I dropped it off on 10/8. When I dropped it off I had told them I would be wearing it on the 20th. I was told it should take about a week, I went in on the 18th and it wasn't ready. The alteration person had a family emergency, so I asked for the dress back and he said we can't get to it. It's in a place only that particular person can get to. So now I have no dress my entire family flew in. I decided to wear a dress I had in my closet. I finally picked up the dress and let's just say I need to take it somewhere else to get it finished. I was also charged For the service. They seemed so nonchalant about the whole thing. It really upset me. I went through so much trouble to find the dress and I couldn't wear it and it's not even done properly.

Lapels is professional, charges market rates, is convenient to Sun City and Indian Land and really does a great job cleaning and pressing your clothing. I am a unit commissioner with Scouts, USA so when I dropped off my uniform for cleaning, the kind lady offered me a 15% discount. Can't beat that. And when I picked up the clean uniform it was perfect. They send cleaning to their main plant in Tega Cay so there is about a two day turn-around. Very nice people and a good cleaner to try.

It is a mystery to them and they cannot understand that slamming the shirt into the pressing press gives you a shirt with the canvas pattern on the folder up cuff. Totally unacceptable. And they are very expensive. Shirts are $2.25 plus tax. To me that is way out-of-bounds and good luck with them continuing to get business at that level. competitors do at least as good with the laundry and dry cleaning and are less cost. Staffed by Korean workers, there is a language problem if you wander away from basic laundry terms. I will not return, taking my shirts up the road to a competitor.
