There is nothing worse than a big resort with a hot tub so small you are practically sitting on someone's lap yuck. The adults found it just as fun as the kids. The water slides are a big plus. They do let you bring pool toys and floats as long as you keep it a reasonable size. in fact there is a closet with all kinds of pool things you can borrow. Large sunny deck off pool area overlooks lake. The lounge area overlooks the pool, and if your kids are big enough to be in the pool themselves, you can sit on a comfortable couch, access the wifi, watch tv, or get a drink from the bar. Free coffee in the lobby. There are tables set up for snacks and a vending machine, no food in pool area. There is a another room with a big fireplace, ping pong, tv and xbox game for use which is occasionally reserved for parties. we saw a group in there once but only while they were eating. There is a game room, racquetball and tennis. The condos are big, comfortable and quiet. I was confused by B.C's review, i wonder if she has the right place, since there is no 3rd floor! in fact we had an end unit with no one above or below, so if you like something very quiet ask for that. I do see that the resort has just been completely renovated and our stay was before then. It must look brand new now. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and especially the pool and hot tub area. Looking forward to staying during ski season. read more
