Very nice looking place. I checked in with Marcia. She was very welcoming and helpful. They have a pool but I didn't get a chance to use it. They have a grill but I didn't get a chance to use it. Where I parked my motorcycle was right outside the back door which made unloading and loading easy. The inside was very nice with a full kitchen and small dining table. There is also a counter with two chairs. I really wish I stayed here more than one night. The local bar area is 1.2 miles away and is a nice walk. I would definitely stay here again but for more than one night.

Hubby booked Sun Dek Beach House based on the high reviews on Hotels.com. I was skeptical since this was not a chain hotel. But I was so wrong!!! This place is amazing! It's a bit out of the way but it's worth it for the quiet tranquil local. Gayle and Marcia are so friendly and helpful. The "Apartment" was amazing! Everything was clean and comfortable. There is a small pool on the grounds and the beach is across the street. Interesting walk through some trees to get to the beach, definitely don't go near sun down LOL My only complaint is the bathroom did not have counterspace... but this is just a small issue, we made it work. Helps to have a hanging toiletry bag. Highly recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet to just relax.

I'm really picky and I wish I could give this little hotel 10 stars! It was fabulous and we regretting going to the other hotel for the last stay of our trip. We will definitely be back. I love a hotel with a full kitchen that isn't a VRBO which my guy hates. This was perfect. Large spacious rooms and a wonderful covered patio for dining and a well maintained pool. You may think it's "out of the way" and while it's not in the center of anything you will be really happy you stayed here. A short walk across the street, through the "enchanted forest" you are at the beach which is public yet feels private. Just down the road is a city owned beach access with picnic tables and a playground for the little ones. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

So the only reason why I'm giving this stay 5 stars is the staff, and the room! It was gorgeous, over priced but staff was amazing and friendly . Upper management ? Not so much I was met with a rudeness and an unprofessional behavior that was eyebrow raising by upper management so much so I decided that this was a molehill I was going to die on . After Gloria brushed me off , never extended use of their facilities while I was waiting for the room, after being told the room I called for wasn't going to be available to me and continued with her conversation with her bestie ...she actually never open the gate and welcomed me .... I travel alot and I travel the world and I must say Gloria gets a trophy and 5 stars for her rudeness and non professionalism . I was stunned after she brushed me off and continued a conversation with her best friend ... well we had civil words and we came to an understanding. Now I'm a person who moves on after we come to an agreement and to be honest Gloria was very kind and welcoming to the next person - which I witnessed. I commended her for fast learning. I probably won't stay here again but you should enjoy the place .... I'm certain Gloria will give you the welcome I never received . Staff : the 5 stars are for you !!! Sweet kind and caring ... absolute gems .. now the price of these rooms are Hilton rates and I could have given a few more dollars for a ritz room ... so this wasn't cheap

My husband and I went to Boynton Beach for a short vacation, looking for a good review place that take dog, and we found Sun Dek Beach House. We got there around 7pm and they called few days in advance to make sure we won't be later that 8pm for check in, then they needed to give us door code and instructions for getting in ourselves, glad we got there littler early. We stayed in a studio room, small but cozy, clean and well equip. Wish the wardrobe and coffee machine can be cleaner, but they reacted right away to clean up for us, love their hospitality. Staffs there were friendly and helpful, they even remember all customers' names. Breakfast included free coffee and muffins, so don't expect too much. Love their pool and free beach chair and towels provided for you to bring to the beach, a little walkway, easy access. Overall, will definitely come back to enjoy with our dog, she loves this place too.

This was one of my favorite places ever. I want to go back, and soon. Friendly staff. Clean. Stocked kitchen. Great pool with chairs. Outdoor area to eat/relax. Private balcony. We traveled with a 1 year old and we set his pac n play up in the room with us. It was perfect for our family of 3. Fully stocked kitchen with pots/pans/dishes/cooking utensils. Full size fridge. Can't say enough good things. The area is so safe and gorgeous. Easy walk to beach across the street. Highly recommend, coming from someone who travels often.

We were visiting family in Delray Beach and needed a place to stay for my husband, myself and my little brother. My husband stumbled across Sun Dek and I'm so glad he did!! The staff was beyond friendly from the moment we made the reservation. Easy check in, the front desk guy even walked us to our room to make sure we were happy. (#12). The suite was beyond clean and I'm a stickler for that. I was instantly impressed. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils etc, the bathroom was beautiful (countertops were small, only complaint there). The king bed was SO comfortable, we slept on the softest sheets I've ever felt. My brother slept on the pull out couch and had no complaints as well. Each room is assigned a parking spot, there are guest spots as well. The beach is literally walking distance and is VERY nice! The pool is also very clean, I believe it's a salt water pool, we loved spending time in there. Our biggest complaint over our entire stay was simply that the "Privacy Please" sign would NEVER stay on the door (and there was barely any wind), so the maid would always come in even if you didn't want her too. Maybe they could make that sign a magnet? or put a hook on the door to hang the sign. I had to deduct a star for that because when you need privacy, you need privacy. We would (and will) recommend this to all of our family and friends!!! Wonderful place!

