I have lived in my home for 17 years and I feel like I have gotten a complete remodel by installing solatubes. Andy made great recommendations! I now have to work from home and the office tubes have been a game changer! In the kitchen he replaced the light above my sink with a solatube/light kit and added a second tube which flooded the kitchen with light and makes it look twice as big. I really wanted one in my hallway and he went out of his way to get one exactly where I wanted. Also he was really fast and there was only minimal dust in a concentrated area afterwards. The house feels bigger. I don't need to turn on a light until about 7pm.

Former dark staircase; now bright & cheery.

Scheduling: no problem. Installation: no problem. Payment: no problem (I gave them a check, no problem) I have a condo with a single "common wall." That wall is in the center of my unit, and has always been dark. After installation, I simply CANNOT believe I didn't do this 20 years earlier. The formerly dark staircase is now bright and cheery. A couple of the places I wanted the solatube to be installed turned out to be inappropriate, due to a complicated roofline. Where it was installed turned out to be perfect. Again, I can't believe I didn't do this 20 years sooner. Having natural light in the formerly dark hallway/staircase: priceless.

Love the quality and workmanship that Sun Aire offers! This is 7th one that we've had installed in our home. Lots of light and no leaks!

7th one installed! Love the customer service, the quality, and especially the light! Never had a problem at all.... Highly recommend!

Update. Going further up the line with Solatube we were informed there are 2 different size risers 1" and 2". We were told that as Maria did not have enough of the requested risers (1") she had Andy install the incorrect risers (2"). The company should have waited to do the job until they had acquired the agreed upon 1" risers. Now she has threatened to sue us, not correct the product. A smart business person would solve the problem by installing the correct product.

After 14" Solatube, no lights on!

Has a professional installation crew and executes flawlessly and everything stays on track. Incredible follow-up and will not try to upsell you like other installers. If you're looking to install solar, you should absolutely go with OneSun. Give Rose a call to at least get a consultation and I'm sure your interaction will immediately stand out from other installers. Installing solar is something I kept putting off. When I found out that the tax credit would be going away at the end of 2025, I realized I couldn't put it off any longer. One of the reasons I kept waiting was how annoying solar reps were. Clearly just sales guys who didn't actually know anything about the equipment, technology, and process. I did a bit of research on local installers and OneSun came up a few times, all with nothing but great things to say and especially highlighted the installer's knowledge and patience. Before reaching out to OneSun, I informed myself as much as I could to the point that I knew what panels I wanted, size system, even what inverters I wanted installed. My first phone call with Rose immediately proved that all of the positive feedback I had read was for a reason. She took the time to actually listen to the specifics of my project, what I was looking for, and what questions I still had based on my research. She took the time to answer every question and even went into the technical details that I was interested in. It was clear that she was extremely familiar with not just the logistics, but also exactly how a solar system works as well as the technical details of all of the components in a system. She had my business after that first meeting but of course I still did my due diligence and got a quote from one other local installer which also had similar reviews. Although the sales rep was very nice, it was clear that he was just a sales rep and only reinforced why OneSun was the installer to go with. OneSun's pricing happened to be better but even if the other installer would have come in at a cheaper quote, I would have still chosen OneSun for the install. Rose started the permit process in July and made sure that everything stayed on track, especially since I wanted to make sure that the system be on before the end of the year in order to qualify for the tax credit. The timelines she provided were right on point and the install was scheduled for September. About a week before the install date, there was an unexpected problem. The panels that were originally planned for my install had gone completely out of stock. There had been some kind of manufacturing issue and those panel would not be coming back in stock for another couple of months which could push the project out to the following year. Rose let me know she could acquire slightly larger panels for the project and install it on schedule. I was about to ask what the additional cost for the larger panels would be, but before I was able to, she let me know that there would be no additional cost to me. I'm sure any other installer would have used the situation as leverage to add additional cost to the project. A testament to Rose's commitment to her customers. On installation day, the crew was professional and efficient. They completed everything in one day and made sure to keep everything as clean and organized as possible. Towards the end of the install, I had noticed that they ran one of the grounding wires out from the attic and down the face of the house where I had planned on completing another project in the near future. I knew that the wire would need to be redirected if it was left there so I asked the foreman if he could run it through a different path. Initially he felt like it would not be possible given the layout. I reached out to Rose just to make sure and see if she possibly had another solution. About 10 minutes later the foreman showed me another possible option which was much better for what I needed. It may have seemed like a small thing, but that was another instance in which I believe any other installer would have dismissed my request as pickiness and told me there was nothing else they could do. Rose took the time to speak with her foreman and truly assessed the situation to come up with a solution that fit my needs. It took LADWP about 6 weeks to get my meter installed and for my system to be turned on, but it was still well before the end of the year (and yes, I just got my tax refund with that hefty solar tax credit). It's rare to come across someone like Rose who is honest, patient, and who truly has her customer's best interest at heart. Combine that with impeccable execution and communication, and there is no one else I would recommend for a solar install project. In fact, my parents are considering a small project and I've already told them about Rose/OneSun.

I…read moredidn't know anything about the technology or equipment and I felt ill prepared to make any decisions about what our house needed. There are so many companies out there, it's hard to know who to trust. As soon as I did a few online searches, I was flooded with emails and texts from multiple companies with high pressure sales pitches. One company charged me $350 to do a site survey, just to get a quote for the project, then came back with a revised quote adding $7000 to dig a trench for electrical wiring due to "the location" of our electrical panel. I found OneSun on a yelp search and as soon as I spoke with Rose Avakian, I knew my search was over. This company stands out from the others. There was no sales pitch, pressure, or upsell. Rose explained the technology and equipment in a way that made it understandable and approachable. When her team came to look at our place, they found no need to dig a trench and simply connected to our existing electrical panel. Had they needed to dig a trench, the price they quoted was nowhere near $7000.  From start to finish, the entire experience was transparent, seamless, professional and expedient. The attention to detail and care the team put into making sure everything was done right far exceeded my expectations. If you're looking to go solar, look no further than Rose and OneSun. This is truly the best company I've ever worked with!

