My husband and I are pilots who just moved to this area and needed a dry cleaner to do our shirts…read more The first time we took our shirts we had no issues but the second time, I don't even think they were dry cleaned. I didn't notice at first since they're in plastic wrap but as I was getting ready for work days later, I took it out and well ... you can see for yourself from the photos below. This place outsources its dry cleaning I think, so they may want to look at the quality of their vendor. I will not be going back after our shirts came back in this condition. There's pit staining in the area that seems to be exaggerated from something as we wouldn't have walked around with them in that condition/ we wear undershirts. There's also more mystery stains. The black marks on the collar are from the seatbelt which we had pointed out prior to the service. These shirts cost $70+ and are pretty much ruined unless I can find someone to reverse the damage.

I dropped it off on 10/8. When I dropped it off I had told them I would be wearing it on the 20th. I was told it should take about a week, I went in on the 18th and it wasn't ready. The alteration person had a family emergency, so I asked for the dress back and he said we can't get to it. It's in a place only that particular person can get to. So now I have no dress my entire family flew in. I decided to wear a dress I had in my closet. I finally picked up the dress and let's just say I need to take it somewhere else to get it finished. I was also charged For the service. They seemed so nonchalant about the whole thing. It really upset me. I went through so much trouble to find the dress and I couldn't wear it and it's not even done properly.

Lapels is professional, charges market rates, is convenient to Sun City and Indian Land and really does a great job cleaning and pressing your clothing. I am a unit commissioner with Scouts, USA so when I dropped off my uniform for cleaning, the kind lady offered me a 15% discount. Can't beat that. And when I picked up the clean uniform it was perfect. They send cleaning to their main plant in Tega Cay so there is about a two day turn-around. Very nice people and a good cleaner to try.

Saber Cleaners & Alterations did an absolutely phenomenal job on both of my dresses…read more Mom's Wedding Dress Firstly, I brought in my mom's wedding dress to completely be altered into a shorter dress that I could wear for my rehearsal dinner. It was such a special project - they cut away the top/neckline and much of the bottom and added boning and made sure the top was secure to become a strapless dress. It was so beautiful and I loved the length and the bottom of the dress. They also took some of the beautiful flowers to cover the sides where we removed some from the top. It was definitely a labor of love and all of my friends and family were so happy :) My Wedding Dress I am pretty short (5'), and needed the dress taken in around the bust and waist. They shortened the front but kept the train long and added a bustle for after the ceremony. It fit like a glove!!!! So so perfect and they took such good care of both of my dresses :) They are both so kind and were amazing throughout this entire process. I brought both of my dresses in after Christmas (Dec 2024) and got married March 15, 2025, so they were SUPER quick with everything. I will continue to use them for all of my alterations and cleaning needs. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!
