Ribeye with mashed potatoes and green beans

Recommend the brie as the appetizer followed by the ribeye. Pair with a glass of local white wine to complement the savory steak with a sweet finish.

Delicious, romantic, and overall a stellar experience! We came here at 8:30pm on a Monday and were sat immediately at a lovely outdoor gazebo. We were one of maybe 3 guests total at the restaurant, so it was very private. We ordered the Chicken Arabesque and The Swan with their soup de jour, a delicious savory apple and rutabaga soup. The Chicken was juicy, tender, and a lovely combination of sweet and savory. The duck was cooked to perfection and was also incredibly tender. The mashed potato's were the best of the sides and the rice and the green beans were above average. The ambience was INSANE!! We sat in a gorgeous, twinkle lit gazebo while a storm rolled over the mountains. The lightning lit up the sky, but never dared to give way to rain. The service was impeccable, our server, Matt, treated us like royalty! Matt was very professional and classy and made our experience top tier. Overall, we had one of our favorite meals in Virginia at The Summit Restaurant and can't wait to come back when we're next traveling through!

The food was amazing and the service was perfect. Just remember not to judge a book by its cover and you'll love this place.

A very special hidden gem right in the heart of historic Christiansburg. Been eating there for many years.

Bulls & Bones: Burgers, BBQ & Brewpub has a lot of "B" alliteration going on. I felt like a steak when I visited, so I went for it. I got the USDA Angus Sirloin, which comes with two sides (I chose steamed broccoli and fries). The steak and sides were good and simple, which was just what I was feeling like that night. I visited Bull & Bones with a group of people, and we ordered a few appetizers to share, so I got to taste some things on the menu. First of all, we got complimentary potato chips for the table. Sweet! We also ordered the fried pickles (not my thing, but people were going off on them). Also, we got two orders of the wings: one was boneless wings with buffalo sauce, and the other was regular bone-in wings with Caroline Gold sauce. My favorite were the wings with Carolina Gold sauce, because of the flavor. They were so savory and slightly sweet. For dessert, we got the warm cookie with two scoops of ice cream (yum!) and the blueberry lemon cake, which didn't look like much but tasted amazing. A little bit of dessert goes a long way, and I think you could get away with sharing a dessert, for sure. The ambiance at Bulls & Bones is casual. It's a sit-down restaurant, but it's not fancy at all.

He seemed to genuinely care about us and our orders; extremely accommodating and polite. The place was rather nice inside too for a brewpub! As we sat down our table was given a small sample of their house made potato chips, they were pretty good, would've been even better in some ranch! With that, the main food: I got a Chicken Caesar wrap and added bacon, honestly it was pretty good. The chicken had good flavor, it was very filling, and adding the bacon stepped it up a notch. For the cons, I wish it would've had more Caesar dressing, and the portion for the price it felt a little smaller than I was expecting. Overall a hearty wrap! I also got the 4 cheese Mac for my side. I was so excited to try it because I've heard people rave about it, but it sort of fell flat for me. If you really like a super creamy mac n cheese this is for you! I just wish there would've been a bit more flavor, some depth, for a premium side I just don't think this did it for me. Overall, great service, cute place right outside the big mall area, but I think the food is a little more average than I was hoping for. If there was an option I'd say it lands more at a 3.5 than a 3. Then again, I only got the wrap and mac, and I know they are more known for the bbq and burgers at the moment, so give those a fair chance!

Once we got over the fact that this joint is located inside a gas station convenience store, we placed our order and stood in line with people paying for their gasoline so we could pay for our food and a couple bottles of water. About 10 minutes later, they called our name; we grabbed our food from the counter and sat down at one of the five tables. We popped open our foam clamshells and dug into fluffy pancakes while "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" blared on the radio. This place is about half the cost of a more traditional restaurant, has half the ambiance, but this was one of the best breakfasts I have eaten in a long time. Definitely recommend it if you are passing through.

We found it last year by accident and now we always make sure to stop whenever we're around. You just order at the counter, the menu's on a board behind it, and they usually have some specials too. You tell them what you want, give your name, and they'll give you a receipt to pay up front. There are about five or six tables if you want to eat there. Everything's made fresh, so it comes out hot. Right now, the breakfast special is $7.99 and you get three eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns or seasoned potatoes, and toast. The people who work there are really nice and friendly.
