It is prepared with chickpea flour, onions, green peppers, fennel, kale and potatoes; with a side of grapes. I wanted one of their cold pressed juices and they have so many options that I wanted to try. I ended up ordering #R4 Beet, apple, ginger and lime. It was fantastic! Before they brought me my meal one of the employees brought me a complimentary cream soup made of Poblano peppers. They have 3 locations and I mentioned to the manager that I live in Las Cruces. I wanted to try a couple of shakes and teas. I'm not sure which I preferred but I liked the taste of both. I got a chocolate shake and a tea drink she calls the Wonder Woman. Both had some vitamins/nutrients in them. Jackie has a variety of different flavors. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted. You have to drink the shakes/teas and exercise for weight loss results. Don't forget to also drink lots of water! Consistency is always key for anything you want to succeed in. Losing weight is no exception. Aside from the drinks, Jackie also offers healthy snacks and meals. I've seen sandwiches and breakfast foods. The menu seems to change at times. It's best to follow them on social media to see what they're doing. Jackie also offers a yoga class with a yoga instructor. She sells the powders to take home and make your own drinks. To make sure you are getting fresh fare, on Thursdays and Fridays they try to sell all remaining stock for as little as $5 a tray; this is a phenomenal deal if you are in a budget but still need to eat nutritionally healthy. Their dietitian, Jess, calculated my needs based on what I weigh, what I want to weigh, how often I work out, what my workouts are and the intensity. She broke down into how much calories, protein, carbs and fats I need per day to build muscle (ladies, muscle burns fat 24/7). She broke out my daily totals into four meals per day. If I pre order online, I get 28 total meals for under $215 and that includes taxes; the same amount of food on Thursdays/Fridays will cost about 140- but no guarantee of what they will have available. If I am ordering, I have to order by Thursday- my order will be fresh and ready to pick up on Sunday and I am set for the week. I do add fruits and veggies, yogurt, nuts and dried fruit. Oh and an occasional cannoli- hey I am human but this goes a long way to keeping me on track. I am never ordering out lunch because I didn't have anything to bring- I always have something ready and good. Oh and coming home from the gym when I just can't bear to look at another tunafish pouch- yeah the shrimp poblano pasta for under 250 calories is a lifesaver.