You quickly learn to get your cyberspace BS under control, unplug, and pay atention to every little detail, and most importantly, the people around you. When you are here, it is so important to just breathe and ground yourself! We have come here over 10 times over the past 9 years, and we always have a top-tier experience. Here is why this resort remains unmatched for us: The valet is incredibly efficient despite the large crowds. The front desk is always kind and accomodating. Truly, every single employee is impeccably trained. Walking through the property feels like being in the Titanic movie, absolutely grand and timeless. The restaurants and bars are excellent across the board. Our absolute favorite part of vacationing here is heading down to the beach, grabbing a couple of beach chairs and umbrellas, and spending the whole day there. We love getting food from the nearby pool restaurant and staying put for hours. One main difference between The Breakers and any other hotel is that they never force you out of your spot just because it is 6 PM. If the staff has to leave, they let you stay on the beach for as long as you want. While the beach itself is not the absolute best in Florida, the natural rock formation gives it a beautiful, unique touch that is incredibly refreshing for the view. They also offer water sports for the young and enthusiastic! The Flagler restaurant is fabulous, but I will leave that for a separate review later since it is currently undergoing a major renovation a may be a whole different universe once it reopens! If you want a true luxury escape where you can actually disconnect and be treated like royalty, this is it. We will keep coming back for years to come!

As soon as we got off the elevator, the host was there to greet us and help us find our table, which was a nice touch. To the left was this beautiful pool all lit up at night, and to the right it felt like you were walking into a rose garden. There were vines everywhere, cute tables, and so many perfect spots for pictures. It was also great for people watching. Our table had a comfy couch, chairs, and plenty of space to hang out and relax. The service was great the whole night, and having a bar inside made it even better. We ended up staying pretty late because the atmosphere was fun, the entertainment was good, and there was always something going on. Definitely a really fun spot for a night out

Clean, smells good, has valet parking (for $42 a night). We booked our room, and online you can choose the actual room you want so we chose something on the 4th floor. When we checked in, the gave us a different room entirely on the 2nd floor. When we got to our room which was clean and simple. Live TV wasn't working. We called the front desk about this, they apparently sent someone to fix it while we were gone, but it wasn't fixed when we got back. Theres a weird window next to the bed where you can look into the bathroom...and only a curtain offers the person in the bathroom any privacy. The curtain...is on the outside of the bathroom...very very bizarre. Why would anyone want a view into the bathroom? We left to go to the pool and quickly found out there was construction ongoing and the rooftop bar and restaurant was closed. The whole reason why we came here. Because it was closed, apparently the drinks we ordered via the app they have QR codes scattered around the pool to use, were sent into oblivion because no one ever came over with them. We had to flag someone down and show them our proof of payment. The music by the pool was also deafening. So if youre trying to relax and read a book...thats not going to happen. I want to mention, nowhere on the website or checkin did they mention they were under construction. We would've never booked this hotel if we knew. You could hear the construction ongoing throughout the day. When we asked about this at checkout, they said they didnt know about it and the construction crew just showed up randomly....what?! Saturday we left for the day and when we came back around 4pm, our room wasn't cleaned at all. We called the front desk, and asked why and the individual at the front desk said "we dont do that here." At this point we are super confused. You don't clean the rooms during the day? They responded with "what do you need? Fresh towels?" We needed toilet paper, towels, conditioner and the room to simply be picked up. At checkout we asked that the resort fees (which were about $75 for two nights which is insane considering theres ongoing construction and their rooftop bar and restaurant was closed) and valet fees ($42 a night) be waived for the inconvenience and they did that no problem. Overall, the room was fine, sans the creepy window looking into the bathroom, but I've legitimately had better service at a La Quinta Inn. For a "luxury" hotel, we certainly didnt receive the experience we paid for. Over $500 for two nights and the experience was so poor we wanted to stay away from the hotel for a majority of it. Certainly wont be returning.

I am beyond disappointed with my recent stay. I have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years…read moreand have visited more than a dozen times. Until now, I have never had a single complaint. This was the first time I have ever felt unwelcome, uncomfortable, and honestly appalled by the way I was treated. Throughout my stay, I was repeatedly questioned by staff about what room I was in and asked to show my room key over and over again. It happened while I was trying to enjoy breakfast, while I was having coffee with my mom in the lobby, and even while I was relaxing at the pool. Having staff approach me during a swim to ask what room I was staying in was embarrassing and completely unnecessary. What made the experience even worse was how my family was treated. I travel to Boynton Beach twice a year to visit my mother, who lives locally. She was not trying to stay at the hotel--she was simply meeting me before we went out for the day. As she walked into the lobby, she was immediately interrogated by the front desk and asked what room she was in. When she explained she wasn't a guest but was there to meet me, she was told she couldn't even be in the lobby because she didn't have a room. Later, during my brother's wedding weekend, my mother, niece, and nephew were also questioned as though they weren't allowed to wait for me in the lobby or come up to my room during the daytime, despite the fact that I was a registered guest paying for that room. I initially tried to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt. I thought perhaps there had been security issues that required staff to be more vigilant. However, when I spoke with the general manager, he told me there had been no such issues. What truly turned an incredibly disappointing stay into one I will never forget was my conversation with the General Manager, Deon Weathers. Rather than listening to my concerns or trying to understand what happened, he flat-out told me there was "no way" his staff would have treated me that way and essentially accused me of lying. After more than a decade of loyalty and nothing but positive experiences, to have my honesty questioned was insulting and deeply unprofessional. I wasn't looking to get anyone in trouble. I shared my experience because I genuinely hoped the hotel would look into what happened and improve the way guests are treated. Good management starts with listening, taking concerns seriously, and being willing to investigate--not immediately dismissing a loyal guest's experience because it's inconvenient to believe. After more than 10 years of staying here, I never imagined I would be looking for another hotel when I come to visit my mom. But that's exactly what I'll be doing. It's heartbreaking because this hotel had always been my first choice. The repeated questioning, the treatment of my family, and especially being told that my experience "never happened" were simply unacceptable. I hope management eventually recognizes that accountability and respectful customer service matter just as much as a nice property. Unfortunately, this experience has permanently changed my opinion of a hotel I once enjoyed recommending.
