    Take 5 Car Wash

    Take 5 Car Wash

I recently went online to Take 5 Car Wash and purchased a "basic wash" package for my senior…read morecitizen mother. Their website listed the different wash packages and explained what the more expensive ones included. I simply needed a basic wash to remove pollen and road dust. The deal was four washes for $40, plus one free. That seemed fine to me. However, when I pulled up to the kiosk at Take 5 Sunbury, a pushy employee immediately tried to sell me a monthly membership. I told him that I had already purchased a package online. He then said, "That doesn't work here," before I even had a chance to show him the QR code. Once I held up the code, he insisted, "It's expired." I told him, "No, it isn't. I just purchased it, and it's good for five washes." Still, he argued that it was expired and that "it won't work." I suggested, "Why don't we try holding it up to the machine and see if it works?" He begrudgingly agreed, and it went through without issue. As soon as he saw that I had purchased the basic package, he informed me, "The basic package at this location doesn't include brushes." What?! There was no mention of this anywhere on the website. Had I known that the basic package didn't include brushes, I wouldn't have purchased it. I assumed that even the most basic wash would include some kind of brush to remove dirt. I felt trapped--once you're in the queue, you have no choice but to continue. The wash itself was completely inadequate, and it didn't remove anything from the car. It was essentially just a squirt of soap and water as you move through the car wash. I could have done a better job with a garden hose from five yards away. When I got home, I contacted customer service and began a back-and-forth that lasted several days. They insisted that they don't offer refunds for wash packages. Frustrated, I filed a dispute with my credit card company, citing false advertising and bait-and-switch tactics. Not only was I upset about the ineffective wash, but also about the poor treatment I received at the kiosk. I've heard similar stories from others in the area, particularly about women being pressured into memberships and how difficult it is to cancel them once you're enrolled. I urge everyone to be cautious when dealing with this chain and this location.

DO NOT DEAL! They…read morescratched my truck! I got my truck badly washed. Their workers were very rude with me. They refused to give me the receipt. I'm a professional truck driver, so I stopped there to get my truck "professionally washed". The guys there firstly were really nice and pledged to God, that I'd be happy with their work (I needed my truck to be washed either from the outside and under the hood). So guess what? I had to show them multiple times, where they missed! And instead of doing their job right they started to yell at me, saying that they are pro's and I'm an idiot! For example, Mr. MIKE squealed at me, after I pointed out to him that he and his guys didn't wash the outside of the cabin of my truck. He replied in a very rude and disrespectful manner, that he is not going to clean it, because his back hurts and demanded me to pay him $130 dollars right now. I payed him in full and asked for the phone of his supervisor, to that he pointed out to his truck with the printed phone number of the Office on it. Same day I called the Office and met with the rep. The lady said that they don't have any "special tools" to wash trucks! We walked around my truck and I showed her the scratch, all the missed spots, dirt, smashed bugs over my cabin and other sh*t they left. She nicely ignored me and refused to either get the job done right, or give me the receipt, or my money back, saying that she will contact me soon. Right now they blacklisted my phone number. My fellow truck drivers! I enclose the photos of my truck. Please be aware of this scum.

Summary: This is the worst automobile dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with…read more On my first visit to the dealership, I test drove a car I was interested in. The car had an apparent mechanical issue (uneven rotor wear, scraping in the brakes) that me and my two accomplices pointed out to a sales manager, Javon, who came to ask us about our test driving experience. He tells us he'll have the service manager check it out, and returns with "there is nothing wrong with the car," citing it as typical noise from the "rejuvenating brakes" (a likely misinterpretation of the "generative braking" system in the hybrid vehicle I was looking at) but offered a $350 discount nonetheless. Since I had test driven other vehicles of the same year and model that lacked such a noise, I was adamant that there was an issue with the car. The discount wasn't quite cutting it for me at the time, and I walked. Next week, I call the dealership and ask them to take a closer look at the vehicle; if they can fix the issue, I am still interested. After several days and many follow-up texts from my end, their reply: "The vehicle will be sold as is." Okay, fine---"what can you do for the price?" Full price. I ask for a sales manager, specifically Javon. After a few more calls, I am connected to a sales manager Ty, because Javon is "busy". Ty offers the original $350 discount, delivered by lieu of removing an optional $250 fee and taking $100 off the ticket price. When called out for this behavior, says it's the best he can do. Once again, I walk. Another week goes by, the vehicle has been on the market over 90 days now (I did my research) so I reach out again to see if I can negotiate. I ask for the sales manager, Javon, not once, not twice, but three times over the course of four hours. Each time the front-desk associate reassures me that he will call me back immediately, sometimes citing false time estimates like 10 minutes, one hour, or anything in-between. Not a single call was returned. The next day (that's today!) I call. The phone is answered by front-desk associate Mark, and after explaining my frustrations to him, Mark tells me he can get an out-the-door price with the original $350 discount, and no optional fees. I tell him that would be great, send the paperwork my way. In the midst of discussing payment options with Mark, the call drops. I call back immediately (less than 20 seconds) and am greeted by a different associate (the same voice that had consistently reassured me I'd be receiving a call from Javon as soon as possible). I explain to her that I was just on a call with Mark and would like to be reconnected with him. But... she can't do that; Mark is now "busy assisting another customer", but no worries, he'll call me back "as soon as possible". I ask her to keep me on the line, and transfer me to Mark; he obviously did not pick up a new call and get into the thick of it with a new customer in the less-than-20 seconds it took me to call back. She leaves me on hold for a minute or two, and repeats the same thing. I tell her the situation, and she says that she can send the out-the-door paperwork to me instead. Great, just get me the price at this point, right? 30 minutes goes by, then an hour, then an hour and a half and still, not a single out-the-door quote. I call them back around the one-hour mark, and they assure me they are getting everything together and sending it over momentarily! In total, I called this dealership eighteen times and did not have a single call returned. It appears they use time-wasting tactics made to whittle down your sanity, hoping you'll jump for the full ticket price of a vehicle. I will no longer be wasting my time with this dealership, and encourage anyone with a shred of self-decency to take their business elsewhere. Also, Auto Boutique: don't reply to this review unless you are prepared to offer me genuine, financial compensation and a manager who actually cares about how their business is run. I don't want more cheap, AI-generated messages or more time-wasting phone calls.
