They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind -- you can tell they care about their customers. The food came out hot, fresh, and tasted amazing -- everything was on point. Went on a holiday weekend for Sunday Brunch. It was raining and we had a larger party. The servers were super nice and accommodating. Even when other large parties joined. They did their best to keep up and still were super pleasant. The food was delicious , I had the crab cake Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was not too thick. Crab cake was tasty and sage biscuit was the perfect base to soak up all the goodness. Some in our party had waffles, some has omelets so had hash. All was good. So glad we found this breakfast/lunch place! unfortunately late into our trip, but at least we found it! Varied and delicious menu. Specialty hot or cold coffee or straight up black steaming cups of Joe! We found it to be so good, my husband even ordered a second Cappuccino! (He has never done that before) Gluten free bread for sandwiches, toast, sub for the biscuits and as French toast! Sometimes they offer gluten free pancakes, just ask. Eggs were spot on as your order them and generous with portions. So many options for breakfast, bowels, plates, skillets, omelette's and more. Many different types of mimosas. Indoor booth, table top and counter seating as well as outdoor. Parking is easy and free as it's part of a plaza. We definitely will keep this one on our list for the next visit! 5 Star update! I recently returned to Sage Biscuit, but this time for lunch, and was absolutely blown away by their salads! Up until now, I had considered SBC a breakfast/brunch spot and completely taken their lunch menu for granted. Not anymore! I got a spinach salad with strawberries and a homemade dressing. They actually had a couple of options of homemade dressings and people in my party ordered different one and they were all phenomenal. From a lime-based dressing to a tomato garlic, we were impressed! We also got iced coffees and they hit the spot. From now on, I will absolutely consider SBC for a lunch option. Previous review from 7/2021: 5 Stars for a fabulous breakfast, stellar service, and great outdoor seating! We were looking for a local spot with good outdoor seating (trying to keep things as safe as possible during the high covid numbers in FL) and Sage came up on our radar. They had plenty of seating out front, including several tables under their roof (covered seating) and several more with large shade umbrellas. I really appreciated that someone kept coming by to check in the shade coverage and make sure the umbrellas were well situated. In terms of food, you can't go wrong! Folks at the table had the huevos rancheros, the hipster avocado toast dish, the Mediterranean scramble, and I got the Southwest quinoa scramble with two poached eggs (recommendation from our lovely server after she heard I was looking for healthy but hearty!). Each dish was really flavorful! I loved the quinoa scramble and have to heavily recommend adding a poached egg or two if you order it. Another standout were the biscuits. Been coming here for at least a decade and it remains one of my favorite breakfast spots of all time. Most of the time I order from the specials menus. You can find it on the chalk board behind the bar. Service is always impeccable and the food is just devine. The actual sage biscuits are incredible and today I ordered the biscuits and gravy. This is not the first time we have eaten there. Love the food. The service and some servers are downright rude and lack the 5 steps of service. By the time some of food arrived it was 2 hours. I still hadn't gotten my food. We had no silverware and our waitress had never once asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We had to find her for refills. By the time I got my food of 2 pancakes and bacon I asked her take it back and off my bill. We had 8 kids, all from new born to 8 years old. A big family vacation. Trying to keep them entertained for that long is almost impossible. We watched other tables get their food, drinks and leave. As new customers did the same. We went to Sage for my birthday breakfast. The service was the star today. First, the hostess was a super sweetie and we had a great waitress. She was kind and responsive. I always like the savory options, but I get a pancake on the side just to taste it! I tried the corned beef hash in honor of one of my father's favorites. It was a little vinegary and my eggs were over cooked, so not my favorite, but not horrible. My daughter got the jalapeño bacon and fried green tomato Benedict...always a good choice. Kind of slow We decided to have brunch at Sage Biscuit today, we were in the area and I remembered they had a nice outdoor seating area. There was a small wait until a table opened up, which gave us time to look over their menu online. For my last review I had their Hunter's Skillet and while that still sounded great, I instead decided to go with their Corned Beef Hash. I do love a good corned beef hash for breakfast. When our server came to ask about drinks, we were also ready to order. Credit to our server who stopped by a couple of times to let us know the status of our food, but it still took 30 minutes from the time we ordered until we got our food. That was too slow. The food finally arrived and it looked great, but I discovered my corned beef lacked flavor. There was plenty of food, but if you had blindfolded me, I would not have been able to identify it by taste. I can taste other things, so it wouldn't be due to Covid. So personable; I really miss southern style hospitality. This place has a large outside seating area as well. The menu is super large but offers a variety of things. My husband went with the special, homemade corn beef hash. It was amazing! And I got the Jalapeño bacon Benedict. It was super tasty. Holy wait, but definitely worth it. The biscuits are absolutely delicious (as they should be - it's in their name!) but the prices are high. We spent the same amount for 2 people as we did at another breakfast spot for 3 people with similar dishes and less wait time. Don't get me wrong - I will always be okay paying for good food, but the meal itself (minus the biscuits) didn't really wow us like I'd hoped for that price point. We will certainly go back and try more dishes, hopefully we are able to find a day where the wait is not extensive.