I want to start by saying our installation was bumpy, which is why I think they deserve the 5…read morestars.  Why i went with AMECO:  I wanted someone with moderate prices that I could trust, someone that won't leave me hanging if something went wrong. I read enough horror stories online about 8 month projects or installers going bankrupt that I needed to make sure my installer will be in business when something goes wrong. Ameco seems to have a good reputation and has been around for 44 years. Plus, our sales agent Rudy was the most responsive and frank of the 6-7 i talked to. Some sales teams tried to strongarm us into a more expensive package with fear mongering or claims of knowing more about the industry. Other companies' (including one i was seriously considering) sales seemed to be sweeping details about the contract under the rug, which gave me a bad vibe. AMECO was not the cheapest, but below average. There were two things that shocked me though, but didn't end up impacting my installation: 1) AMECO is owned by NRG (one of the other companies we were considering, which DID have the lowest price but also some negative reviews) 2) AMECO doesn't actually use its own in house crew as suggested by sales in north bay, but uses contractors. I was a bit pissed about this when I found out since I was specifically looking for installers with in house teams, but the guys they brought in were consistent each time and did a decent job and communicated pretty well with headquarters so I gave them a pass. The installation process: We were assigned a project manager called Ivan. I have to say Ivan was stellar. Prompt in his communications, knew all the details, was on top of my questions before I even asked them, proactively provided updates, chased down issues for me on a moment's notice. He always picked up when I called, always texted back promptly. Every step of the process I felt informed, in control, and understood all the current issues we needed to chase down. Even though the installers weren't in house, he kept a tight leash. The installation itself was blazing fast. I had budgeted 3 months for the signing to installation at least, but they finished it in roughly two including permitting, engineering - maybe because it's not peak season? It was so fast I wasn't even mentally prepared when we cut over to solar power. The installers that came were knowledgeable, good workmanship, showed up a few hours before the inspection and physically walked through every component to ensure it was done right. Passed inspections the first time. I had no complaints. The followup issue: Our system shut down a week after it installed. Our power provider gave us permission to export energy, i turned on the feature in the device and it died. I was freaking out since I wasn't sure who to call or whether Ameco would still care since they'd technically finished the installation. Called Ivan who scheduled to have a tech come out in a couple hours (though it was later rescheduled to the next day). Turned out my system was faulty and had to be replaced by Tesla. Again Ivan communicated expectations clearly to me about how long it'll take for the part to arrive, when the team would come out to install it. Turned out his plan was pretty accurate (off by 1 day since the part didn't arrive on time) and I had a functional system 4 hours after Tesla delivered the replacement part. There was also a billing question I had (because I didn't read the invoice), which they responded pretty promptly and cleared my confusion in 4 hours. Overall, the service I received was great. Every step I knew exactly when the next milestone was, how it was going to be done and what I needed to do. I was never left hanging and I felt Ameco had done its best to ensure my system was installed the right way. Time will tell how the workmanship holds up, but so far so good. Aside from the original dissatisfaction about not having in house teams, there was nothing to complain about. I think if you get a project manager like Ivan on your installation, you'll be in good hands.

I really appreciate the direct accountability and quick resolution. I'm leaving my original review below for transparency, but their prompt response today restored my confidence in their management. I originally had a positive experience with California Solar Electric during my 10.12 kW solar and Powerwall 3 installation last year. Unfortunately, their post-install customer support and business ethics are nonexistent. I referred a friend who completed their installation months ago. I was explicitly promised a $500 referral bonus for this. After months of waiting, I tried following up multiple times privately to give them a chance to make it right, but I am now being completely ignored. It's a shame because I have several neighbors here in Fountain Valley who are currently shopping around for solar and battery storage. I was planning to refer them here, but I cannot recommend a company that fails to honor its own written agreements and ducks communication. Buyer beware: the installation team does good work, but do not trust a word management says about referral incentives or post-sale promises. Still waiting for my $500.

I've owned my home for 15 years and have had many companies come to repair or upgrade something. It's hard to find a company or contractor who does a great job, communicates well, charges reasonably, and finishes on time and on budget. All In 1 Energy Pros did ALL that. I contacted multiple roofing companies to get quotes. They not only came in with the lowest quote, they also thoroughly explained what they would do for that price in a way I could understand. I worked with Sophia in the office who was VERY communicative as well as just a sweetheart. She informed me of everything I needed to know to prepare for the work. The guys she sent to the site were friendly and worked fast. They removed the old roof and a few damaged plywood panels in one day, and they installation of the new roof took 1 and a half. It was clear to me they went above and beyond to make sure they did a quality job. It's also worth mentioning she never tried to upsell me on anything, they replaced damaged flashing over a few of the vent pipes, and even cleaned my gutters free of charge. Even with this extra work, though they were small things, I didn't pay a penny over what they quoted me. The cleanup was very thorough. It was like they were never there (except for the gorgeous new roof). Copy and paste the above for the attic insulation. One last thing about the legitimacy of this review. (First of all, if you've made it this far into the review, I'm impressed) I hardly ever write online reviews unless I'm super pissed about getting burned by a product or service. Sometimes shouting your rage into the void can be cathartic. With Sophia and All in 1 Energy Pros, this is one of the rare examples where I'm truly blown away by how good these guys are. If you need a new roof, attic insulation or solar installation, I emphatically recommend All In 1.
